Koihime Enbu v1.06 - Network Improvements
We're excited to announce that the open beta test we ran was successful, so the latest public update to Koihime Enbu enhances the online experience in line with the beta, addressing spectator issues and room stability.
Room Stability
An issue where the game would sometimes get stuck after a session error occured
An issue where the game would get stuck following a connection error before starting an online match
An issue where a loss of p2p connection resulting in the room's owner being kicked would result in everyone else being kicked too
Issues where spectators losing their connection was affecting players (now the spectator will be kicked)
Limited the amount of time (10 seconds) the game would wait for spectators to sync up with the match
An issue where one spectator timing out would cause others to time out too
Fixed the amount of time a room would wait for a spectator to sync before kicking them (30 seconds)
And improved connection stability overall
Bug Fixes
An issue where a battle would start before results were updated
Changed behaviour to give a connection error when the game fails to update ranking information at the results screen
Functionality, Changes in Mechanics
Changed Player Match room search function to retry after 90 seconds if no room is found.
Changed Ranked Match search function to continue searching if entering the room fails
Changed Quick Match search function to search using the most lenient conditions
Improved search functionality for the Steam version in relation to full rooms
Changed the ranking experience table so higher levels lose less experience when losing a match
Hopefully there should be no problems, but please report any issue you find here.
