Commander, the latest Situation Report has just arrived!
With this update we are introducing some key balancing changes which improve the game balance changed in the previous update. This time we reduced stack size limit and embarking time, buffed HP and decreased speed of some units. Please mind that balancing changes are effective only in the new game rounds.
Additionally, we addressed an issue where the messages window was not updating after sending in coalitions. This resulted in users seeing the same message sent multiple times. With this fix, you can now maintain clear communication without any duplicate messages.
Finally, we also fixed the problem when you couldn’t spectate a finished game. Now you can spectate all finished games without issues.

In this event you will know no friends, only foes: On a 32p map with the ‘anonymous round’ feature enabled and no coalitions you will be pitted against all other 31 players in a struggle for survival.
The event maps will start immediately after their creation with random country selection enabled and will run at normal speed. Players are flagged as inactive after 2 days. Please note that this event will also have a fixed runtime of 6 weeks:
If no winner is determined before time is up, the player with the highest total of victory points wins and receives a generous gold prize.

This event will feature a group of gaming content creators and Bytro's staff coming together to play a 144x speed game of IO, raise funds and awareness for both TransLifeline and CSD Frankfurt, and have a good, chill time!

New balancing changes that we announced previously on our Discord are live! Thanks to your feedback we were able to assess all pros and cons and now you can see the final version. We made drastic improvements to the in-game economy, unit movement speed, and the number of starting units. We hope you like these updates and are looking forward to your constructive feedback on our Discord server!
In addition to that, we addressed adviser tasks. The adviser now only shows tasks related to promoting units if the player has already researched them. Also we fixed a bug with adviser rewards, enabling players to claim them instantly instead of experiencing delays.
Finally, we fixed some bugs with error messages on mobile devices and improved the time adjustments in our speed maps.
