In the first six months of 2020 I began wondering how inertia would look like in a dream.
Many who eat themselves from the inside out because of desperation would consider it a duty to curl up under the brightest sun and wait for a shadow in insane anger.
Two or three centuries ago such a conduct could be considered a temptation. I don’t know the details, but I do know that there are specific biographies describing similar symptoms.

I have admitted that KROTRUVINK development is not as fortunate as I’d like it to be. And that’s why it was important to me to make this decision.
Social media have greatly adapted to their task of pouring out a stream of small notes and the last Zolynh post mentioned a hiatus “until the very end of October”.
Now, after three months of work I would like to put it here - “The 22nd is Serda. f0a178”:

That’s it, a sort of a choice.

In addition to the information described in the links below, there is, I feel, a need to often remind that: even though it is a small journey conceived with elements from KROTRUVINK, this experience has an absolutely new albeit slightly unfinished, space with new mechanics, new places and new rules.

Because no matter what we delude ourselves with, there is something that we have bonded over.
I mean right now, we can observe a sort of fatigue and willingness to be supportive for eons, even if such a recall suffocates the original source of “inspiration”.
This is in quotation marks because the word ”inspiration” doesn’t have the same meaning and limits than it did for everyone 5 years ago. To not get lost in it and to save a candle for the pioneers, we need expectations to find the Reason for everything.

I hasten to say that it is not the same Video that should have appeared. Not this time.
Of course, this simply means that it’s an intangible room to look forward to.
And I wish I could camouflage my thoughtfulness in a perfect rattle but this update is only a wire for the previous one where words were planted obscenely tightly for a small article.
Summary for June-July is that now it’s easy for me to get the impression that numbers don’t really help people anymore. I assume it’s a fallacy but not the worst one.
However, I’m a compulsory man and if I can find an alternative then I must show a perverse signal. This time I found it:

This is not exactly an update. Frankly speaking, I have been impressively affected this year in a not really desirable way and right now I couldn’t exactly describe what the standards of this update are in principle...
The plan is that the second part of this article will come approximately in a month, give or take.
The Video and I cherish an illusion that it will be unlike previous ones for the KROTRUVINK playlist.
Stricter, less partial and with “in depth” demonstration.
The objective right now is to point out that the process is still boiling.
Because recently I have got a letter. It sounds much too romantic. It was an email, of course.
Handwritten letters actually addressed to me, I held only twice in my life.
However it was not a simple mail that I could read and think about indefinitely. It was thorny in its simple question about how the development is going.
And it is not the first subject of this matter in the recent months.

Solo-indie development is a difficult thing, but not impossible (it depends on what you compare it to, of course). It simply just takes time.
It is a little harder at the present, I won’t pretend that I’m eternal. But I’m also not that naive to seriously assume that this is a comfortable text to speculate on the “importance theory”.
I’ve already written about this, but given present practice, maybe it’s just a very complex topic for arcs.
I’m not using game assets or free audio. I’m not buying ready-made textures, no photos from search results and other things. Nothing that is not associated with the main KROTRUVINK aroma. Even in terms of technical realization. This means that everything is handcrafted.
I don’t think it’s accessible to build a unique state to date. Human cultural history is an insidious form of revelations and ignorance.
So I don’t think it’s possible but I believe it’s possible to at least try crystallizing that note again and again.
I don’t seek to copy my inspirations and am actually trying to compete with it.
And I know I am repeating myself here, but these basic steps don’t make KROTRUVINK development hours more difficult than it should be.
But am I that patient in all my decisions?
This year some of the flowers should be removed off the KROTRUVINK field in an act of prudence.




I wonder, how does a player enter a genre? By becoming a hostage of perception.
Maybe in a pleasant affection the preferences or moods don’t matter at all and we can rely on very simple things, such as passion and knowledge.
I know someone who can answer “Not likely”.

In most parts of the world holidays are coming and it’s a wonderful reason to make the tenth update.
I felt incredibly ill and in my datura I realized what is the most important reward of life once again and that is why today is no subtle chronology. Instead it is more joy!
A bit of it as a formality and a bit of it is a mess, but without asphyxiation this time.
So, this is a sequential KROTRUVINK’s update where I’m deluded by how notably brief it is.

