Johnny's Surprise Family Reunion In Our November Update!
Johnny made it through the maze of subway tunnels to an emergency exit leading up to the subway station. This is where our new level (out on Nov 30th) takes place: beginning in the winding corridors and deserted platforms of the station, and ending with a boss fight on the rooftops of New York.
To Johnny's inconvenience, the new boss can control animals, including Hellhounds. He also happens to be the half-brother that Johnny didn't know he had. Perhaps, in different circumstances, the news would have been welcome.
This update concludes the Subway level - marking our progress at 50% complete - and one more level will be added between this one and the cemetery. As well as adding a new level and a new boss, we've improved our UI and level lighting.
We're incredibly excited to share this level with you! Please let us know what you think, your feedback and support mean the world to us.
Happy gaming :)
Subway lighting bug defeated & other little improvements!
We've finally conquered that pesky bug with our latest patch, added today (Oct 21st)! More details:
- Subway level lighting has been reworked and will no longer malfunction where it previously did
- Subway level lighting is more optimized and should function more efficiently on less powerful devices
- A solution to reduce level load times has been added
- Occasional "blocky" appearance of certain particles has been fixed
- Navigation AI of Golem has been improved
- A level load screen after Subway level intro has been added
We humbly apologize to anyone who's gaming experience was affected by the Subway lighting bug! Try it again now - it's much more fun when you can see, we promise ːsteamhappyː.
As always, thank you for all your precious feedback and support, and keep it coming!
Happy gaming!
The bugfixing continues...
Just to get you guys up to speed: the potentially game-breaking problem we're having is with the lighting (or lack thereof) in the subway tunnels. It only appears to occur on some computers, mainly laptops. So if you're playing the subway level and the tunnels are completely dark, you've fallen victim to this stubborn glitch. But have no fear! We're working like house elves to put it right. ːsteamhappyː
Also, if you've played Johnny Graves before, you'll have to get to the level via Level Select, which you'll find in the menu.
We'll let you know when we've conquered the bug!
We're fixing a potentially game breaking bug ATM!
Soon after publishing the update we found out there's a potentially game breaking bug - almost all of the lights are turned off for some players on the Subway level. We're working on it at the moment, and will upload a patch as soon as possible.
We'll let you know when the bug's been fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Go Back In Time With Johnny In Our October Update!
If you've ever played our game and wondered how exactly Johnny wound up in a zombie-infested cemetery, you'll be pleased to know that our latest update, out on Oct 13th, will help clear that up for you. Remember how things ended after the boss battle with Padre? Well, we're not going into the catacombs just yet - we're going back in time, to the very first level.
This update will take you to the beginning of that fateful night... back to when Johnny was just an ordinary guy in New York, riding the subway one evening to meet a friend. That's when all Hell broke loose, quite literally. After a mysterious subway train accident, Johnny finds himself wandering the ominous underground tunnels alone, trusty revolver in hand. Only, he's not alone. Something caused those trains to crash, and that something was a new monster of ours... a Golem.
There is a gap between this level and the next, which is to be filled with a couple of upcoming patches. Because we've gone back in time, Johnny hasn't discovered any of his special abilities yet. Therefore blink and magic shot are disabled, but don't panic! It's just for this one level. However, Johnny can now walk while shooting, which is a permanent adjustment, and objects in the foreground will no longer interfere with aiming and shooting.
We sincerely hope you enjoy this update! If you have any comments, questions or feedback, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us. We love hearing from you! Happy gaming, dear friends.
