Gameplay
• Fixed issue where swapping equipment would show invalid icon
• Fixed Client Side Inventory icon swap simulation (looks more direct)
• UI item tooltip display will differentiate elemental damages (weapon and item bonus)
• UI will now display light damage and resist
• Fixed several boss portraits
• Increased difficulty of Anraku, Dragozir, Gorkeg and Izmug in the Lair of the Damned
• Improved animations on several NPC’s
• Fixed issue with network position of destructible objects and doors
• Fixed salvage and firepit sounds
• Fixed various bugs, floating objects, gaps causing players to fall through dungeons
• Increased the drop rate of Ancient Items
• Fixed several portions of the Crypt of the Spider, spider eggs have been improved, traps spawn spiders instead of fire.
• Lair of the Damned NPC’s have been removed from initial hall after entry.

Abilities
• Fixed bug allowing players to dodge while being stunned, paralyzed, or slept
• Adjusted Throw Dagger to utilize melee attack power
• Wall run animations have been updated
• Fixed issue with Mortal Strike and Charge that would cause player to become stuck and die
• Updated debuff/status icons for bleed, sleep and other debuffs
• Buffs/Debuffs are now correctly cleared when character dies
• Fixed issue with Skoridian's trap
• Fixed Kobold animation issues.

[H1] Gameplay
• Fixed issue with Amarians ranged attacks (Rapid Shot)
• Adjusted boss doors to function properly
• Fixed pendulum damage occurring multiple times during hit
• Fixed several pieces in the Lair of the Damned and Crypt pieces that had gaps and could cause players to disconnect or fall through dungeon
• Fixed UI issue that would cause items to not show up
• Fixed issue where some NPC’s were floating (blacksmith)
• Fixed issue with death animation that could cause NPC’s to be bugged
• Fixed an issue that would cause the Library Crypt to spawn the same boss or spawn spider bosses. This will no longer occur.

[H1] Items
• Many items had their stats erroneously reduced, those have been corrected.
[H1] Ability Adjustments
• All spell based abilities (non-weapon) have been refactored to scale more appropriately with each level. Previously spell abilities would receive a large bump upon leveling up, but then decline in power until you got the next level of the ability. Players should see a net zero change in abilities at the level change and maximum levels but a more consistent power output as your character progresses.
Champion
• Bash cooldown & duration reduced
• Fist of Judgment cooldown and knockback distance reduced
• Hand of Judgment cooldown and stun duration reduced
• Unstoppable – Cooldown Duration and attack rate reduced
• Skin of Stone – Cooldown Duration and damage reduction reduced
• Shield Wall – Cooldown Reduced
• Convert charge to % of weapon damage
• All champion abilities have had their threat increased as well as taunts improved to be more immediate
Cleric
• Blessing of Wisdom – Duration and cooldown increased
• Blessing of Wisdom is now an AOE buff from caster location

• Holy Light cooldown and damage reduced
• Divine shield will now shield all in the cone of targeting
Ranger

• Paralyzing Shot – Cooldown and duration of effect reduced

Rogue
• Added new Rogue abilities available from the Rogue Trainer

This patch includes gameplay fixes to existing content.
Gameplay
• Fixed NPC AI pathing in most dungeons (Lair of the Damned) primarily. NPC’s should now move along paths more consistently. Larger NPC’s should behave better
• Fixed a distance issue with larger NPC’s. These NPC’s should not maintain proper distance to the player
• Optimize dungeon loading and unloading performance that could cause disconnects
• Fixed several dungeon sections that prevented players from progressing in dungeon
• Fixed several of the boss cards that were not displaying properly
• Fixed issue with boss door behavior, these doors should not lock upon entry into boss room and unlock upon defeating the boss
• Bosses should no longer take environment damage in the Lair of the Damned.

