Hi all! This update comes with a few minor bugfixes, as well as new puzzles and an updated wordlist. Thank you all so much for sticking with Knotwords, and we hope you continue to enjoy it!

Version 1.0.9 Update
Hope you've all been enjoying the new share feature! This update fixes an issue with the in-game statistics not correctly counting how many times you've shared a puzzle, and the default puzzle name on sharing. It also has some minor puzzle fixes.

So sorry for the error - everyone should have their save files back!

Version 1.0.8
Hope you've been enjoying Knotwords! We've made a lot of updates, big and small.

The biggest thing you may notice is a new Share feature - try it out!

If you play with "correct" word feedback, a big new change is that we no longer allow alternative solutions - so it will only consider "correct" the original permutation we created.

We've also made a lot of stability updates behind the scenes, and fixed some lingering issues with Achievements. You can also turn off the updates about streaks if you want in the settings menu.

Hey everyone! Thanks so much for sticking with Knotwords, this is a quick quality of life update while we work on more fixes and features! Some of the fixes:


  • Fixed delete in word mode if you enter something in-line with what you’re deleting
  • Fixed infrequent crash on game over
  • Add arrows to monthly calendar
  • Remove pop-up from clicking numbers in twist puzzles
  • Fixed a few other input bugs
  • Other small bugs

  • Puzzlebook achievement bug should be fixed and fixed retroactively
  • Option to halt the background in global settings.

Version 1.0.5 Update!
New mode: Daily Minis
We added a new (free!) daily mode that's a fixed small size throughout the week. We hope you enjoy it!

Other adjustments:
- Modified how selection with arrow keys works (use tab to switch typing direction)
- Fix for 'Correct' feedback mode not giving any feedback at all on 2 and 3 letter words
- Fixed a typo in a mode description
- Fixed a statistics bug with incorrect average time on dailies
