We've got some exciting news for you! As some of you might know, Japan had a limited-time only shooting mini-game that was only available with pre-orders. Well we've brought it over and localised it, so it is now available for free and forever on Steam and other platforms! You don't need to have the main game installed, this functions as a separate app that you can install for free.
We hope you enjoy this side-scrolling shooter mini-game, and keep your eyes peeled for the Black Friday sale coming very soon!
Big Picture Mode Fixed!
Hi everyone,
We just wanted to let you know that the latest update will now enable you to play in Big Picture Mode. We are still liaising with the developers regarding the other issues which will take longer to address.
Thank you for your patience!
Controller Issue Fix + other news
DanMachi Update
Hello Familia!
First of all, thank you very much for your support! We have been looking at the reports of various issues and have compiled and reported them to the developers today, we hope to have good news regarding fixes for you soon!
The patch that just came out was to fix Japanese language support.
As several people have asked, the game's main story is about 20 hours, 30 if you do all the side events. Once you've finished the story, you're looking at the same amount of time if you do the post-content story with the extra dungeons and date events.
Additionally, some of you seem to have issues depending on your anti-virus, so you might need to turn it off during download or loading the game up.
We have heard your complaints about the controller support, and here is how to fix it. First, click on Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? Infinite Combate in your Steam library Then, click on Controller Configuration like this
You will then be prompted by a screen like this, select Browse Configs
Steam will recommend you some settings. What you want to do is click on “Templates”
And then select Gamepad:
It should then do the trick, allowing you to play with your controller!
We would like to thank our loyal players for pointing out this solution in the game reviews. Thanks again for your support, and see you soon in Orario!

Release Date Delay
Hello Familia,
We're sorry to announce that there has been a slight delay in the development, which means that we won't be able to release the game this Friday. We are hoping this will be only a short delay and that the game will be out in the next 1-3 weeks. We will keep you updated as soon as we have a firm date.
Post-story Details
Hello Familia!
We're very near the launch now and we'd like to disclose a few more things about the end game.
Once the main story concludes, you unlock the Dating Mode and extra dungeons. Each time you complete an extra dungeon (or get to a certain floor), you earn date points. You can redeem date points to see exclusive scenes with that character that are completely new for the game.
Each character has five date scenes and Bell and Aiz have different date point scores. So, for example, Bell and Ryu have five scenes and Aiz and Ryu have five scenes, which means you will need enough date points for Ryu’s 10 scenes if you want to watch them all. Certain characters then have “co-sleeping” or “hot spring” events which is the same sort of thing but are offered as rewards for completing the extra dungeons.
The extra dungeons are procedurally-generated and have tougher versions of all the enemies faced throughout the game (Black Minotaur instead of Minotaur, etc.). There are three of these, Grief Dungeon (Earth), Anger Dungeon (Fire), and Despair Dungeon (Water). They each have a unique appearance and five different difficulties.
Also forgot to mention you can switch between playing as Aiz or Bell at will after completing the story!
Finally, here's Hestia flirting with Bell at the very beginning of the story!
Time for Aiz's moves!
Hello Familia!
Today we would like to tell you a little more about Aiz, the Sword Princess.
Aiz is one of the two main character you will be able to play as in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate.
Let’s go together through the actions Aiz can use in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate!
Basic attacks
Aiz has access to a long-range attack as her basic attack. She will throw a wind wave against her enemies, dealing a lot of damages. However, it is not without downside since it will deplete Aiz’s MP, so make sure not to empty her MP bar!
Special attack
Like Bell’s special attack, Aiz has also access to a special attack. By spinning on herself, Aiz will inflict massive damages to every enemy around him, allowing her to get out of a dangerous situation. But be careful, there is a little cool down after each action, so make sure to use it carefully!
Evasion
Also like Bell, Aiz can dash everywhere to both move faster in the dungeon and avoid groups of enemies, which are stuck in their area and won't chase you. She, however, doesn't have a back flip like Bell.
Support
Aiz is also able to use support abilities. Each ability depends on what support you selected. As example bellow there is Riviera’s support ability. She deals huge AOE ice damage around Aiz, which will be very useful if you ever are in a dangerous situation
See you soon for the full game!
Check out Bell's moves
Hello Familia!
Today we would like to show you a little more about Bell, as seen in the game!
Bell is one of the two main character you will be able to play as in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate.
Let’s go together through the actions bell can use in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate!
Basic attacks
Bell can use a series of weak but quick simple attacks. It is the perfect way to create combos and build up damage. Try to get the biggest combo possible to make a lot of damage!
Special attack
Bell has also access to a special attack. By spinning on himself, Bell will inflict damage to every enemy around him, allowing him to get out of a sticky situation. But be careful, there is a little cool down after each action, so make sure to use it sparingly!
Evasion
In order to avoid his foes’ attacks, Bell can dash in every direction. And if you dash backward, Bell will do a backflip! Isn’t it adorable?
Magic
Further in the game, Bell might be able to use magic, but we can’t show it yet, we don’t want to spoil you 😉! Here's the stat leveling up instead!
See you soon for the full game!
New screenshots with fresh localisation!
Hello Familia,
Today we're happy to confirm that we're using the same names as the English localisation of Crunchyroll, so that there is a cohesiveness with the anime! In previous screenshots, we had Ais for instance, which has now been changed to Aiz, as seen below!
Don't forget that you'll also be experiencing the beginning of the story from both Bell's perspective and Aiz's, and you'll be able to play as both of them.