We’re excited to bring you the latest content update that includes the revision of the Lava Dungeon, now called the Lair of the Damned.
Lair of the Damned
The Lair of the Damned is an advanced dungeon where adventurers travel into the depths to battle the Branded and their masters, The Firebrand Ogres. The dungeon has 10 levels of excitement and all bosses have had their loot upgraded.
Performance
• Optimize CPU performance for all characters
• Fix behavior issues loading into dungeon (initial room invisible, player falling, etc.)
• Optimize dungeon loading and unloading performance. Players should see more consistent performance as they go deeper into dungeons
• Fix incorrect spawning of large AI
• Improved rim shader performance
Gameplay
• Fixed an issue that caused stealth to break upon opening doors and chests
• Increased crafting skill gain. Players should see greater experience gain from creating items.
Items
• New items have been added to all bosses in Lair of the Damned
• The number of patterns dropping of the Lair of the Damned bosses has been increased
• Fixed several items that had been set to Unique causing loot issues
• Several weapons have had their type upgraded, increasing their damage done
• Fixed some item level of detail to be more consistent

Happy New Year!
We hope you all had a great holiday season! The first patch of the year brings some minor fixes as well as the ability to rejoin dungeons on disconnect. We wanted to get the rejoin feature out as that is the primary focus of this patch.
Improvements & Bug Fixes
• Player should now be able to rejoin dungeons upon disconnect from the dungeon. Players will see an option in the Player lobby upon logging back into the game to rejoin dungeon (button).
• Adjusted wolf mount run animation
• Fixed an issue where several consumables would persist
• Fixed issue with incorrect duration on several buffs (i.e. Blessing of Wisdom)
• Fixed issue where armor had incorrect values

[H1] Happy Holidays!
Winter has come to the town of Everdale! Grab your friends and begin your adventure! Thank you to all the players who supported us this past year. We look forward to next year!
[H1] Update
• Players can pick up a seasonal quest from Zzyzx
• Players now have more character slots. All players have received an additional six slots available in the second tab in the character lobby
• Fixed various animation issues with the Amarians
• Added poison damage to dart traps
• Region select should now only show once
• Reduced the damage on several NPC’s
• Updated resistance and attack power effects to stack (potions and abilities)
• Fixed various dungeon loot issues where the incorrect quality and stats were on several new items
• Fixed dungeon progression issues in Caverns of the Wild and the Broken Hideout that would sometimes lead to blocked hallways (there are still secret hallways hidden in the dungeon though )
• Added Forge rooms to Mirefen (additional ones are secret)
• Reduced damage done by the Tormented Spirit and Banshee life drain
• Fixed issue where some treasure chests were inaccessible in dungeons

