We just announced five cool new indie games at PAX Online. What did you think of the show? In case you missed it, here’s a quick rundown on what we had. As a bonus we have Exclusive Demos of our games available to play right now!
Jack Axe
Jack is her name, and axes are her game in this fantasy platformer about colorful landscapes, amazing acrobatics, and little girls wielding massive axes.
A 2D sidescrolling action game set in Taipei at the turn of the 20th century, see the story of Taiwan’s battle for freedom from Imperial Japan through the eyes of a legendary hero: Liao Tianding!
A 2D Survival Horror game set in, where else, a haunted manor. Guide Victor through deadly traps, mind-bending puzzles, and past the jaws of terrifying monsters to rescue his missing wife Alissa.
We've joined the United Servers of Discord Alliance! This alliance brings together Discord guilds for fun events and server vs server battles!

The AllianceTrivia Bot will enable trivia battles between multiple Discord communities! Try your hand at answering trivia questions and help us win our battles against other servers!
When you have a chance check out the #alliance-trivia channel and show off your trivia skills. New trivia battles happen in this same channel automatically every 8 hours at 12AM, 8AM, and 4PM UTC, so if you miss out on the first battle then don't worry because there will be a lot more coming daily!

As we went near completion, we also took time to make our open areas more fun to explore. We’ve made some minor graphical changes on the bridges and trees on Freymont that we believe better fit the theme and looks more engaging in game.
We’ve also added Mini Yeti in the game that throws snowballs at a fixed angle.
SHOPS AND MINI-GAMES
Challenges and levels sometimes get too hard in Jack Axe, so we’ve also added mini-games into the game so players can take a break from the main quest. Each mini-game will reward the players once a certain goal is reached.

We’ve also added in-game shops that let you personalize Jack in exchange of gold. These shops can be found in every level and offer’s varieties of tint dusts to choose from. Shopkeeper says that it's collected from fairy dust and some are pretty rare to find.
NEW LEVELS
More fun and exciting level awaits you. From snow lands to a hot desert, you will also explore the mystic forest, sparkly beach to the flying ships up the skies.
MINOR CHANGES AND FIXES
Compared to the previous demos, the current game plays differently now. We made sure that all of the players' feedback is taken into consideration. From the characters movement to how the game will be played. We want to offer the best experience possible.
Here are the list of changes we’ve made:
1. Game now supports multiple save slots 2. Added assist mode so players can play however they want or test difficult levels. 3. Bosses now drop triple rune instead of golden coin 4. Runes are now only stored in Fairy portals (previous versions has doors that requires rune to open) 5. Crasher traps should not be able to detect players when line of sight is blocked 6. Blue fish now kills player on contact 7. Changed turtle movement pattern 8. Red key should not be able to unlock all colored blocks 9. Golden scarab now automatically enchants axe with light that enable players to see in the dark. 10. Puzzle blocks can now be reset using reset targets 11. Some in game sounds now can only be heard depending on the source position. Meaning falls or a bullet sounds louder when it’s near. 12. Screenshakes now only plays when inside the camera 13. UI now has an additional text that displays how much gold you’ve gained and spent. 14. Runes are now displayed in numbers instead of icons. It makes the display cleaner and more unified. 15. A short text with an icon now appears when the game is being written and saved.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year, that’s right, it’s the Steam Game Festival! We have been working on a super special demo to test the limits of your axe throwing abilities. As always, we hope you enjoy the experience and can provide us with feedback at our Discord server.
Entry to The God Temple has been forbidden for as long as anyone can remember! Legend says that within the temple is a weapon so mighty that using it could change the world forever! But only the most powerful Warrior with the Truest Heart would be able to wield it and none have been deemed worthy! In the past the unworthy have tried to seize the weapon and each time, calamity has been the response. As a result, the temple has been fortified with thick walls, brutal traps, and filled with dangerous creatures. The unworthy will never be allowed to take the weapon and use it for evil!
Jack
Jack has always been a precocious child. She’s willful, quick witted, and tough as nails. The boys in the village have always found her intimidating and her father despaired at her lack of ladylike decorum. Jack never wanted to be the princess but dreamed of being the knight. Never wanted to be rescued but always wanted to be the hero. Craved adventure not domesticity.
And now. As the wizard Ringles makes his plans to attack the God Temple, Jack’s greatest dreams and deepest fears are coming to fruition.
