Just some small changes as we get into the home stretch to release out of Early Access at the end of the Fall.
Mostly just polishing the UI and Settings.
Settings now save when you restart that game.
A few small gameplay tweaks. Krampus laser eye attack has been tweaked so it is not so buggy in the final boss fight.
The front door doesn't open now in the house. Players were going outside and getting lost when getting outside was supposed to be an easter egg. Players now have to go out the backdoor if they want to find the SMG easter egg.

A few small tweaks with this update.
-The Flame Bottle acts less like a grenade, and more like a proper Molotov, breaking on impact when thrown vs rolling.
-Ragdoll on the Elves has been improved.
-A few minor map changes on the Arena in terms of placement of the flame trap.
Update v0.59 Survivor map change
Hello, all you horror shooter fans!
The map for the Survivor mode has been swapped out. People didn't seem to like the House map, so a Hell Battle Arena was added. This map has been custom created for Survivor mode in mind!
If you feel that the House map should stay, please comment to let me know.
The map features traps you can use against enemies and a dynamic design which will encourage high-intensity combat. The enemy waves have been slightly adjusted. Enemies will appear sooner and Krampus will appear in his Boss form.

Update V0.58 New Mini-Game "Hide and Seek" + Achievement!
Hey, all you horror fans, Merry Christmas in July.. err June.
I was recently inspired by some horror gameplay from a garrys mod game I saw on youtube and decided to add in a new mini-game to Krampus Kills.
Overview:
Hide and Seek
In Hide and Seek, Krampus has trapped you in the forest with a spell. You must find 3 grandfather clocks that are placed in random locations and destroy them to escape. Krampus will be hunting you the entire time. His speed and senses have been sharpened higher than what they are in the main game. If you hear his roar you need to find a hiding place immediately.
Hide and Seek comes with its own achievement.
Other news:
The Speed Run Leaderboard has been reset. Given that many changes have been made to the main game, the overall time to complete is different now vs earlier patches.
Given that the game is in Early Access, it was stated that these changes would be coming.

The following changes have been made to Krampus Kills.
New Item: Alarm Clock. Allows the player to use Slow Motion. The item is rare and hidden only on a few maps.
Krampus has a new attack. Homelander-style laser eyes (not on Easy mode) during the boss battle.
Krampus health has been buffed in the boss battle.
Your Stamina lasts longer while running and recovers faster.
Snowmen can throw snowballs at you now from a distance.
The Flame Bottle has been nerfed on the damage it does to Krampus, though still the most effective.
The Stun Gun works on the Snowmen now.
The SnowGlobes glow, this should make it easier to find them.
V0.56 New Weapon and Level!
Hello, all you horror shooter fans!
In this update, we got some cool changes.
-A new weapon has been added. The Incinerator! Basically a homemade blowtorch, aka flamethrower (as flamethrowers seem to be fan favs with all my games). But this isn't like the flamethrower in Fossilfuel, this thing will make quick work of weaker enemies and can clear a room in seconds! Plus it looks really cool when you use it. You can find it in the Park where the Snowmen are or in the Hospital by the front door reception room.
-The "Underworld" Level has been greatly expanded to be a "new" level. Before it was just a boss fight room, now it is a full level. I really thought that level looked really cool and wanted the player to spend more time there.
Tweaks: -Skeleton's health was reduced by 50%. They were a little too tankie. -Guns each have a unique sound when they are switched/equipped. -The Secret Final Boss battle has been tweaked to be a bit more epic.
V0.55 Update - Minor tweaking

Just doing some detailed tweaking. Mainly on the Nightmare and Hard difficulty in regards to enemy placement.
The Cemetery map varies a lot now based on difficulty. I felt that was the weakest level in the game so I am focusing on cleaning it up.
Added more ammo to the game, as players seemed to be getting low in youtube run-throughs on higher difficulties.
V0.54 Upgraded to Unreal 4.27 (Re-install recommended)
Hello, horror-action fans,
Krampus Kills has been converted over to Unreal 4.27 from 4.26 to take advantage of the new particle effects that engine version offers. Given the updated engine, to save on disc space a recommended re-install is advised. Note your save games will be ok with a re-install.
Other changes
-Reindeer health has been slightly nerfed. -There are now 3 types of skeletons. Slow, Fast, and Giant. -The Cemetery map has been heavily tweaked. The map is supposed to be a stealth map where players can sneak around, failing to sneak around will result in a hundred enemies pouring into the cemetery. -Graphics are set to high by default for first-time users.

-There is now a Motion Blur toggle in the settings -Motion Blur and VSync are on by default (both can be turned off in settings) -Fixed a small bug where the Molotov bottle would make Krampus glitch out -Fixed a bug where the wrong music would randomly play on the secret final boss -The arm texture on the hand has been slightly improved
Vo.52 Nightmare Mode, and New Secret Ending!

Nightmare mode unlocks when you beat the game on any difficulty. Nightmare mode refreshes the entire games experience. Enemies will be coming at you in new and challenging ways. Everything is thrown at you! This mode if for the elite and speed run gamers to have fun with.
Secret Ending. Nightmare mode has a new and exciting ending to reward players that beat it.
New (Hidden) Achievement has been added for those that get to the end of Nightmare mode.
Killing enemies will refill your sprint stamina, allowing you to string enemy kills together and keep running, this was done for Speed Runner.
Other
-In game text tips now reflect the key bindings. -Buffed the Gatekeeper boss on lower difficulty settings. -Added hiding spots in the house. You can now hide in the closets.
