Mountain DLC: The missing message that you need to activate the Mountain DLC to play it has been added.
Animals: A bug that was accidentally introduced with the last update has been fixed. Animals are now registered at multiple points, which should help improve system performance.
Zombie DLC: A similar bug that caused constant twitching of the zombies has been fixed. The zombies should now move normally again.
There is still an issue with the T-pose in the Zombie DLC, which will be fixed in a future update.
Workbench: The solar panel component has been added for placement. However, I made a small mistake, and this component was accidentally removed from the workbench.
You can now use it again.
General: In the meantime, several minor updates have been released to fix additional issues and make a few adjustments.

Mountain Map, Vehicle Upgrade, Snow Return, Adjustments and Performance
Hello KeepUp Survival Community,
Last update: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1524630/view/4597700312703971166
Mountain Map: You can now play on the new Mountain Map. I hope you'll enjoy this map as much as I do! I'm especially happy that it's more performance-friendly, offering a smoother gameplay experience.
Snow: The snow, which had been temporarily disabled due to a bug, is back! You can once again enjoy a snow-covered landscape.
Vehicle: The vehicle has also received a performance upgrade. You’ll now be able to climb mountains more easily and move faster.
Animals: I've also adjusted the animals to improve performance.
Crafting: You can now craft coils and capacitors to complete your electronic components.
Ladder Climbing: The camera collision when climbing ladders has been slightly adjusted, so the camera no longer clips through obstacles.
Translations: I’ve adjusted some translations, and more improvements will follow in the future.
Fans: The fans now have a tooltip explaining their function, as some players have previously overlooked them.
Lost Island: Lost Island has also received some adjustments. In addition to the small bunkers, extensive overhauls have been made to improve performance. Unfortunately, the bug causing the performance issues is still difficult to identify, and it is currently unclear what exactly is causing this error.
Additionally, I’ve fixed minor issues and made a few adjustments.

many of you have been eagerly awaiting the new free map. There have been a few delays, but I am working hard to make this map available to you as soon as possible.
I plan to release the map within the next 1 to 2 weeks. You can easily activate it by downloading the free DLC, which will give you access to the map.
While the map won't be as large as Lost Island, it will be highly detailed and offer significantly better performance. It’s especially ideal for multiplayer due to the shorter loading times. In comparison, Lost Island has more issues in the beta multiplayer mode.
Here are some screenshots to give you a first impression:
Thank you for your support and interest in my game. Your feedback and suggestions are invaluable to me in improving and developing the game experience. I truly appreciate your patience and dedication!

Last update: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1524630/view/4597700312703971166
UnStuck
UnStuck is now executed using the Enter key and applies to both the character and vehicles.
Character
A bug was introduced that was triggered by using the horse. This prevented proper climbing after using the horse. This bug has now been fixed. From now on, there should be no more issues in this regard.
Character Animation
The eating animation was not executed correctly; this has now been fixed.
Weapons – Reload and Scope
An animation bug that occurred when climbing and reloading simultaneously, leading to an infinite loop, has been fixed.
An additional scope has been added. Previously, you could craft a holographic scope but couldn’t use it. It is now usable.
HUD
Some additional hints for HUD hotkeys have been added.
Headlamp
Many didn’t realize that the flashlight could be used without equipping it, as long as it was in the inventory.
From now on, a prompt will appear in the bottom right corner when you have a flashlight in your inventory.
Paraglider
When using the paraglider in combination with a wall, the character would sometimes attempt to climb. This issue has now been fixed.
Helicopter
When entering the helicopter, the weapon is now holstered and no longer visible.
Collisions have been adjusted, as the character could unintentionally climb onto the helicopter.
Hotkeys can now be hidden while flying (Key H).
A display issue in the first-person view of the helicopter has been fixed. This issue occurred when entering the helicopter in first-person mode and then switching to third-person view.
An UnStuck prompt has been added.
Vehicle
There were instances where the store box was lost when driving off. This has now been fixed. Please note that this box does not have a save option.
The vehicle now has a feature that makes a decision for exiting when overturned to prevent falling through the map.
Items
The appearance of collectible stones in the open world has been changed to make it easier to distinguish which stones can be picked up.
Animals
Collision settings for all animals have been adjusted. The introduction of the climbing feature caused unintended effects, allowing players to climb on animals. This problem has been resolved.
Collision settings for companions have also been updated.
Additionally, several minor issues have been resolved and adjustments made.

Some of you have experienced issues with understanding the HUD. To address this, adjustments have been made. Visible icons for keybindings have been added in specific areas and uses, and overall HUD visuals have been improved.
Helicopter controls have also been better highlighted, including in the build menu and the companion system.
Companion
Some players reported key overlaps when the companion was active. New keybindings have now been assigned for the companion controls.

