Performance improvement

We have worked on performance of the game. Was increase loading speed of scenes and fps.

Pre Beta demo is available!!!

We have been working on improving the game for a long time and are happy to finally share a new demo.

What was done:

1. Improved UI
2. Improved interaction with player's car
3. Improved global map
4. Endless random events on global map
5. Added procedural dungeons
6. New music
7. Mechanics of hunger and thirst
8. Survival mode
9. Random objects and skins of objects for locations
10. Random loot
11. Tutorial has been improved. Added manual

Devlog #1: GENERATION OF OBJECTS

Greetings!

Now our team is working on improving the replayability and variety of environment. The following improvements are planned.

1. For same type of map, for example, a raider camp, some objects will be picked randomly from a preloaded list. Imagine that there are 3 important points on the map: A, B, C. The following buildings have been created for them: a hut, a destroyed house, a barrack, a warehouse, a workshop, etc. In place of A, B, C, any of these buildings may appear. The same location will look completely different with each walkthrough.

2. Objects inside houses: furniture, decor, loot will also be random. In place of the refrigerator may appear an armchair, a wardrobe or a heap of garbage.

3. For almost objects in the game there are several images with varying degrees of wear. Which in turn will also be selected randomly.

In total, this gives hundreds of possible combinations even for one location, and we have planned a wide list of various maps: farms, raider camps, towns, landfills, gas stations, residential area, highway eateries and much more. We want to create a whole world for you!

Large Update #2

Thanks to the feedback from the players, we have made a number of important improvements.


  • The tutorial has been completely redesigned. Now this is a separate mini-prologue in which you will get acquainted with Dante's talking eggplant))
  • Various UI improvements: large item icons, larger and more noticeable enemy health bars, more convenient indicators of reloading and grenade throwing.
  • Minimap.
  • Shaking the camera when taking damage.
  • Increased viewing area.
  • Faster characters and animations of melee weapon strikes.
  • Removed the sliding effect.
  • Slightly slowing down enemies from damage.
  • More noticeable effects of hits for bullets.
  • Using items from the ground.
