News for Just Ignore Them!
I have read the comments from my previous announcement and I was surprised by everyone liking the game the way it is. But, I am planning to patch the game adding extra dialogue, fixing all grammar issues, updating graphics slightly (to look like Just Ignore Them 2 Demo), more music and sounds. I'm just unsure when that will be. I have been working on it in my spare time so rest easy!
Remake Just Ignore Them? Or a New Game?
What I plan to do is to just remodel the original Just Ignore Them. But if I do I may add an extra dollar or 2 to the price just for the amount of work I'd be doing.
What are your thoughts? Have any ideas you would like to see in the remake? Or should I even remake the game? OR Make a completely new game with a new concept and story?
JIT2 Development halted( But also Good News) + Patreon
As the title mentioned, Just Ignore Them 2 development will be halted for a while. The main reason is because unlike Just Ignore Them 1 the story will be written first before further development is made. I'm working on making the story less confusing and more in depth with the main characters and less backstory.
BUT! I have some other good news! I am working on another game!
The new game is something that I've wanted to do for a while and learn new things with the engine. It will not be a point and click game but a keyboard controller RPG Maker-LIKE game (Not made in RPG Maker btw).
I will be adding all my development progress to my new Patreon page with info and screens of the development process to my games. Plus, for more generous backers, access to early alpha builds and betas!

Game and Demo Updated! (Please Read!)
This is just a quick small update to both the game and the demo.
For the update to take effect, start a new game.
Update includes:
- The Game and Demo's moving and animation mechanics have been fixed to
look smooth and faster rather than slow and choppy.
- You can now skip the black screen text Cutscenes by pressing [Esc]
- A few grammatical errors have also been fixed.

Major Update 1 Released! Please Read!
There have been some changes that I said would be in the update which are due to some translation errors that I am trying to work out. However, I have the first update live which does include the following:
- Turkish Translation!
- A new text editing system plus an overhaul on the grammar and spelling for the English translation.
- Quick finish game glitch bug fixed!
- Main Menu redesign for...y'know...extra stuff.
- 2 secret Items for Extra Content Update (Coming Soon!)
- A few other bug fixes
IF GAME SAVES ARE NOT WORKING SEE BELOW
Now, your current saves will no longer work BUT you can make them work by rolling back the version of the game by doing the following!
In your games library right clik Just Ignore Them and go to properties and go to betas. Use the dropdown box and go to rollback (No password needed). You will now be able to access your old saved games :).
Major Update Coming Next Week!
This will be the first Major update for Just Ignore Them! This update will include an overhaul on a few things including spelling, grammar and bugs!
NEW DIALOGUE EDITING SYSTEM
I have implimented a new system that will allow me to easily and quickly edit
dialogue text without corrupting saves.
NEW FEATURE
There will be a new extended story feature added. To access it, you must find
the tape recorder in the game after the update.
THE BAD NEWS
Unfortunately all previous save games will corrupt after the Major
Update. This is due to the engine not being able to read new things that I've added to the game. HOWEVER, I will be making a
"Rollback" Version which will be accessible in the steam settings which you'll be able to use your old saves.
I don't have an exact date for the update, but all the ground work and about 90% of the update is done. If you guys have any questions please post them here, I'd be happy to answer them :)
Save Game not working Solution!

I want to let you all know about my progress on the next update which is going well. I've been busy with work and family which is why I haven't had time to work on the game or Brea's story. But I've recently made time to work on games for a few weeks.
Also, I wanted everyone's opinion on either Brea's Story or Just Ignore Them 2. I'm very keen on making either, but either one would take a fair amount time to make. But if I make one, eventually I'll make the other.
I want to know (or help on a decision) which one should I make.

Black Screen on Startup Fix!
BUT! There is a small fix to run the game perfectly in a variety of different sized windows. All you need to do is run the game from steam. You will then be presented with the external game settings box (below). All you need to do is check the run game in a window box. That's it! It should run fine after this.
P.S If the game still does not run, please leave a post in the Bugs Discussions forum and I will help you there.
