Bug fixing update 03.09.2021

Hello, fellow Kings and Queens!

I've heard your cries and shouts and spend some time fixing all of the bugs you've carefully gathered and transmitted to me. Thank you for your help in making KingSim less buggy!

BUG FIXED:
1) Building the market makes no tutorial arrow appear when the adviser asks if you want to walk around the market on day 3.
2) Running out of happiness after taking a goat for yourself does not end in a game over.
3) Unknown merchant asks you to buy Ainie from prison even if you freed and married her (which loops the game logic).
4) Running out of health on the mine collapse event, triggers one of the dark rituals endings.
5) Spider Wife was trying to build peace between the people and the monsters but the last choice given is called "continue".
6) Having less than 10 money and choosing the negotiate option while deciding what to do with Esteban, then leaving the city, and paying with gold while dealing with her will just continuously loop back to the three options (pay, threaten, and ask her).
7) The shooting marker follows the deer when he runs away, making it easier for the player to hunt.
8) Holding any mouse button after the title screen is finished to roll up will make the "skip".

Major KingSim update is now live!

Dear Kings and Queens,

I'm very excited to announce that the HUGE KingSim story update I've been making this whole year after release is now live and ready to be downloaded via your Steam client.



What's new in the update?


  • Game+. New story events will appear after the 11th day of rulership. They will most certainly make the game more interesting while trying to survive, conquer the world, or make alliances on a political map.
  • New characters. More different NPC's to interact and make friends with (or enemies if you will).
  • New mechanics. You can now become an investor-king and profit through villages taxation or build schools to educate your peasants.
  • Overall improvements. You can now skip the tutorials, control the sawmill with a keyboard instead of a mouse, create undead on the graveyard to help with protection when using dark magic.


I'm excited to hear your feedback and really hope that new storylines that appear after the end of the main campaign will be as interesting as the main game was!

KingSim Major update releases on August 10!

Hello, fellow Kings and Queens!

I'm happy to announce that my work on the KingSim update is finally over and it will be released next month - on the 10th of August. It took me and my wife almost a year more of work to make so I hope that everyone will be able to enjoy new free content.
