Achievements, balance improvements, menu update and bug fixes!
Hello everyone! We've released a new update that introduces achievements and has some balancing, improvements, and bug fixes done for Jitsu Squad.
Here is a list of the changes:
Features - You can unlock achievements!
Bug fixes - Fixed demo save incompatibility. - Fixed softlock when pressing start during door transitions. - Crash fixes.
Balancing - Tweaked enemy behaviors. - Revamped resource system. - Introduced fury gain. You gain fury when getting hit. - Introduced guts system. Your defense becomes stronger when you have less health.
Polish - Added new sound effects for the Storm Wolf. - Redesigned menu with better readable fonts.
Optimizations - Decreased game file size

Hello everyone! We've released a new update which has some balancing and bug fixes done for Jitsu Squad. We are also working hard on the new features as well, we will release some footage of that soon!
Here is a list of the changes:
Bug Fixes - Rare crash when Jazz grabs a Ghoul head has been fixed.
Balancing - Players can now grab each other in the sushi bonus stages. - Time in fury mode after doing a fury burst has been increased.
Polish - Added an option to disable full screen flashes. - Added subtitles to cutscenes. - A timer has been added at the end of stages to allow you to grab pickups before advancing to the next stage. - Fixed some spelling mistakes in the movelist. - Increased pickup range of items. This makes it easier to collect/activate them. - Scrolls don't spawn when your character does not need them. - Fixed some enemies that popped into screen out of nowhere. - Added Crush 40's Johnny Gioeli's vocals to the intro screen!🤘

Bug fixes and balance improvements!
Thank you for supporting and playing Jitsu Squad. We really appreciate the warm reception on Steam. We wish to continue to update the game and make Jitsu Squad even better for the player. We have more improvements planned for the future so stay tuned!
Bug Fixes - Game not advancing because Brimstone or Grimstone going offscreen when tagging out. - Memory allocation failed. - Aros walking in the air after getting hit while in the Nuada charge attack.
Balancing - Origami fight has been tweaked to be less overwhelming and more readable. - Reduced armour and health of the Brimstone.
Polish - Added some more visual polish to stages and enemies.

New weapon features, BG animations, balancing & bug fixes.
New Features:
- 1 Up has been added to items - Discord server is now public: https://discord.gg/aJ9Xhxp7 - All weapon pickups now enhance the charaters in some way. (Shout out to Kevin "Toph Bei Fong" Furlow who inspired the idea.)
These are the weapon enhancements:
Hero: Rasetsu Sword - Raises attack level of all attacks, making breaking armor easier. Hayakushin Saber - Increases Max Weapon Gauge. Momoji - Hero can perform one additional Air Tobujin.
Baby: Bombs - Increases Max Weapon Gauge. Green Star - Baby can perform one additional Air Witchcraft. Boomerang - Enhances Chain 1.
Jazz: Blue Destiny - Enhances Amun Hazzard. Morbid Start - Raises attack level of all attacks, making breaking armor easier. Gullimorphous - Jazz can perform an additional Air Jump.
Background updates: Various backgrounds have been updated with new animations. These include:
Sakura Hills Village, Crash Site, River and Dojo Entrance, Castle Hellstorm all stages, Neon Boulevard Streets, Arcade Entrance and Elevator, Yamagiwa Village, Pirate Bay Entrance and Cave.
Boss Balancing All bosses have been rebalanced based on feedback.
Bug Fixes - Tag bug during boss fights, making bosses disappear. (Thanks to Tetsuo9999 (tag combo advocate) for pushing the tag system to it's limits.) - Loading crash on startup (for certain system setups). - Players now don't have to stand still to progress in certain stages (which happened sometimes in multiplayer sessions)
