During this event, we will showcase over 60 incredible games that feature women-led development teams and/or female protagonists. In addition, we've dedicated a section on the event page to Girls Make Games, where you can learn more about their impactful work and discover the incredible games that girls have created through their program.
By participating in The Indie Houses Steam Event, you're not only indulging in fantastic gaming experiences, but you're also contributing to a meaningful cause. A portion of the proceeds earned by each publisher during the event will be donated to the Girls Make Games Scholarship Fund. This fund combines professional development and financial support, ensuring that underrepresented students have early access to STEAM programs and the opportunity to thrive.
Girls Make Games has been providing an inclusive space for girls and non-binary students to explore the world of video games since 2014. Through their summer camps, workshops, and other initiatives, they have empowered over 23,000 girls in nearly 150 cities across 20 countries. Use your magic axe and platforming skills to dash, leap, and swim to the finish line and prove yourself a legend of the Trial in this speedrunner competition. The fastest player gets their own custom character added to the game!
