Summary


Youtuber FiFqo recently released a video of him playing the Hardmode Dragon, and encountered several bugs that I have fixed with this update! I apologize for the bugs, and have fixed some other bugs I found as well!

Bug Fixes



  • Fixed Doused_FIreball colliding with the Peacock game crash.
  • Fixed missing text reference, on Hardmode Dragon completion for all languages.
  • Peacock now correctly displays health if hit during head rip-off animation.
  • Hardmode Dragon can now be completed in all languages. (Fixed a game crash error)
  • Fixed Bog shader error on Pause Event.
  • Fixed game_crash on Pause Event in Bog Level 1.
  • Fixed game_crash on JttW Completion in other languages.

V1.8 Boomerang Checkpoints

Hey everyone!

Intro


Got a small update for everyone! After much deliberation, I've decided to add checkpoints for each of the Boomerang levels. So hopefully that'll help more people get past them! I've also added some fog effects in the Bog levels, this is the first of many punishments that will be added to the Bog levels. As well as I roughly implemented a hot potato idea in the Bog at Max Punishment.

This month I am going to spend entirely working on the Hardmode Time Wizard. I'm looking to finish and release him by the end of this month. So I'll try my best.

As for the Bee Level and the Anime-Themed level, I'm going to put those on the backburner for now, I don't really like what I have for them yet, so I'm going to subject them to my Patrons soon and have them playtest it until we get something we all like.

V1.7 OLD RUST BOSS & NEW CHECKPOINTS FOR ALL LEVELS

Hey everyone!

Intro


First off I'd like to thank my playtesters. They helped me find a ton of bugs, and as a result I patched a bunch of broken stuff this update. Second off I'd like to thank my Patreon Supporters, I'm a bit behind on content for the poll currently, and I appreciate their support, and most of all, their patience. I also have been watching a bunch of playthrough videos on BilliBilli of the game, and have been reading the comments on those videos which has helped motivate me a ton as well as better understand what levels are the most entertaining, so thank you! And if you are reading this, thank you, for being interested in my strange little game.

Update V1.7



  • New Easymode Boss Fight: Old Rust
  • Slovak Language Support
  • Checkpoints for every Easymode Level (If you already had some unlocked, they will be automatically converted into the new system)
  • Checkpoints for every Journey to the West Level.
  • Checkpoints for all three Halloween Levels.
  • Added some turnips to the Cop and Infantry levels in the beginning of the game as well as I added the ability to pickup and throw them.

I've spent a lot of time working on these two commission levels. An awesome person reached out to me about two months ago, and commissioned me to produce levels mocking the Slovak Streamer Fifqo. Originally it was only going to be a single level, but halfway through working on Old Rust, Fifqo got into a scooter accident, and broke a bunch of his ribs. So naturally, I had to mock that. So now we have the Scooter level, as well as the originally commissioned Old Rust Boss fight!

I also decided to make my game a bit less frustrating and added checkpoints for all the levels in the game.

I've also spent a bunch of time working on Patreon content as well, so look forward to that content shortly, I will be uploading it as soon as I finish it.

V1.5 Changelog



  • Added part 1 (of 2) of the Commissioned Level
  • Added new signs to the Fun Mall Building for their respective floors.
  • Small hat tweening/tweaks. Tried to fix a bunch of little details. Like when you throw the Iron Ball the hat flies off, or if you are sitting the hat is in the correct position.
  • Reduced Bog Ragdoll to Standup Timer from 1 second to 1/3 a second (and more accurate). Which makes the player feel more controllable and quicker to standup.
  • Armor is now represented in ragdoll form in the Bog
  • Using the Escape Menu within the Halloween Levels, will now return you to the Fun Mall instead of the Title Screen.


V1.4, +1 Level, No Time Wizard Just Yet, Bug Fixes

I added a new level, after the boomerang level, but before the Bog levels (I also added a checkpoint to it). I did a ton of bug fixes, if you'd like to see exactly what was done, check the end of this announcement.

Also I'm swapping over to numbers for updates now. I know this isn't technically what I had planned for V1.4 so many months ago, but I can't bring myself to use another letter in the update haha.

Hey Everyone!

I'm releasing this small update a bit early. I have more stuff I want to add to the bog levels, but I also wanted to give you guys something to play, so I released it ahead of time. After taking into consideration a recent review, I decided to add a checkpoint right before the Boomerang levels. If you already have the Easymode Achievement, the new Bog Level will be accessible in the Easymode Level Select. I also added a character/enemy when you skip the Infinite Bridge joke by immediately going left (The Oracle Slayer).
