On the 5th of April a GM (Game Moderator) was seen in Mist Iron Prison, allegedly in a group (party) with 5 other non-GM players.

I was just checking the Ki rates as players were reporting it was too low.
What was wrong with the way it was tested?
Rates was not properly tested because of the level gap created between the non-GM characters vs the GM character.
GM's should never party with non-GM characters unless it is necessary, such as when there is an event.
When testing, GM's should never use GM characters because it is unbalanced and could give unreliable results. (should only test with configured normal characters that will be deleted afterwards)
Everything that follows is based on the investigation of the game logs.
The party lasted for 112 seconds (about 2 minutes)
About 20 monsters were killed
1 Lynch King was killed
Only Ki Balls and Golds were looted for the duration of the party

Resolution
A resolution is currently being internally debated, one of the leaned on option is to remove all ki, exp, items acquired within the party.

Cheat and Ban Policy
Hello Khanatics,
We would like to give an official statement in the topic of cheats and the ban policy.
The general ban policy is 1st offense = 1 day, 2nd offense = 1 week, 3rd offense = permanent. But this can change without prior notice.
We also reserve the right to permanently ban a player that we find had gained too much advantage due to the use of cheats, that it affects the balance of the game.
If they have made their first offense and we think that it is in the best interest of everyone that they be banned permanently, they will have their 1 day (1st offense) ban and after they get released we will manually ban them again, permanently.
Cheats are as follows but not limited to, anything that uses 3rd party programs or software AND exploiting of game bugs.

Anti-Cheat (Bantatay) Updated
Hello Khanatics,
A new and improved detection algorithm has been updated into the live version of Khan.
The detection is now an AI that calculates and learns your movements and attacks, it will not ban you immediately but rather gathers intel first. When the AI has concluded that you have undoubtedly cheated. Then it will run the auto ban and auto announce.
Again, we would like to remind everyone that ANY FORM OF CUT or SPEED HACK will not be tolerated.
