Today we have an exciting, yet terrifying announcement to make! For some reason we have found out that the aliens are not satisfied with all the brains they have harvested so far. That is why they have decided to invade more locations on the planet.
Weekly update
Our awesome intelligence office has concluded that they will invade a new location every week for an unknown amount of time!
The first location that the aliens will invade is Block Navy! The aliens have attacked a cargo ship that is docked in the harbor in hope to harvest some more brains. Prepare your guns, bring some friends and die like a badass once more!
Block Harbor will be available for all players this Friday! (April 3, 2015)
Some of the updates will also contain new features and bug fixes, but we will announce those separate patch notes!
Patch 1.0.1. - Multiplayer has been fixed!
Hey community!
We just released a new patch that addresses a lot of multiplayer issues. Besides improving the multiplayer experience we have also fixed/balanced some other stuff in the game. Here is the full list:
Multiplayer
We improved the network handling for the multiplayer mode. This allows players to host more stable servers and also allows players to connect to them faster and better. A lot of technical stuff has been done by the developers to make this happen, I got a headache when they explained everything to me. That is why I will just summarize everything into one sentence: Less port forwarding, more alien slaying!
Fixes
- Particle optimization.
- We have updated the spawn indicators, they now have a new visual effect.
- Fixed the S.W.A.T. drone path in Block City. It sometimes dropped items on objects.
- [Singleplayer] If the player closes the upgrade menu and dies straight after, sometimes the game would get stuck. This has been fixed.
- Fixed the bridges on the map: Block Countryside. You could get onto the water and aliens were unable to get to you.
Next week (Monday or Tuesday) we will also announce our plans for new free content, so stay tuned!
Please consider leaving us a review on our store page, we would appreciate that!
