🛡️ Exciting News for Kingdoms of Myth Adventurers! 🐉
Dear players,
We extend our heartfelt apologies for the extended period of silence – your patience has been invaluable to us.
Today, we're absolutely thrilled to unveil our grand plans for Kingdoms of Myth's participation in the eagerly awaited Steam Strategy Fest 2023! And it comes with a special treat – a free demo that will be at your fingertips from August 28 to September 04, starting at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (6 p.m. CET / 1:30 a.m. IST).
This demo is more than just a sneak peek; it's a doorway into a realm of new possibilities. We've worked tirelessly over the past year, refining and augmenting the game with exciting updates. One of the highlights is the captivating OST (Original Soundtrack) composed by the talented RobFeb from Keep The Focus (@robkeepthefocus), which brings a whole new level of immersion to your game-play experience.
But that's not all – get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of the Indian faction! This addition brings a plethora of unique technologies, units, and skills, enriching your strategies and tactics. And for those who crave more information, our reworked tool-tips are here to provide you with comprehensive insights into every nook and cranny of the game's intricacies.
However, it's important to note that the demo won't showcase our groundbreaking Campaign mode based on the Second Punic War. The Campaign will introduce fresh game-play dynamics and an innovative approach, shifting from individual units to commanding armies. Additionally, the UI/UX redesign, currently in the works, is yet to grace the demo. What you'll see in the UI/UX corresponds to our mobile platform, as we prepare to launch on smartphones in the near future. Rest assured, it's all part of our strategic plan for broader accessibility, and the PC version will be tailored accordingly.
We want to extend our warmest invitation to each and every one of you to download the demo and actively engage with it. Your feedback is our most valuable asset as we navigate the final stages of development towards our highly anticipated full release, anticipated later this year. For giving your feedback, inside the Demo there is a button called "Feedback", please use it to share your comments with us!
So, dear adventurers, sharpen your swords, refine your strategies, and get ready for an unparalleled journey into the realms of Kingdoms of Myth. Together, let's forge the future of turn strategy gaming!
Yours in the pursuit of glory, The Kingdoms of Myth Team

Game Update: Indian Faction
On Kingdoms of Myth we are very proud to showcase the incredible amount of 100 different factions, each of them totally personalized, with their unique units, buildings, technologies and skills. Nevertheless, during the last discussions within the development team, we reach the conclusion that it is true that we have 100 factions, but there were three that were not playable. They could be controlled only by the CPU in the history mode. For that reason we decided to make a last expansion of factions to reach that magic number, but with playable factions. After studying the different possibilities (we have so many options in mind!) we reach the conclusion that the Indian Faction will be the perfect addition to the game. There are several reasons for that:
We received a lot of interest from Indian players in our publications
It will make a lot of sense from the Campaign and History Mode point of view. Who wants to see Alexander the Great facing Indian armies?
While envisioning the faction it came out to be extremely funny!
What Is the Indian faction going to look like?
Kingdoms of Myth will take as reference the ancient Maurya Empire (the first Indian unified kingdom, 322 BCE - 184 BCE). Indians are going to depict a very exotic army. With Chakram throwers, Urumi warriors (below picture), naked ascetic and powerful elephants!
We cannot wait to start sharing with you the mechanics of that amazing and exotic faction!
How the Indian faction is going to sound?
As well, we are glad to announce that the amazing RobFeb from Keep The Focus has created an Indian Theme for the faction. You can see a small teaser of the theme here.
Release date update?
Due to the recent changes of scope and for being able to release a product of the quality that we desire. The release date of the game has been moved to the 31 of July. Sorry for the inconveniences, just wait a bit more!

