And my word, what a ride it has been!
Thank you once again to everyone who played my game! Thanks for the reviews, the emails, the community works, thanks for it all! To celebrate the occasion, I've added a small little new content update for those who have the Gratitude Pack or Extra Cool Edition (due to it requiring the soundtrack files).
Introducing Quiet Mode: If you've beaten the game and own the soundtrack, a new icon will appear on your menu! This icon will take you to the Saturday night scene, except with no dialogue. By default, the little red speaker will now be playing the soundtrack, but if you drag your own .ogg or .wav files into the new 'Custom Songs' folder, you can now chill out to your own personal playlist!
I hope some of you find use for it, as it's been an idea I've been toying with for awhile, mainly as a sort of virtual de-stresser with no pressure involved. And yes, it works for VR!
Things to note:
The Custom Songs folder be found in the game's install directory after running it once
Unfortunately, only .wav and .ogg are supported, due to limitations in the engine. If requested, there's possibility others could be added in the future.
The Katie OST now contains a folder with all the songs in .ogg format :]
As well as the new content, I've finally gotten around enhancing to the VR movement system and fixing some major bugs! (And hopefully not adding too many new ones)
Fixes:
The swing no longer changes your size
MAJOR FIX* (took me long enough)
VR audio was flipped left to right so I flipped it back. I think it's right this time.
There was a small weird white plane outside the school? Anyways, it's gone now.
VR teleportation is now less of a toss-up on where you'll actually end up
VR Improvements:
You can now turn by pressing left and right on the thumb-pad of the left-hand!
You can now point to the menu buttons, instead of physically touching them!
Teleportation range has been vastly shortened, so you aren't constantly ending up out of bounds across the map. :b

Or, at least, the final planned update.
I teased this many months ago, and it's finally finished! The Distance update adds in some final secret post-game content. To begin the hunt for this chapter, simply finish the game! For those who have already beaten it, simply reaching the credits should allow you to begin the search.
I'm quite happy with the weird little thing I made here, and hope you guys enjoy it! It's... a bit of a different tone, but one I wholly enjoyed making!

Katie going to BostonFIG + Update!
Small update today in preparation for Katie being showcased at BostonFIG this Saturday!
Changes:
- Now prompted to quit on pressing 'escape' [long overdue]
- Opening logo is back [bug]
- New song playing in record store!
That last change is in preparation for the long overdue update, which will add some hidden post-game content! And with this new content comes a new musician, so make sure to stop by and see if you can catch it playing!
KATIE VR HAS ARRIVED
That's right, ladies and gentlemen! Katie has been reworked to be entirely playable on the HTC Vive! Simply launch the game through SteamVR and revisit the town like never before! Or like... in a more immersive way than before!
For the majority of you without headsets, I made the update as lightweight as possible, so the VR part of the build should take up a few extra MBs at most.

Supermarket Mesh Fix (August 21, 2018)
Apparently the interior of the Supermarket has been glitched since the last update. :/
Thanks to some sporadic bug testers, this issue has been found and solved, and the shelves will no longer appear to float.
UPDATE: I know it's been a while since I mentioned it, but the 'secrets update' has a direction and progress. It won't detract from the story, but should provide bonus content and additive plot.
First Official Patch! (June 13, 2018)
Long time, no see!
To prep for the big, free, and upcoming 'SECRETS UPDATE', I wanted to patch a few issues that I have noticed, and some pointed out to me by the community. I know it sounds kinda lame, but this is my first official 'patch notes', and I'm kinda psyched. So without further ado:
Fixes:
Ideas (aka: citizens) no longer can be talked to through walls
You can no longer get stuck on the dock on Thursday
Rainclouds now always appear and disappear when they should
Ideas no longer get stuck by the swingset
Fixed a visual issue near the clifftops
Katie should no longer fail to talk at times if you stay in her vicinity
Katie sits properly on her log on the final day
Changed an "it's" to an "its" (MAJOR)
Katie won't stop and 'wait for the player' if the player is ahead of her
probably some other stuff

Katie Launches
It's been a crazy few weeks, interspersed between exams and general business, but Katie is done!
... or is it?
I'm very proud with how Katie is in its current state, and am very happy I can share it with you! However, I have more planned, but no time to do it for a few weeks. So, whilst Katie is in a finished state, prepare yourselves for updates to come.

1 Week Until Launch!
After months of hard work it's down to the final week, and boy is it a process.
But a process I wholly believe to be worth it. I'll be working night and day to make sure Katie is the best version it can be upon launch! I look forward to sharing what I've made with the world, and hope that you guys will appreciate it in return! :D
