For those that don’t know QI Sports does not only want to make an excellent place for fans of the beautiful game but also have an ice hockey community too! We are currently working on adapting what we built for that world of ice and speed onto the same core platform that runs Kickoff Legends. As if that was not enough we are also working on bringing Kickoff Legends onto iOS. Both projects are advancing well, and a lot of this new build concerns those projects.

With the onset of spring we give you a new feature that opens up a whole new chapter to how you manage your very own team towards glory! Here go!
A team needs leadership, and some things you, as the one in charge, need to be able to delegate. You need qualified staff that executes your directions and helps you make the right decisions. Starting today, you can add staff to your team. Excited? You should Be!
The first member you will be able to add is the Assistant Manager! Unlike players, you don’t have to worry about your staff signing with a new team while still under contract with you. So your assistant manager will be saying with you until the very end of the contract, if you choose to renew the contract you don’t have to worry about being outbid.
You can only sign one Assistant Manager for your team, the same rules will apply for future staff members.
By playing matches your Assistant Managers gains experience and will level up. With each level new abilities will be unlocked. We are starting with 2 levels today, but 5 levels are planned right now and in development.
This update offers you two advantages that will make your team more competitive than ever. At level 1, if your Assistant Manager can automatically assign training points as soon as a training ends. Once at level 2, he increases the maximum number of active items at the same time.
Your assistant manager will also interact on the technical, physical, mental and goalkeeper aspects as we continue to develop this feature, so make sure you start working on his evolution today. Our long-term goal is to add many more staff members. What we have planned right now are the banker, a therapist, specialist coaches, a director of football and a negotiator. As you can see, this is just the beginning! Hire your Assistant Manager from the market right now, coach your team and win the league!

How do they say? Progress never stops? Those that play Kickoff Legends on Steam or via the Browser will already have noticed that the Game has become noticeably faster as we upgraded the way that data is being loaded.
We just completed the finishing touches implementing this into the Android Application as well, you can start testing this right away if you sign up as a Beta tester in the Play Store. Full roll-out will be coming soon.
Furthermore, as the wall is becoming more and more crowded with your own and other teams content, it is important to be able to get to what is important to you right here and now. You will notice three new buttons on top of the News feed. Global, is the wall you know, all events and posts are displayed here. League, will only be showing news about your own and teams playing in the same league you are playing in. My Team, only shows events about your own team. Ultimately we want you to be able to create your own filters, so you can build feed that is just right for you, but this should help you get to what’s important when it’s important.

To start the week off right, we have big announcements to make! We’ve been working on several changes that will definitely influence the way you’re playing your matches.
As you know KOL’s goal is to put you in charge. It is up to you to make the right decision at the right time! As soccer fans, you know the importance of half time. It's a crucial moment for the managers and players alike.
Now, with these new updates, you can have a real half time talk with your team in the locker room! You can replace them during this key period just like in a real game.
Also, if your strategy isn't the best, you can review your tactics and rewrite history! Change your 4-3-3 for an offensive 4-4-2 and get the glory!
Now, when you analyze your player stats, you will have the team’s lineup average at the top of the page. This will help you make the right decisions for your team and make sure your strategies are the best! Your selected starting lineup strength is in your team header. In the mobile application it is always visible in the footer.
There’s even more that comes with this build, because it’s all about the little things. Player lists (Team Players, Contracts and Lineup) are now sorted by positions by default, no more using the filter to find the right player. your players are now grouped by Goaltenders, Defenders, Midfielders and Attackers.

Big news, we have revised the mechanism of winning stars. Rather than having to win 4 games consecutively, you will now be rewarded with a star at every 5th victory! League matches are now also be part of the win count.
It's time to work your way up the ranking and earn the stars you need to sign the Star Players you need to compete with the best teams!

Version 3.44 - Energy!
This version, called Energy, brings some very important changes to the energy of the players.
At the end of your match, the energy of your player will be saved and a fraction of the energy lost will be applied to your player. When starting your next match, your player will start with that energy. Quick and easy example :
Magnus Haug from the StudioQi team ends his match at 58% energy.
When starting a new match, Magnus will start his new match at 90%. When this match ends, he has 25% of energy.
When starting the third match, his energy will be 50%.
The process to recover is pretty easy, put your player as a sub or remove it completly from line up. As long as a player doesn't play in a match, he will recover energy. We want to force people to change their lineup instead of having 12 good players and winning the cup with it.
In the next releases we will be focusing on player content (commenting on match result and achievements, league discussions, etc). Following that, we will start introducing Staff.
Some Staff will help you to loose less energy or recover energy faster.
As a side note, we have heard numerous reports about the game not giving enough Millions to keep a good competitive team alive and well. When building your dynasty it's important to convince your players to stick around to see the project until the end. There is a famous saying, and it goes like so "Money talks!". When you offer one of your own players a contract you can now offer them a non-compete clause. This means that the player will not be taking any more offers from any other teams. Gone are the days of exclusive Friday's but at least you can hold on to your player if you are willing to pay him to stay.

New non-compete clause to player offer. If you want to make a final offer to a player, you can pay an additional amount to freeze the offers. Only works if this is your player. This also means that we are removing the Friday offer freeze, in favor of the new non-compete clause.
New Inventory widget in the header of the dashboard. Always make sure you have an active item to give your team the best possible chance when playing a match!
