Antonin (dev), louis (creator, designer) and Carla (QA Tester) have been working on new content for you. The reception of the game was amazing, it motivated us to make new content and update the game.

Features
Signs : Boar, Cat and Dog signs. Your next run is modified by these signs. Not spoiling anything discover them ingame!
As requested by many players, you can now skip a turn without playing a card, and monsters shields now have 3HP and can be destroyed by weapons.

Bugfixes
Game froze when breaking amphora with big trap behind
Game froze when using axe on mimic with stunAxe power (the one who grants stun bonus to axes)
Game froze when archer was killed with mirror card and there was a trap behind it
Game froze when the player used a whip as their very final card and the tacticWhip power was active (the power that makes you draw 2 cards when using a whip)
Game froze when a trap was pulled with a whip and the thiefWhip power was active (the one stealing a card when using a whip)
Game froze when using a mirror against an attacking mimic
Fixed missing characters in Russian language
Game froze when using "dance" card, using stairs before using every sword in hand, power "swordRegeneration" is active, and a sword was in hand (either because it was there before using "dance" card or with the power who gives two swords on new floor)
Chests now offer one more dagger card with the power allowing to throw daggers on second row (as stated in the description)

Iris and the Giant is coming to Steam, Gog and Utomik on February 27th. After several months of porting the game from Unity to Flash, the game is almost ready. Louis Rigaud, the creator of the game, is very excited for the release and we all hope you'll like it.

Iris is being ported to Unity
Hello there!
At first, we wanted to release Iris And The Giant on Steam in October or November 2019. We decided to change the development rhythm and temporarly hire Antonin from Subtle Games (who made Seeds of Resilience). He will port the whole game to Unity.
Why this port?
Adobe Air is a bit clunky to work with. It works, but porting games into consolescan be hard. Louis is not a coder by heart (although he's good at it) and didn't feel he would do the whole Unity port by himself. We (Goblinz) wanted to take this off his shoulders.
Here's a list of things this Adobe air > Unity port will allow:
Better data and level management
Better framerate & optimization
Potentially more visual effects and polish through Unity's capabilities
Future potential ports to Switch & other consoles
Faster bug-fixing, content updates & build push after release
It's a tool we already use for all other productions so we know our way around it. Or we can easily find people to work on it (compared to Adobe Air)
We think it will take a few months and allow for a PC release of Iris and The Giant before Summer 2020. Thank you for waiting. We're doing this because the game really deserves a flawless, fluid experience on many platforms!
