The main items updated as as follows:
/ Update Information has been added to the title screen. This can be viewed with cleared saved data and allows the user to check the game's updates to date.
/ Saved data switching and overwriting of other data have been implemented. Up to 30 saved data can now be saved and switched. Please see "Update Information" for details on how to switch saved data.
/ The first half of the "ultimate mode," a high difficulty mode, has been implemented. It is a challenging mode with a fairly high difficulty level.
/ Two new BGM songs have been added and replaced. The BGM for shopping in the store and the BGM for the events in which Nyagosuke appears have been changed. Please enjoy!
/ Two new cheat codes have been implemented.
/ When the game is cleared (after the battle against Maho), a guide will now be displayed on the title screen directing you to the update information.
Please apply the update before continuing to play. By applying this update, the game version will be [ Ver 0.1.02 ]. You can see which version you're playing by looking at the bottom right of the title menu screen.

The early access version of Ketchup and Mayonnaise has been released.
Hi, everybody! This is Waku Waku Games.
Ketchup and Mayonnaise (or Ketchup Mayo for short), the RPG featuring two best friends in a spectacular and slightly weird adventure, has been officially released today!
Given it is being released as an early access version first, this version contains around half the content that the complete game will. If you liked the world, characters, and battles in the previously released trial version, we're sure you'll love the early access version that's out today, as well as the new content to be rolled out in the next year or two.
We'd like to share some words from the game's creator, Tatarabani:
Hello, I'm Tatarabani, the producer of Ketchup and Mayonnaise. Finally, the game has made it to the release of the early access version.
Ketchup and Mayonnaise features turn-based battles which incorporate various action elements. I put a lot of effort into creating a fun game that lets you intuitively enter commands to perform moves, dodge attacks, and defend yourself. In particular, I focused a lot on how characters are modelled, the worldscape, and the story. I hope you enjoy the slightly chaotic nature of the game, in which you can't be certain what it'll throw at you next. If unique visuals and a fun atmosphere are up your alley, I'd be grateful if you'd give it a try.
While we haven't set a concrete completion date yet, I can say that we plan to implement a major update sometime to expand the playable area. By that time, we hope to cram in our many ideas, such as new characters, battles, boss battles, and regions. But we need your support to get to that stage, so please do not hesitate to contact us with your feedback and comments.
I began working on this two and a half years ago, during which time a lot of people patiently waited for it, so I'm beyond happy now that it's finally taking its first steps into the world. Of course, you don't need to know any history of it to dive right in now. Just know that I'm glad I got to make exactly the game I wanted to make. So, if you enjoy playing Ketchup and Mayonnaise, don't be shy! Let us and everyone know! And most importantly, thank you very much.

Ketchup and Mayonnaise early access version will be released on April 11, 2022!
Hi all, and thanks for your patience.
The release date of the early access version of Ketchup and Mayonnaise is now officially set for April 11, 2022 (JST) ! It will cost 800 yen (US$6.99/CN¥43.97/NT$195/HK$54, etc.). Upon its release, it will only be available in Japanese. We hope to share it more widely, of course, so are working on making it available in other languages ASAP. We'll also provide news in English and Chinese from the outset to get the word out!
To see what the early access version contains, please see the Early Access section on the store page. We plan to release this version around midnight on the 11th (Japan time), but there may be delays if circumstances require. If so, we'll keep you informed here.
Also, A trial version of this game is available now. Why not check it out while you wait?

Trial version set for release in Feb 2022 at the Steam Next Fest
The Steam Next Fest will go for a week from February 21, 2022, and you can expect a trial version of Ketchup and Mayonnaise to be released during the event! This version will offer playtime of 30-50 minutes from the start of the game. Go ahead, take the chance to dive headfirst into Ketchup and Mayo's world!
As of the trial version's release, it'll only be available in Japanese, with apologies to non-Japanese-reading players. However, we're considering localizing the trial version into English and Chinese (traditional and simplified), so please keep an eye out for that sometime after the Steam Next Fest.

We'll soon start making the early access version of the game available to players. Although we expect it to take quite a few updates and some time to complete the game, with your feedback and support, we'll make ground steadily. So please don't hesitate to contact us whenever, wherever!
Also, the Early Access version will only be available in Japanese at first, but localization into English and Chinese (traditional and simplified) will follow while we work on developing the game to completion. We hope to make it available to English- and Chinese-reading fans ASAP.
