Now onto the big news...

Undead Cometh Expansion Released
We, at Reverie World Studios are happy to present the next chapter in Kingdom Wars 2: Battles - The Undead Cometh expansion. And in our company's traditions - this expansion is free, and will be automatically downloaded as a Steam update.
The biggest features of the expansion is the conclusion of the singleplayer campaign, as well as the whole set of new Skeleton undead units for players to command.
Skeleton Units The Skinless as we calling them are Skeleton creatures of various roles. Heavy Infantry, Light Warriors, Archers... Players can now research and "raise" these units in the Crypt building, available to all races. Undead Skeletons can be directly controlled by the player, and turn the battlefield tactics upside down - as these creatures are immune to fire and arrows. Get ready to experience what`s it like to command army of darkness in RTS.
Singleplayer Campaign As for the story line - it`s time to revisit the singleplayer campaign, as we conclude the story. Just as confederacy gets ready with their expedition to bring the end of the Dragon race, the Undead forces surround the newly rebuild Dagbor. But this time things are different - and Zombies is the least of Confederacy problems, as thousands of now decayed corpses rise once again - this time as Skeleton warriors. Would this truly be the end of all life?
Other Changes Undead Cometh also includes dozens of other improvements across the board. From fixing last few remaining bugs in-game, to completely reworking balancing of the tech researches and dwarven units. Detailed change log will be revealed on Friday as we release this expansion.

Update 1.9 - Getting Ready for Undead Cometh (Beta Online)
===UPDATED=== Undead Cometh Expansion is now available in Preview Beta mode. To set it up please follow this link: http://steamcommunity.com/app/253190/discussions/0/154642901286518967/
Dear Players,
We have a really exciting week ahead - with imminent release of Undead Cometh expansion. At the same time we are planning some promotions next week to greatly boost the player population, and of-course we expect many of our current players to come back - to experience continuation and conclusion of our singleplayer campaign, as well as to try out the new player controlled undead armies.
And as we prepare to launch the free expansion pack - we wanted to take care of the two weakest points in KW2B - Pathfinding and Multiplayer Syncing. Today`s patch does not come with out customary long list of updates, it only focused on two problems - and I hope you`ll like what we come up with.
Pathfinding will feel a lot smoother, units move as battalions, and act much better on walls. And we hope there`s not a single OOS problem left in game. But we hope you`ll be the judge of that.
Undead Cometh - Free Expansion Pack Announced
Dear Players,
We are excited to announce the second expansion pack for Kingdom Wars 2: Battles - titled, Undead Cometh. In the best traditions of our studio - this expansion is absolutely free to all our players.
Kingdom Wars 2: Undead Cometh, scheduled for release this December, greatly expands the Undead army of KW2B. With this expansion we wanted to do exactly what our players has long been asking for - expanding the Undead component beyond Zombies, introducing a lot more creatures that are not of this world. From skeletal warriors wielding conventional weapons of death to Lich Kings raising the dead.
As for the story line - it`s time to revisit the singleplayer campaign, as we continue the story. Will you led the Undead Hordes?
For now this is all that we are revealing. More screenshots and additional details are coming closer to the end of November. We also hope to release Update 1.9 later next month - however, it might get bundled with the Undead Cometh release.
Meanwhile if you have any questions - please don`t hesitate to ask:)
Update 1.9 - Preview and Details
Dear Players,
The team is once again back to work on the next big KW2B update, that we are aiming to release later this Fall
With update 1.9 we looked at working exclusively on player suggested fixes, and expect to have a very impressive list of updates and squashed bugs.
We plan to cover every area of the game - from increasing population limit in Survival and fixing large number of saved game and Elven units issues to upgrading Treasure Guarding Dragon AI from a village idiot to an evil mastermind... (Or at least Zombie smart...)
Every single suggestion posted by our players over the past 3 months has been carefully considered, and we hope that over half of your requests and suggestions will make it into the patch.
In addition 1.9 comes with completely balancing overhaul - based on our experience and players feedback over the past few months. Our goal is to make every single unit more unique, and get rid of the "useless" units. You can expect the less used units to get boost and new roles, and more commonly used units to see a small downgrade.
Also please accept our apologies for the delays with the update, the team has been working on something big past couple of months - something that we can`t announce yet - but that should make every KW2B player and fans of Medieval warfare very happy (we`ll make sure of that)...
