Controller Support

We’ve just released an update for Judge Dredd 95 that adds controller support to the game. To use a controller,
  1. Ensure you have the latest update
  2. Connect a controller to your PC and start the game
  3. From the Main Menu, enter the Configuration menu
  4. From Options, enter the Controls menu
  5. Ensure Joystick is selected and return to the Main Menu
  6. Start the game, a Joystick Calibration screen will appear
If the Joystick Calibration screen does not appear or you’d like to reconfigure calibration,
  1. Return to the Controls menu
  2. Set Keyboard as the active method and return to the Main Menu
  3. Repeat step 3 from above

Remapping Controls

By default, Judge Dredd 95 does not support remapping controls. This can be achieved however through DOSBox,
  1. Connect a controller to your PC and start the game
  2. Enter the Configuration menu and select a Keyboard control scheme, note the inputs and return to the Main Menu
  3. Press Ctrl + F1 to launch the Keymapper screen
  4. Select the Keyboard input you would like to remap to the Controller (i.e., Right Arrow)
  5. Once the key is highlighted, select the Add button and press the button on your controller that you would like to map
  6. Once all inputs are mapped, press the Save button and Exit when complete
  7. From the Main Menu, start the game
This method can also be used to add support for controllers that aren’t supported by the game.