Welcome to another update to Kings and Heroes! We’re excited to bring you the latest content update that includes the introduction of the Amarians as a playable race!
Amarians as a playable race!
The Amarians have emerged from their burrows to join the adventure! This new race if fully customizable and ready to explore Everdale! Players can choose any class with the new race!
The Mirefen Burrows!
A new dungeon set deep below the Mirefen Swamp lies the Mirefen Burrows. The Mirefen Burrows were homes to many of the Amarians who have taken up with the townsfolk of Everdale to seek adventure! The dwellers of the burrows see those Amarians who left for Everdale and traitors seek to eliminate them.
The Crypt of the Spider!
Venture into the depths of the Spider’s Lair! Deep in this dungeon, cultists worship the Queen and do her bidding! Do you have the mettle to cleanse these dark passages of the evil that lies within?
The Broken Hideout
The Darkspire Raiders are up to something in the depths of the Broken Hideout. Knowing the Darkspire, they are probably up to no good. Journey to the Broken Hideout and put a stop to their dark ways.
The Caverns of the Wild!
The Caverns of the Wild have been improved and optimized.
Founder’s Items
This patch introduces Founder’s items for November (sorry we’re late) and December.
Aged Darkspire Wolf
The stable master has trained a group of Darkspire wolves as mounts for those in Everdale daring enough to ride one!
Experience Loot Items
Zzyzx now offers players a means to gain more experience while adventuring with a special Cloak and Necklace that will increase experience gained by 10% each while worn
Upgraded Auto Loot Trinket
Zzyzx also offers players a quest at level 50 to trade in their existing stone for a more powerful one.
Loot & Items
Loot in dungeons should have a more consistent progression. Bosses in new dungeons have had their loot improved.
• Chests now give currency to all players in group
• Increased frequency of loot piles, destructibles and chests
• Loot setup is such that smaller loot objects (loot piles and destructibles) provide more of the basics to get through a dungeon while chests and NPC’s will provide opportunities for gear
• CRAFTING UPDATE: The crafted item's update will happen next patch (we're aiming for Friday) it was just too much to fit into this patch and needed additional support.
Light Magic!
Light magic has been added as an additional elemental magic. Players will begin to see items with Light magic on them soon.
[H1] Combat
We are working to improve many aspects of our combat. Our last pass focused on Player centric adjustments. This patch begins adjustments to NPC’s and how they are affected by abilities, in addition to adding a variety of deaths, changes in animation stats (i.e. targets and players seeing different animations for different abilities when hit). This will take several patches to implement and this is the beginning
• Dispel Magic and Free have had their utility improved. Many abilities/buffs are now dispellable.
• Added multiple variations of death animations to many NPC’s
• Added animations when impacted by specific abilities to increase effect (1st person and 3rd person)
Performance
• Fixed several crash scenarios
[H1] Gameplay
• NPC’s can now grant quests as well as being a merchant, look for more content here in the future
• Fixed issues with when mounting and dismounting
• Fixed difficulty settings in dungeons that would sometimes cause NPC’s to spawn with incorrect difficulty
• Fixed broken boss doors that would not perform correctly
• Increased randomization of available dungeons
• Fixed origin on several dungeon sections that would cause NPC’s to stream in slowing (sometimes popping)
• Improved Amarian NPC Ability sets, Amarian NPC’s will now pull from a larger group of abilities when combating players
• Smaller NPC’s have had their hit boxes increased, animation changes to make them less jumpy coming soon
• Many dungeon traps have had their lethality increased, be mindful when crossing them
• Added several sounds to environment, npcs, traps
• Boss cards have been improved and updated.
• Fixed Level of Detail settings on many items to reduce popping
• Many Icons were updated
• Fixed issue where alignment was not setting proper selection
• Players may now purchase more than one scroll of resurrection
• NPC's in general have had their damage output and experience given reduced. They have also had their health increased. These adjustments were increased with difficulty.

Patch 42
We've revamped Matchmaking to make it easier for players to join others who are creating dungeons. There are also many other fixes and optimizations in this patch. This was necessary before we start adding the new dungeons and world content. The game should now be in a good state for us to move ahead with this. Thank you all for your patience during these patches. The following lists more details on the specifics of this patch.
Matchmaking:
• Players now have the option to enable "Available for dungeon" from their player UI (P) or at one of the tables at the inn, this will make players available for matchmaking to those who create dungeons
• Players creating a dungeon will start a matchmaking lobby to find those players available for dungeon, matching players with up to a 10 level difference
• When creating a dungeon players may cancel matchmaking to choose different dungeon options
Abilities:
• Resurrection targeting is now more forgiving
• Wall Run surface angle check adjusted for Rogue ability
• Abilities targeting friendly units can no longer be cast to NPCs
Fixes:
• Fix Elf male Ear skin color on low LOD
• Setup various dungeon structures for an upcoming content update
• fixed Crafting list that was not updating newly learned recipes
• Fixed round shield and tower shield moved geometry away from bracer and rotated straps.
• Reduced the amount of account saving in lobby
• Fixed possible state bug when leaving matchmaking
• Fixed script warning during endplay of hud
• Fixed non-functioning calls to play ui sound
• Fixed bug causing level range for matchmaking to be ignored
• Fixed bug with starting dungeon
• Added LODs to grouped static meshes
• Cache equipped items in lobby to reduce server calls and improve performance
• Removed old camera shake/anim notify assets
• Fixed shield issues in 3rd person, added movement state update; reversed tp bash animations.
