Invaders!

Update 1.3

Pushed out an update today with a major improvement -- the enemy Invaders are now higher in the air, and a bit larger. For such a simple change, this really makes a huge difference in how fun the game is to play!

We've hosted several high score VR Tournaments over the last week, and Invaders has fit in perfectly to the high score model we were using. All of the kids loved having the game as part of the tournament!

Update 1.2

Today we pushed a new update to adjust the positioning of the gun, as well as to fix a big where the gun would become detached from the controller after leaving the game through the system button and coming back in.

Keep playing - and keep sending us your thoughts and ideas!

Thanks for playing!!!

Update 1

We made a quick update from some early feedback to change the following:

We removed the player ship from the intro, and made the Invaders you have to shoot larger - to help with confusion when starting the game.

We also added a background behind the player, so if you are facing the wrong direction it will tell you to turn around!

Invaders will now move forward slightly less, making the earlier levels a bit easier - but things can still get plenty hectic as the game moves forward!

Thanks for playing!

Release!

Hey guys! Really excited about our first release - and I'm insanely excited about the concept of bringing retro games, with their original unadulterated retro feel into the VR world! There are several classic arcade style games in the steam store, but they all try to put a new "VR" space age look to them - and I think one of the most fun parts about those games is the original style graphics being a bit out of place in the new and exciting world of VR!

Looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks!
