Good hello! This patch was added to fix a few bugs, some new, and some which have been a thorn in my side for a while.
The guard in the glorby realm should no longer respawn when returning to the map after they have been defeated.
The player's mom should now update her sprite to match the player's skin color in all appearances.
The Haunt debuff should no longer deal damage to the player when it is purged by the Wash ability.
Focus and Haste buffs and debuffs should no longer crash the game whenever they are applied while all buff slots are full. (This one has been a thorn in my side for a while - if your game gets crashed, please send a screenshot of the error message to Kor's discussion page! I don't want anyone losing progress to some dumb glitch!)
Thank you all for playing!
Sprite update bug fix!
All player sprites for existing save files should now be the originally chosen sprite!
If you have any problems, reach out to me!
You can always go back to the mirror in your starting house to change your sprite, too!
More bug fixes!
Hopefully this resolves issues with player sprites for existing save files glitching out completely.
If your sprite is not what you selected, teleport or walk back to the upstairs of the starting house, and interact with the mirror to change your sprite!

Sprite bug for existing save files!
I have become aware of a bug affecting existing save files as of the recent sprite update. I've uploaded a temp fix, but it may not work in all cases, and I'm working on a more solid one soon. If your game is bugged, do not panic! If it's not fixed already, a more solid fix will come soon.
Feminine Sprite update!
After much deliberation and a few requests, I have finally added additional sprites to Kor to give players more options!
Players can go to the mirror in the upstairs room of your starting house to change looks!
Originally, I didn't have a set gender in mind for the player character. In fact, it is by design that at no point throughout the course of the game does anyone or anything ever gender the player character at all. But despite this, many players assumed the main character is a boy because of the short hair, which is reasonable! And because of this, girls who played Kor often requested a more feminine player sprite, and I pushed back a little bit because I didn't want the character's gender to be so black and white - I wanted anyone to be able to align themselves easily with the character. But since players were already feeling unable to do so, and since I'm of the opinion that more customization is almost always a good thing anyway, I've finally decided to add more options.
So I'm very excited to release these news sprites! I think they turned out well. If anyone ever wants to let me know what they think about them, you can always reach out to me! ...or leave a nice positive review for my humble little indie RPG. ;)
Kor's Price Reduced
It's been almost a year now, and I wanted to celebrate all the positive reception that everyone has given my game by cutting its cost in half. Thanks to everyone who left a review for the game; it's not an exaggeration to say that seeing a new review for Kor is one of the few things that makes me feel actual excitement. I'm hoping that this price reduction will result in more even more funny, intriguing, thoughtful reviews from even more new plays.
Thank you, everyone!
Custom Keybindings Update!
While I really wanted Kor to have custom keybindings on its release - as this is a feature that I believe almost every PC game should have - its implementation tends to be more work than one might expect.
Nevertheless! I've been working to add it to the game's main menu, as well as updating visuals and dialogue to suit the player's ability to actually change their controls, and doing a little testing (probably less testing than I should have... what could go wrong?), and just a little over a month after a release, the game now has its most requested feature.
It can be accessed in the main menu, on the title screen! If you've been waiting for this feature to be added, now is the time to strike!
I have also changed a few pieces of dialogue here and there, to clarify a few very minor things I noticed players tending to get a little hung up on.
Lastly, I want to remind everyone that if you need help with the game, you can always hit me up on twitter at https://twitter.com/goadstool - my DMs are open, and I'm glad to help people with Kor if they need it!
Thanks again everyone, for checking out my game!
A thank you to everyone!
Good hello!
First of all, thank you everyone for checking out Kor! It means a lot to me that this many of you are playing my first game, and that the reviews are so positive thus far. I'm really excited to hear all the comments to come, too!
I also updated the game with a few tiny things - a little bug fix for the first puzzle with the Warper that was causing it to solve early in some circumstances, as well as a couple typos here and there. Nothing too big!
You're all welcome to reach out to me, whether indirectly through a review of Kor here on Steam, or directly through Twitter.
Hope you all had happy holidays, for those of you who celebrate that sort of thing.
