JugiPaint 1.00
The new version of JugiPaint brings the following new features and tools:
<*>New brush mode: Filter mode. Provided filters are hue/saturation, brightness/contrast and blur. These filters work like ordinary filters (without range parameters), but it is more handy to use them via brushes for local adjustments.
<*>New brush mode: Pixel mode. This mode brings features suitable for brushes used in pixel art.
<*>New tool window: Extra view. An additional view of the active image; allow you to see your work at different zoom levels at the same time.
<*>New filter: Color reduction. As the name suggest this filter allow reducing full color image to smaller palette.
<*>Added brush variants for new brush modes and some retro color swatches.
<*>Various fixes.
JugiPaint 0.99
A new batch of JugiPaint improvements is here and it consists of mixed stuff.
New filters: blur, motion linear blur, motion radial blur, sharpen and unsharp mask.
A new tool called the bucket brush is now available for editing bitmap layers. This hybrid tool works like a freehand brush which perform the bucket color fill. It is a specialization tool which makes a tiresome task of coloring line art (creating color flats) faster and more comfortable.
Automatic saving of autosave files at a specified time interval has been implemented as a safety measure for users like me who are forgeting to save their work regularly.
A new command which can be found in the Edit Menu is Fade. This command fades pixel changes of the last action if such action was performed. It works for all bitmap layer tools which changes pixels (brush, fill, gradient, filters, clear…).
Added three levels of visibility for the rulers and mirror – visible, hidden control markers, fully hidden.
Fixed several bugs causing wrong tools behavior and one particularly nasty bug which could happen when switching between opened images with panels.
JugiPaint 0.98
The latest version of JugiPaint brings:
New tools for bitmap and vector layers - warp brush and warp mesh.
Improved performance of the brush engine with better usage of multithreading.
Various fixes.
The main new feature are warping tools which offer a quick way for reshaping images without drawing or painting. These tools can be very valuable for making corrections and various image adjustment. JugiPaint now offer two warping tools – the warp brush and the warp mesh. The warp brush is suitable for general editing and works like a freehand, brush like, tool. The warp mesh works by adjustment of the mesh grid vertexes and is more suitable for reshaping bigger parts of an image. Both tools are available for bitmap layers, vector layers and layers groups.