I’d like to address the current review situation of my game. As many of you know, it’s a sandbox survival game with base-building elements that has consistently been rated between "Mixed" and "Positive" overall.
Recently, however, an unusual pattern has emerged: There has been an increase in negative reviews from players with only 0.2 hours of playtime (about 6 to 20 minutes) who often refund the game shortly after purchasing – particularly during the 80% discount sale when the game was priced at 2 dollars. Many of these reviews mention bugs but remain vague without providing specific details. Even when I directly ask for clarification in the reviews, I receive no responses.
Of course, there will always be players who don’t enjoy the game – which is perfectly normal. However, the current pattern raises some questions.
This situation has made me and some players wonder, as I’ve received messages from people who are puzzled by the sudden surge in negative reviews and can’t quite understand it. I want to emphasize that I take reviews very seriously and always try to address feedback to help or improve the game. Supporting the community and continuing to develop the game is very important to me.
Perhaps this is just a temporary phase, but I must take it seriously. As an indie developer working alone, such phases can have significant consequences, as a game often struggles to recover from them.
Maybe it’s something in the game itself, maybe there are misunderstandings, or perhaps it’s just not a game for everyone. In any case, I am very interested in understanding what I can do better. Your constructive feedback is incredibly valuable for the continued development of the game.
If you have been playing the game for a while and have any thoughts or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share them. Any kind of feedback is valuable and helps in further developing and improving the game.
Thank you for your support and interest in my game. Your feedback and suggestions are invaluable in improving and advancing the gaming experience. I appreciate your patience and engagement!

I'm excited to inform you that another update has been implemented, bringing additional improvements and changes.
Last Update: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1524630/view/4228398800942384400
Vehicle Saving:
In the last update, an issue with vehicle saving was discovered and has now been fixed. You will need to pick up your vehicles again from their original locations and save them afterward.
Sound Issue:
A sound issue when jumping with the female character has been resolved. Occasionally, a male voice would play due to a malfunction in the sound system, which has now been corrected. Additionally, an incorrect sound effect when walking on different materials has been replaced.
Climbing Issue After Using the Horse:
A problem with climbing after using the horse couldn't be fully resolved in the short time available. I ask for a bit more patience. This issue only affects the TPP view.
Additional Adjustments and Fixes:
Further minor issues have been fixed, and some adjustments have been made.
Flashlight:
The tooltip for the flashlight has been updated, as the wrong key was shown. The flashlight can either be held or kept in the inventory and still be used with the 'L' key, leaving both hands free.

I’m excited to announce that another update has been released, bringing additional improvements and changes.
A helicopter has been added.
The flashlight no longer wobbles when running.
The stance and carrying position of the torch have been improved.
You can now climb over small and large obstacles.
The jump animation has been reworked.
The overall posture of the character has been optimized.
Animation transitions have been made smoother.
Adjustments have been made to the first-person view (more to follow).
Upon request, the camera position while riding the horse has been raised slightly, as there were occasional issues with blocked visibility. Improvements have been made.
Certain elements of the HUD, such as the interaction display, are now hidden when using the horse or paraglider.
The paraglider sound has been adjusted so that it now gradually increases during use instead of playing immediately at full volume.
The vehicle camera has been fixed, and the issue with the camera twisting has been resolved.
The starting positions on Lost Island, Red Desert, and Tropical Island have been reworked.
The crashed plane has been added to Red Desert and Tropical Island.
Optimizations
Due to poor performance, particularly on Lost Island, adjustments were made. Unfortunately, these did not yield the desired results, so only parts of the performance improvements have been implemented. More will follow.
The current focus is on balancing the workload between the GPU and CPU. At the moment, the GPU is handling most of the work.
Many are wondering why the performance isn’t meeting expectations. KeepUp Survival is based on the current UE5 engine, which is designed for the next generation. Unfortunately, optimizations to improve performance don’t always go as planned and often don’t bring the desired results.
To counter this, FSR 3 was introduced in a previous update, which doubles the framerate, allowing for a smoother experience on older hardware systems.
Data Restructuring
Adjustments have been made to better sort and prioritize data. This is intended to help reduce load times and improve performance.
These changes will allow future updates to be managed more efficiently and will also reduce data shifting on Steam.
Gamepad
Due to high demand for full gamepad support, I am working on fulfilling this request. Unfortunately, this is not going completely smoothly. The main issue currently is implementing full controller support, which is being hindered by the drag-and-drop feature. For unexplained reasons, certain functions aren’t being adopted as expected. Forcing drag-and-drop with the gamepad makes the functions work as desired but causes issues with the mouse.
I wanted to highlight this issue to show that I’m working on it and striving to introduce this feature.
Bug Fixes
Numerous other small bugs have been fixed.
