July devlog: Introducing New Mechanics and Weapon Model in Junkienator!
Hello everyone!
Wow, it's incredible that almost 5 months have passed since our last update here on Steam, but don't worry, we're here! We've been hard at work developing Junkienator, and we wanted to give you a quick update to keep you in the loop.
As you know, developing a game requires a lot of dedication, especially when there are only two people on the team. So, in this short devlog, we want to share some additional information about what to expect from the final version of Junkienator, which is going to be truly epic!
What have you been doing these past months?
Well, we've mainly focused on the levels, introducing new mechanics that were already in the works during the demo but hadn't been included yet. Additionally, we've listened to some incredibly talented professionals, including game designers and art directors, who have helped us polish and solidify the game even further.
Ah, but what's behind that darn door?
Unfortunately, we can't reveal that just yet. However, we can tell you that the story in the demo is only a small taste of what awaits you in the full version. But we'll let you in on a secret: our game will take place over the course of approximately one week, during which you'll accompany our favorite janitor in his adventurous life. This allowed us to structure the levels as true "days," almost like chapters in his story. Each day, you'll experience his life from waking up to well-deserved sleep.
But is there anything you can show us?
Absolutely! In fact, we have two things to share with you. The first one is the new weapon model, which was a direct result of some mechanics we introduced in the game but can't reveal just yet (oops). So, here it is, and who knows... maybe you'll be able to guess the new mechanics associated with this weapon.
Now, let's move on to the second thing we'd like to show you: the new grab mechanic! You'll now be able to pick up objects, reposition them, throw them, or simply leave them on the ground. This mechanic was born from our desire to give you more control in the game's offices and make you feel like real janitors! Hey, those books won't put themselves back on the shelves, right?
And that concludes our devlog. We hope these extra details have piqued your curiosity even more about the full game. Stay tuned, keep following us on social media, and please ADD US TO YOUR STEAM WISHLIST! (Sorry if I shouted a bit too loudly there, enthusiasm got the best of me!)
Get ready to join the junk party!
Get ready to join the junk party! We're thrilled (and a bit scared) to participate in SteamNextFest and can't wait for you to try the Junkienator demo. Let us know what you think!

Here's when the demo will be available!
We haven't heard from you in a while, but we have good news! The demo is coming up, and by a lot too. We will be present at the Steam Next Fest in February 2023, so the demo will be playable for everyone on February 6, 2023.
We are really super anxious to let you play a little piece of what the full game will be and we look forward to reading your feedback, with all that goes with it. Obviously everything you let us know will be super helpful not only in providing you with a better experience for the demo, but also for the final game!
To celebrate this little event we have prepared a new video, to better show the "darker" side of our game.
Merry Christmas everybody!
Offices are closed today, but someone has to keep on working so everything will be clean when you come back!
Merry Christmas everybody!
We are approaching our release date for the demo, we are working really hard to make your experience as appealing as possibile! Stay tuned for more news in the near future!
Devlog #2: notes and a small preview from a new area
Screenshots, screenshots, screenshots!
While waiting for more juicy updates, we wanted to show you some small previews of what will be one of the many levels in the game: an office! Well not that this is new to be honest...
A very important part of the game will also be your notebook, where you can often find useful tips, help, and maybe even notes that not everyone should read...
Little extras
But that's not all, in fact here we would like to show you another image, still a work in progress, of the protagonist's house. This place will be very important for the advancement of the main story, a house that we could almost consider as a co-protagonist, apart from cloths and brooms of course...

Our first devblog
This is our first dev update! The team is still processing the whole succession of events that led to the opening of the steam page, to the first wishlists, and now to our first periodic update. A strange feeling of nervousness mixed with the happiness of finally publishing our product on Steam. But now let's move on to why we're here: Development updates!
Night area
What we want to show you today is a small outdoor area, set at night, with what looks like a door to a basement. This area will precede your very first job as a cleaner. Damn! They forgot to give you the keys... well of course we can't postpone this job, there will surely be a way to enter, right?
