Fixed an issue that Courtroom notepad sometimes showed key dialogues from the previous courtroom or current discovery Notepad was limited to a number of key dialogues and was not scrollable. It now scales according to need.
The 4th case is finally here!!! Kept you waiting huh? Sorry for the bad joke…… The 4th case was supposed to be ready weeks ago. We want to apologize for the delay, there were a lot of unexpected bugs were found during the test. Because this case's text is as many as the 3rd case, we need to check lots of dialogue nodes, and make sure every node to connected correctly.
The new case is about Satet, a chill AI who thinks other AI might need help relaxing. This is why she designs... software, let’s say, to relax some operational parameters. Government busybodies, however, consider her software a drug and decides to come after her.

Courtroom sim game Justie.EXE early access now is on!
Greetings, fellow attorneys!
After two years of development by two guys, today Justice.EXE early access is officially released on Steam. Justice-X server now is up and running, we can not wait to see attorneys use it to defend AI's rights!
There will be a 20% discount during the first week of the game's release.
Justice.EXE is a narrative text-heavy game focused on stories about AIs caught in law disputes. You need to talk to your client to find crucial leads and arguments to use in the courtroom, and study arguments to build a strong case profile. Toe to toe with the opposing counsel, use your wits and skullduggery to win the case. Remember, choice of words can affect the fate of your AI clients.
Now the game is in early access, we are working hard to improve and make new content for the game. We are happy to hear from you, and we will take your advice seriously.
Join our community, we are always online and happy to discuss with you guys!
We're happy to announce that we're attending Summer Game Carnival, it's a series of events held by BiliBili from June 9th to July 9th, which will have multiple game showcases as well as demo trials.
Furthermore, we'll keep the demo on Steam for everyone to have a try, and we're working on more content for the later release. Don't forget to wishlist it and follow us!
Sorry attorneys! Justice.EXE is delayed, but it won't be long!
Hello fellow attorneys! After some crunch days, we have come to the conclusion that the early access release should be delayed. It was a hard call, sorry to bring the bad news at the last minute😥. Please hear us out! We are preparing for a better release, we just finished the stable English version of the game a couple of days ago. We need some time to test it, we want to deliver a bug-free game! Due to the nature of this game, we need to polish the script and check the dialogue tree (It's more like a net). We need to make sure every dialogue won't go to a dead end and breaks the game.
The localization of not ready yet, we will use this period of time to polish localization! Apologize again for the delay! We really worked hard on this game, we are hoping to deliver the game in its finest condition!
Justice.exe's Kickstarter page is on!
The Kickstarter Page is ON! Back us here: Kickstarter
After two years of developing(And tons of coffee consuming), in this time we've come very far! We've built the core mechanics. But we are just two guys, there are still a lot work left to do. Here is our road map: If you like the game and our ideas, please go to our Kickstarter page and back us, help us to make this happen! You can join our Discord Channel to talk to the devs, share your ideas!
Demo Update
Hello fellow [NON-AI PERSONS]
We have updated the demo with the new courtroom system. You might have seen the moral pentagons that imply the moral perception of jurors and moral impact of arguments. They are now implemented in demo. So, you can do more jury manipulation with less number tracking.
You can see for yourself because tutorial scenario can be played till the end now. However, there is still no courtroom tutorial. So, here is a clue for you: align your morals with the jury.
Have fun! (or don’t, your call, you probably have free will)
Improved Court is Here
A lot of people asked for a courtroom tutorial after the demo fest and we kept delaying it. Designing a simple and not unimaginably boring tutorial became an ordeal. Other tasks took over and courtroom tutorial was kinda pushed to back of the queue.
When we recently came back to tackle that beast, we realized court room was difficult. Justice.exe does not promise an easy game at all but courtroom was DIFFICULT; it was a black hole of numbers changing around player and almost impossible to understand.
First we had to get rid of constant need to track a bunch of small numbers.
We added a pentagonal UI element (one moral per side) and they are color coded (reddish; low, greenish; high). Now, you can still see magnitude of morals as numbers while selecting an argument but you can also rely only on color coded bars.
Next, we transferred same system to jurors.
Jurors' moral perception are now color coded as your argument morals (reddish; prefers that moral low, greenish; prefers that moral high), and there are no numbers to track. So, you can get a quick impression of how your argument aligns with jurors' morals at a glance.
Also, there was small issue of winning a court instance with a randomized jury. We have provided generic abilities to manipulate jury so that even if you are dealt a very bad hand of jurors, you still have the chance to win if you play strategically. Some of those abilities are good early on, to get a sense of what jurors are like.
Some of them are good towards the end, to extract maximum good will from jurors.
We will update new courtroom UI and mechanics in demo build when we are sure it's not going to break anything.