Kingdoms of Myth OST Showcase
Dear enthusiasts of Kingdoms of Myth,
As you may know, the project now is on a final phase where some details are being polished and where we are progressing energetically specially with the Original Soundtrack composed exclusively for the game. Today we would like to speak about that Soundtrack that currently it is being created and composed by the amazing RobFeb from Keep The Focus. The creation of the music for Kingdoms of Myth has been an incredible challenge, as you know, Kingdoms of Myth depicts 100 different factions. Factions belonging to all the continents and from different eras. Every region has its own dedicated music track on the game, therefore you can imagine how big and diverse will be the music.
Here you can see an small showcase of the music created by RobFeb for the game:
As you know, the game as well contains an amazing contribution in terms of illustrations. In the previous Showcase music video you can see the art corresponding to the following artists:
It's been a long time since we last sent you an update about the game status. It is true that since the Steam Fest edition where we took part we have been progressing slower than expected, but right now, the progress has been retaken with a lot of energy.
Currently, our main focus is on finishing the list of factions, which finally will be 100 different and unique factions!! And the second main element of interest is the progress on the Soundtrack of the game. For the Soundtrack (or OST) of the game, since the beginning we were pointing to achieve a fully genuine soundtrack, one made exclusively for Kingdoms of Myth. For the past years, we worked on it, with several collaborations, but finally we were not able to progress and not with the desired quality. Nevertheless, today we are proud to say that thanks to the help of the fantastic Rob from Keep the Focus we have been able to achieve a high quality soundtrack and we know Kingdoms of Myth finally will have the soundtrack that it deserves! We really cannot wait to show it to you, as the effort and talent used here are outstanding!
Finally, for this last Halloween 2022 update, we are sharing an small teaser of the picture of Erzsébet Báthory done by the magnific DELIRUS, who is helping with the last pictures for the game. Erzsébet Báthory, the blood countess, will be depicted on Kingdoms of Myth on a creepy history challenge, where you will need to defeat that historic character, one of the most terrifying figures of Old Europe.
You will be able to defeat her? Add Kingdoms of Myth to your watchlist and early next year you will be able to know!
Artist Highlights: DELIRUS
Kingdoms of Myth artwork is created by the collaboration of hundreds of artists. In fact, today the game has a massive collection of different collaborations of more than 500 artists. That incredible collection is created by works of artists that worked with passion to leave their touch on the game and every single collaboration that can be found within the game can be considered as a truly great artistic piece. It is true as well that from the massive list of artists that are collaborating, some specific artists are outstanding for the amount of collaborations and the exquisite art created for the game. One of the artists that can be highlighted is Delirus, a really skilled Italian artist which his contribution to the game is brilliant. He has contributed with all kinds of pictures: from hero characters to basic units, from male characters to females including even other kinds of creatures and buildings, he has drawn historical and fantastic characters and without forgetting any region of the world. So inside the game you will be able to find: pre-Columbian American characters, European, African, Polynesian, etc. Today, you can find 12 different masterpieces done by him inside the game, and in fact, his art is so iconic that you will be able to find it, not only inside the standard gameplay and the campaign, but also in the main and loading screens.
If you want to enjoy more of his artworks, please don’t miss out his amazing gallery at DeviantArt!
Don’t miss to follow Kingdoms of Myth and to add it to your Wishlist to know more about that great upcoming game and the great pictures done by the artist collaborating!
What's next for Kingdoms of Myth?
Steam Next Fest has finished, we have gathered a lot of Feedback from you and probably you are wondering: What's next? Here we will summarize you all the actions that will be done before the release.
First of all, we will like to thank to all the people that downloaded the Demo and specially the ones that left us some feedback. Based on the different feedback received we have decided to delay the launch of the game, we really want to meet your expectations, therefore we think it is worth to keep working on the game to give you an optimal result.
We need to mention as well, that a good portion of the feedback received has to do with the GUI and resolution of the game, and we want to share the reason of why it was looking like that. The game is actually being developed for Google Play (Android) and Steam (PC), so, the UI and resolution that we designed is a mobile-first GUI and it is simplified accordingly. However, from your feedback we understood that on PC you need more details and information on the UI, so, we are going to personalize the PC version to ensure a much better and pleasant experience.
Having clarified that, before the game release we will work on the following areas:
Campaign Mode
Campaign mode will be finished.
Diplomacy system will be included.
City improving system will be included.
Province/regions system will be included.
Special battles will be included.
UI & Resolution
Higher resolutions will be selectable on the first screen of the game.

Mouse scroll will be improved.
Map goals will be clarified on the UI.
Faction selection on the Free Battle page will be improved to give more details to the user about the different faction differences before starting the game.
Language review on the different texts.
Better map designs.
AI
AI of Neutral player will be updated and improved.
AI of CPU players will be improved and you will be able to choose between 3 levels of difficulty.
