Hotfix for V0.4
Here are list of bug fixes we made throughout the weekend. We're trying to fix the issues you've sent as quickly as possible. Thanks to everyone who are contributing to better the game <3
- Fixed Ketchup missing on french fries
- Fixed Yoghurt and BBQ sauce missing on market
- Fixed unlock issue with Chicken Leg recipe on Co-Op
- Fixed Chicken Leg at Butcher shop seems locked on some cases.
- German localization issues
- Fixed recipe HUD on Master Chef Arena mode
- Fixed animation problems on Master Chef Arena
- Fixed items on plate disappear after plate gets broken.
- Fixed eyebrows issue on female characters

Small Hotfix for tutorial progression issue
Another quick hotfix has been just patched for the issue where selling furnitures step on tutorial won't progress and lock the game progression.
Also fixed a bug where a knife just flies around the restaurant

Pizza lovers, rejoice! We’ve fully revamped our pizza recipes and visuals to deliver the tastiest and most authentic pizza making experience.
Also we've added brand new pizza recipes you can unlock by mastering your pizza making skills! Of course, we couldn't think of a Kebab Chefs without the Kebab Pizza!
You can now unlock these new Pizza recipes:

🍽️ MENU SYSTEM REVAMPED
One of the things that we've not been favoring about Kebab Chefs was preparing a menu for the day. It's cool to have a daily menu every day. But the problem with the current menu system was that it was being quite dull. There were no parameters or conditions that can influence the way we prepare our daily menu.
That's why we felt the need to give a purpose for creating a menu every day. This is where food tags come in!
Bakery - Chicken - Fast Food - Kebab - Luxury - Pizza - Soup - Vegetarian - World Cuisine
Now we have all of our recipes tagged with 9 relative culinary categories and their unlock progression over those tags.
Also each of these tags have their unique menu bonuses which you can combine and benefit from! You can find the current bonus table on the left side of your menu.
You can unlock new recipes by leveling up each category on it's own!
What About Already Existing Saves?
As you know, Kebab Chefs is still in early access and can still may get save resetting features until the full release. But it's not the case now.
We also made a merging between the old and new system that can predict the levels on each category according to your game progress. So you can just continue from where you left off. But you're always welcome to start a new run to get the full new experience!

Ever felt the urge to dramatically slam down a plate after a stressful service? Now you can! Plates and Beer mugs are now fully destructible! Whether it’s an accident or just a burst of kitchen rage, shattering ceramics has never looked or sounded so satisfying.
Just be careful... broken dishes don’t clean themselves. 😉

We were running short of perks as we changed some game mechanics over the time. But we're back with another set of perks you can utilize! Let us know if you have more perk ideas!

- Fixed issue with deep fryers not frying objects added on top of other fries.
- Fixed issues with foods taken from service counter looks raw.

DEVLOG 2025.1 | OUR NEW GAME AT STEAM NEXT FEST
We've been silently working on our Roadmap as we shared in our anniversary post. We are excited to show you what've been cooking for a while.
While we continue to work on improving and adding new features for Kebab Chefs, we also extend our operations by publishing a new game on Steam!
HELLBREAK
We are thrilled to announce our new game HELLBREAK which has a demo available on Steam right now! It will have a huge update, and a new map playable for upcoming Steam Next Fest event!

What's Cookin Inside The Kitchen?
Now it's time to step inside the kitchen to see what's cookin!
New Pub Game
We are adding a new game that will create funny moments for your spare time at bar! Now you will be able to play horse racing while sipping your drinks. It's almost done and will be included in the upcoming update.
Controller Support
We are almost there for a complete controller + steam deck experience for Kebab Chefs! You can see some of the ingame screenshots with controller gameplay. I think it suits very well with our game! You didn't hear from me but Kebab Chefs with a controller is very intuitive and different experience!
New Menu System
We felt like our current menu system was very plain and had some shortcomings. We are enhancing our menu system for a whole different gameplay to help players create more effective menus. Think of it as a dynamic way to optimize your restaurant for different customer types and trends!
We are planning to introduce 9 different food tags, each with its own benefits and challenges. And just like a real restaurant, trends will shift over time, meaning the best combinations won't stay the same forever!
This system will encourage chefs to continuously adapt, experiment, and find the best synergy for their customers and the changing seasons. We can’t wait to share more details soon!
Pizza Overhaul & New Pizza Recipes
As mentioned above, Pizza's will have it's own tag. So we said "there should be more pizzas!". As a part of our new menu system, we are adding even more pizza recipes with more variety and ingredients! You will be able to use sauces and meats for your pizza recipes now. Also we made some visual improvements for our existing pizza recipes.

Your interest in Kebab Chefs since the release was a total blast! As a small team, we had to deal with so many things and we learnt from this process a lot. We expanded our team. Improved our operations. And we are ready for another year with full of Kebabs!

I would like to say that this roadmap only contains the new features that will be added to game and not the improvements for the existing mechanics. I will also share a list of improvements for the current state of the game below as well!
List of improvements to be done in this year:
- UI adjustments for widescreen resolutions
- Navigation improvements for waiter AI
- Additional tasks for waiter AI (e.g Replacing plates to plate cabinet)
- Easier ways for carrying multiple items
- Recipe guides to be simplified with visual icons

Small Bug-Fix patch
Here with another small fix update. We are working on some improvements and small corrections until the next patch.
- Fixed issue with the backdoor at the first restaurant get stuck and won't open.
- Fixed a bug where some ingredients for salads get "undercooked" feedback when they are rated.

🛠️ HOTFIX FOR LOADING SCREEN & SAVING ISSUES
We've been investigating the issues on saving the game progression and getting stuck at loading screen on some cases. This issue must have started occuring after the recent update. These problems are fixed now. Sorry for the interruption on your culinary adventure.

Small Patch for v0.3
As you may realized, it's almost one year since the early access release of Kebab Chefs! As we are getting closer to the anniversary, we are preparing a new roadmap for 2025!
We've prepared a batch of fixes and changes following the holiday update.
Here are the full list of changes:
- Fixed issues with customers getting stuck to each other inside or outside of the restaurant.
- Fixed an issue where some of the recipes are getting lower rating points than they should.
- Fixed an issue with players can't see rating screen for Beet Kebab.
- Fixed texture issues with Gourmet Leonardo's paintings.
- Doors now open automatically when you walk over them.
- Removed Holiday event (It's still snowing!)
