From the Developer of Jalopy Comes Landlord's Super
Your quintessential construction simulator is here. Take a dodgy loan, restore a property, move in the locals, attend to their grievances, then celebrate with a pint in this fully-simulated, open-world 1980's Britain.
Landlord's Super, is a First-Person Life-Simulation set in the murky midlands of the British Isle during the polarising years of the 1980s. Build stuff, get drunk, build stuff while getting drunk. Your choice.
<*>Explore the fictional county of West Berklands. Interact with a diverse cast of characters, during the polarising years of the 1980s. An honest insight into 'English Culture'.
<*>The Quintessential Construction Simulator. Order supplies! Mix your own cement! Assemble scaffolding to reach high places! Build walls brick by brick! The most ambitious construction gameplay seen before!
<*>Plan & Execute your actions around the time of day, weather, seasons, world events, union interference and your own well-being. Some days it's better to soak yourself down the pub than risk working in the rain.
<*>Speak the Queen's English! The game is localised in both American English and British colloquialisms.
Landlord's Super. Good things come to those who graft.

Trunk Issue NOW Fixed, Steering Responsiveness Improved
Hello all,
We have just released an update which fixes the trunk issue.
Earlier this month we released a hotfix which we believed to have fixed the issue, but unfortunately this wasn't the case.
There should no longer be any issue with placing items in the trunk, but do keep posting on the forums and letting your voices be heard!
We have also taken the opportunity to tighten up the car steering to make driving feel more responsive.
27 June Patch Notes
- Fixed wine and water bottles preventing players being able to use the inventory
- Prevented item swapping on inventory transitions
- Fixed keys not going into the ignition
- Tightened the car steering so it feels more responsive
Thanks,
The Jalopy Team

New Update Now Live - Stuttering Effect Solved
Hi everyone,
We have noticed a handful of reports from players saying they are experiencing what appears to be a stuttering effect in game. This looks visually like a low frame rate, however the game itself it running at a much higher frame rate.
This issue is caused by a change in how often the physics system updates in the game - this was changed to help optimise the game further on lower end machines, but created a stuttering effect on higher end machines because of the difference between the physics update and the frame rate on screen.
To address this, the physics will now update much quicker in game and should remove stuttering effect.
We have also given the player the ability to further adjust how often this happens with launch options.
However this will make the mouse sensitivity much greater so this may need to be adjusted by the player in game.
Setting Launch Options
- Open your library and locate Jalopy
- Right Click on Jalopy and select "Properties"
- In the general tab, click on "Set Launch Options"
- type in -fixedTime 0.01
- This will trigger the physics at 100 times a second (100fps)
We have also adjusted the default launch options for the game.
The game no longer support opengl and DX11 also will be dropped from the default launch options as this was no longer being utilised.
In place of this you will find alternative launch options which are the following:
Play on low spec PC
Play on high spec PC
These options adjust the physics updates to optimise the game for different types of PCs.
If you have any issues or require further support.
