Hello! I thought just recently that I had moved on from this game for good and wouldn't be making any more patches. But the nature of this project has always been to keep coming back after I think it's finally finished. (Really--long ago I said the game was finished when there was only Classic Mode.)
I've just recently finished The Upturned, a physics-based platformer with some very huge, complex scenes, and that taught me a lot of tricks to increase performance. So with this patch the game runs at least twice as fast. Hooray!
My new game is coming out soon!
Hello! It's been a while. I've been surprised by the reaction It Steals has gotten, and I'm really happy people seem to enjoy it.
Since then I released another tiny horror experience early in 2021--for FREE. I've been personally conflicted with the way that one turned out, but I learned a lot from its development. It's a classic indie horror that I made specifically for myself; so if you're like me, you'll love it.
I put all the things I learned from that project to the test in my new, massive, spooky action platformer, The Upturned. On February 10 I will be releasing a demo of the game you can try out! This is a measly taste of the shenanigans that will unfold in this grand hotel for the dead, The Upturned Inn. (And it's a good way for you to give me feedback before the full game is released!)
That's all I have to say. If you're still here, thanks a lot for reading this update--and please consider wishlisting The Upturned on Steam!
See you there!
My new (FREE) game! Dead Seater
Hello! I'm just here to spread the news about Dead Seater, a new horror game I'm releasing for free.
I'm super proud of it and would be happy if you wishlisted it and played it (or got your friend to play it because they say they're so brave), when it comes out on April 2nd.
Patch - Version 12.3c
Hi! I can't believe it's almost been one year since the first version of It Steals was released for free and then slowly grew into a full thing. Anyway I'm here for a quick update to improve the experience.
Also, I'm working on something new called Dead Seater, as well as my massive text adventure Welcome To The Dark Place. If you'd like to stay updated, you can follow me on twitter @ZeekerssRBLX. I also have a discord where we sit in silence and wait for me to do something (but also people are quite nice and post updates on their own projects here from time to time):
