The game currently doesn’t have enough active players to populate servers to start games and we don’t want to charge people for a game they can’t play. By making the game free we will hopefully get more full games going!
We want to thank all of you who have supported the game so far and we hope you can gather some of your friends up to play some rounds once it goes free next week.
If you recently got the game you may still be able to refund it through Steam.

Hello everyone!
First of we want to thank you all for the support, we never thought a romantic battle royale racing game with knights would hit a nerve with so many people! Even if updates are coming to an end we're so happy to see all of you drifting away, offering roses to your buddies and suspending your disbelief for Knights with guns
As you may have noticed we haven’t been updating Knightfall for the past month.
When we launched this project we didn’t expect it to be updated past the first week, so we’re happy we could update it more than promised! That said we don’t have any plans for further updates.
If you’re new here, every year we (Landfall) do an April Fool’s game or update, usually these are short-term projects created specifically for April 1st and are separate from our main games.
Just like the Knightfall disclaimer says both here on steam and in-game when you start it up for the first time:
We try to be as transparent with this as possible and want to keep the tradition going with fun new games.

Answering some common questions below
Will you be keeping the servers up? Yes! We have no plans to shut down servers or make the game unplayable in any way, it will stay up for as long as possible.
Should we expect updates for Knightfall? No, we’re unlikely to update the game again and we’re happy with where it’s at.
Will there be anti-cheat? We’ve also experienced the hacker issues in the game and we were looking into adding anti-cheat. Unfortunately due to how things are registered on the server adding anti-cheat to the game wouldn’t help the cheating problem as it would be easily bypassable. Therefore we’ve decided to leave that part of the game as-is. Will you be fixing any of the bugs currently in the game? There are no plans to do a bug-fixing update at this time.

Knightfall Update 3! New Town, weapons and enchantments!
Hello everyone! Time for update 3 (yes, the actual update 3 this time)
New weapons and enchantments:
Enchantments: Sonar: Reveals enemies in an area around the bullet/bomb impact. Restoration: Gives you healing bombs or bullets. Vampirism: Can now also appear as a bomb enchantment and gives the same stats as the weapon enchantment.
Two spellbooks: Ice bolt: Launches an ice projectile that slows Enemies that are hit. Ignite: Fires a volley of projectiles that light enemies on fire when hit.
