We really hope that you enjoy what we've made. For Kotodama it's been very much a learning experience for us.
It's the first game we've made from the ground up. It's kinda quirky and, we hope, a Visual Novel that will surprise you to the very end.
We wanted to players to finish the game and think 'well, I wasn't expecting that!'.
It's hard for us to gauge whether we've achieved that when we already know the surprises in store. We hope we managed to deliver what we set out to!
All being well - and that is, if you don't HATE it - we'd love to start working on the sequel and begin exploring some of the cast in more detail.

Character Introduction - Chinatsu Hachisuka
CHINATSU HACHISUKA
There's always one isn't there! Chinatsu is the Bossy Tsundere of Fujisawa Academy. She spends her days patrolling the Academy Hallways dishing out grief to anyone who dares to turn up late for class, or run in the corridors.
Yup, this girl is tsundere through and through. So much so, you have to wonder if this girl has any redeeming qualities. Seriously, she needs to chill. She's always hanging around Kujo too - as though she doesn't have anything better to do.
But the thing is - she definitely has something to hide and it's arguably one of Fujisawa Academy's biggest secrets. Because for an Academy of such importance in the community, no one - and I mean NO ONE - has ever seen the principal. Some people claim to know who he is, others deny all knowledge...
...with some smart use of your Kotodama power, maybe Chinatsu will be able shed some light on this mystery...
Character Introduction - Kujo Satsuki
KUJO SATSUKI
Kujo Satsuki is Fujisawa Academy's finest student. Quickwitted and sharp - his grade average is, frankly, outrageous.
President of the Student Council - he also knows more about Fujisawa's inner workings than any other Student and an excellent source of information.
He's also a bona fide Honor Scholar, which, as many of the other students know, grants him special... privileges.
Given his high status at the Academy though, he is universally well liked. He's easy going and always happy to help his fellow students. He has no superiority complex, even though you'd forgive him for having one.
But despite all this, he is unusually close to one to of the Seven Mysteries and it doesn't take him long to have a very keen interest in what the Occult Research Club is up to.

MEET THE CAST OF KOTODAMA!
A quick heads up for you today, because we've recently revealed the full character roster for Kotodama in its very own trailer. You can see the new trailer on our store page - or you can check it out on our YouTube channel here:

One thing many people have asked, which this trailer finally shows is that Kotodama is fully voice acted in Japanese.
That is with the exception of you, the protagonist, of course!
There are some nice examples of some of Kotodama's other elements too - like dialogue choices, your Kotodama power leveling up by finding key words, and also some of the Kotodama Battle powers too, like Bomb, and Double Damage. You also get to see Chinatsu powering her Hindrance Attacks as well.

Character Introduction - Wakaba Asagiri
WAKABA ASAGIRI
You could say that, after Nanami Kagura, Wakaba Asagiri is one of the most important characters in Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa.
You see, Wakaba is the President of the Occult Research Club. Their role is to investigate the Seven Mysteries at the Academy and get to the bottom of it. With your... unique skills, it doesn't take long for Wakaba to try to enlist you.
Wakaba is, in many ways, one of the most normal students at the Academy. She's happy go lucky, reliable and level headed... or so you'd think.
Deep down though she has her own insecurities, particularly when it comes to romance. Is there anything this girl wouldn't do for love?
If you want to find out, you're going to have to deep dive with your Kotodama power - but it won't be easy. Wakaba's hindrance attack includes a shield, which can block your power in the confrontational battles for the truth.

Character Introduction - Yukino Tsubaki
YUKINO TSUBAKI
Considered by many at Fujisawa Academy as being nothing but a spoilt rich kid, Yukino Tsubaki is best described as... 'frosty'.
You certainly shouldn't get on the wrong side of her - which is exactly what Nanami Kagura, your best friend on campus, has done. It's safe to say these two hate each other with a passion.
Fact is though, underneath her hard exterior, when you get her on her own, Yukino can be really nice - so why does she find it so hard to show it?
Nice as she may be, that doesn't mean she has nothing to hide. Like why does she keep sneaking into the Academy after dark? And more to the point, who is she meeting there... and why?
Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa is our brand new Visual Novel - focusing on the mysterious Fujisawa Academy and the students secrets on campus.
Together with your Demon Fox, Mon-chan, you must investigate the students and, wielding the power of Kotodama - a means of forcing the truth out of your target - you must get to the bottom of the Academy's secrets...

Character Introduction - Shuji Toyama
SHUJI TOYAMA
Fujisawa Academy's Track and Field Ace - Shuji Toyama is one fo the most popular students on campus...
In fact, he's so popular that he even has his own fan club - groupies that follow him wherever he goes and love to watch him train.
You'd think that all this attention would make him a big-headed douche, but... actually, Shuji's a pretty stand-up guy. Even tempered, considerate and an all round decent fella, he's particularly well liked by students and staff alike. That's not to say he doesn't have his share of skeletons in the closet, mind.
See, both Shuji's track times and grades have been slipping recently - with a number of no-shows in training.
And where, exactly, does he keep disappearing off to? You're going to have to gather some evidence and confront him - before calling on the power of Kotodama, to get to the bottom of it.
Character Introduction - Honoka Ichinose
HONOKA ICHINOSE
For today's character introduction I want to talk about Honoka Ichinose.
For those of you who maybe didn't catch our earlier announcements, Kotodama: The 7 Mysteries of Fujisawa is primarily a visual novel, and each chapter focuses on a specific character and mystery. The first chapter is the Mystery of the White Wolf - of which Honoka is the central character.
You meet Honoka very early on. She's a little shy, but well liked. She spends quite a bit of time alone and it is well known that she loves cute animals.
But here's the thing. Animals don't seem to like her back. And while she's clearly a lovely girl, there's a real sadness to Honoka - if only you could figure out why...
Only one way to find out! Wielding the power of Kotodama, you can get to the truth - whether you like what you find, of course, is another thing entirely.
