Major Update: New User Interface Update is now live!
We are thrilled to announce the release of our eighth major update for Kingdoms Reborn.
This update completely overhauls the game's user interface (UI). We’ve redesigned the UI to be more engaging, and visually stunning. Dive into Kingdoms Reborn and enjoy the dynamic new look!
We have added the victory screen. Now, when you win, your citizens will cheer and celebrate your success, honoring your hard-fought journey and achievements. This addition not only highlights your accomplishments but also provides a satisfying conclusion to all your efforts, making the endgame experience more rewarding and memorable.
We're also pleased to introduce key bindings as part of this update. This feature allows you to customize your controls to better fit your playstyle, making the game more accessible and enjoyable. Head over to the game settings menu to personalize your controls and enhance your experience in Kingdoms Reborn.
The game HUD visuals have been polished. We reworked the UI backgrounds, and motifs to improve immersion.
We’ve revamped the in-game graphs with a fresh new design, improving its visuals and functionality. Players can now hover over the graph lines to see exact values, making it easier to analyze information and make better decisions and strategies.
Our tutorial book has been completely revamped for a cleaner and easier-to-read experience. The redesigned layout ensures a seamless flow of information, making it intuitive for new players to quickly navigate and understand the game. Each section provides clear and concise information so that newcomers can easily grasp the game's mechanics
We’ve introduced animations to some parts of the UI. These animations not only enhance the visual appeal but also make interacting with the game more fun and enjoyable.

Optimized citizen simulation for better late-game performance.
Fixed bugs causing lag before 1000 citizens, letting you focus on strategy and growth without performance issues as your kingdom expands.

Large buildings are twice the original size with expanded production capacity, each with their own bonus, assisting you in optimizing your city's production capacity.

With the Steam Summer Sale upon us, we're excited to introduce new features to Kingdoms Reborn, including a new Co-op Mode, Achievements, No Card Draw Mode, AI Dialog, and More!
Co-op Mode:
Team up with your friends to strategize and build a powerful kingdom together! Hands in hands, multiple players running one kingdom, good teamwork will be key to your success!
Unlock Achievements:
We’ve added 30+ Steam achievements to the game! Prove your skills and unlock a variety of achievements as you progress through the game. More will be added as we progress through the early access development!
New Citizen Models:
Introducing new citizen models for different factions bringing their cultures to life with their own distinct appearance.
No Card Draw Mode:
The new No Card Draw Mode removes the randomness of card drawing. No Card Draw: Start with 3 wild cards, gain 1 more for each season (no regular card draws).
Abandon City:
Abandon City feature lets you restart your civilization without returning to the main menu. Perfect for when your population drops to zero or you feel like you run into a death spiral
AI Dialogues:
AI bots now engage in dynamic dialogues, adding new interactions.

Major Update: ‘Rise of Valhalla’ - Viking Update is live!
Greetings Builders!
We are excited to unveil the third major update for Kingdoms Reborn, Rise of Valhalla!
Experience the brand new Viking Faction – 'The Norsemen', new ships sailing, provincial buildings, and major overhauls to farming, electricity, and the military systems; as well as gameplay rebalancing, bug fixes, and optimization!
Norsemen Faction
Play as the brand new Viking-inspired faction. These resourceful craftsmen hail from the northern lands and bring with them their own unique survival skills for the snowy, bitter boreal wilderness.
Unique Wonders: Great Long Hall, Basilica, Stave Church
New Buildings
Crop Breeders: Farm special crops within the vicinity.
Luxury Importer: Importing Luxury will now require the Luxury Importer (to prevent exploitation of Luxury Imports)
Card Shop: Buy buildings, province-specialty, and slot cards!
Naval Control: Create sea trade blockade - collecting fee of other players' ports
Deepsea Fishing Port: Fish for Deepsea Tuna populated around reefs all over the world's oceans.
Ships Sailing
Fishers and Traders now sail with their ships.
Farming Productivity / Fertility Map revamp
Fertile Field: An open meadow area with extremely high fertility, these fields will be cleared of trees and marked with a special meadow plant, indicating high fertility provinces suitable for crop farming.
Crop Breeders now replace the Province-based Resources that appear at the start of the game.
Farming Productivity affected by Crop Yield and Fertility Dependence.
Upgrade Points System
New resource designed to make building upgrade choices more interesting, and to help keep the gameplay engaging into the endgame.

New Military Unit Slots. Increase your Military Slots by growing your population. Rebalanced Military Units - Power and Cost

Bug Fixes: Many major and minor bugs have been fixed. Gameplay Rebalance: Many aspects of the game (e.g. cost, consumption, population, upgrade system) have been adjusted to ensure challenging gameplay into the endgame. Gameplay Optimization: Improved gameplay performance, including pathfinding and UI performance. Improved Localization: Localization has been improved in many languages, thanks to community efforts.

Switch to the "Pre-Viking update (Emirates)" branch in your Steam's library setting.
Right-click "Kingdoms Reborn" in your Steam library -> properties -> betas -> select "pre_beyond_border" patch