Maybe the manner of reasoning in this article is too careful in definitions (Mr. Bear is particularly engulfed), but I’m absolutely happy with everyone who’s supporting KROTRUVINK and Zolynh by default.
To tell the truth, what I find that is a problem for me is my complete lack of boredom.
You see, I can amuse myself with my mind and it is the only reason why I haven’t given up and still don’t play by the “dictionary”.
I adore it when Hearts have a choice.

I’m amazed with every Steam curator whose email I got in recent months.
It is a difficult task to find a direction in the middle of the modern barricade.
I see it as a pure tune of journalism - and that’s a compliment where I’m really grateful, no matter what goals are hidden there.
But the time has not yet come.
These weeks almost all indie-game blogs have been packed with trophies and other boxes marked as “insane labour”... What other basis could be there?
A choice to read about broken bones.
Whose are they?

What KROTRUVINK is hiding in itself are very different organisms. At least I wish for it to be so, but by the end of development things might change. Fall apart even.
Today I want to introduce you the result of my imaginary appetite and obsession.
This is Ropoolvyz.
The NPC description that skims the temples, as a contradiction or a starting point for future changes, can be: primitive, narcissistic, bound by its own fear.
A little rough if boorish profile, until you think about it as a relative ghost. That is half of the plan.
What is important is that this character has been making a real effort behind the scenes lately to dump part of her worldview before the Great Guest arrives. Meanwhile time is short.



A bit of fluff:
For KROTRUVINK the characters’ anatomy could be altered, but only if there are matching combinations.
Priority is to reflect on the intricate details from the beginning.
Because I report to myself I don’t need to create preliminary stains, I can use that time to add identity instead. When working on a model and any material for it I pay special tribute and attention to the “endangered specificities”.







Illusory golden means, partially restricted in a comprehensive development and not approachable in lesser scale without thoughtful practice.
Nuances are what counts during the process. That’s why I’m risking to know how it all will shine as a form.



What’s it to do with the broken bones?
In my case I haven’t been able to find consolation in a “traditional” variety for the software I’m using.
To animate characters I proceeded from testing unchained, independent bones (where possible), even placed them into, let’s say “disturbing” positions if necessary. That’s an awful lot of quality time spent, but also an improvisational, artistic freedom. For some reason such a pointless, wrong practice allows me to get the orange characters’ plasticity.

It’s much different from the “original” engine chemistry, but it’s so exciting to show the animated version in real-time 3D.
I would like to stop by the number [...]23, because оne thing causes me a certain amount of grief - as Acomys keeps telling me:”we all have different criteria of quality”.

Every new announcement I’m trying to get rid of those aspects that you could call extraneous for this blog’s Health.
This is not a very logical point of view based on my observations, and in fact I’m supposed to endlessly echo Zolynh’s every gesture as a colorful piñata.
Is that so easy?… Here I trust not only in logic, but in a sort of elementary respect to those who are ready to look at all my marks in the corner of their eye and those who are ready to see KROTRUVINK news.
Of course, some aspects could exist in a summarised form for exceptional cases.
But I post more than usual in Zolynh’s receptacles lately, that’s why “N6-N4-N6,” here is complete.

[What is an understanding of carelessness]1;


Even though ‘peace facility’ implies the presence of textual objects, we can figure out that almost every word to date was doubtful.
To paraphrase a man who at the time was under the guise of a taxi driver, after he found out about my line of work, he said “Be sure to add numbers. They hide the answers to everything”.
That is the person, whose dreamy face I remember pretty well. That is also why it’s difficult to follow his advice.
Of course, I accept the possibility that numbers do not always align with their original purpose. The importance of which people don’t talk about much anymore… The point is... Eight.
Eight updates that come with separate rules of the game that has already started.
But what I am faced with now is how subtle it is and I don’t know whether it is right or wrong yet…

The number eight is accurate only if we are talking about KROTRUVINK.
Summertime gave me the chance to explore a technical aspiration. It brought me great discoveries.
I’ve already tried to clarify how uncomfortable I am with copying announcements from wrong joints, but at the same time, apparently, links to “rooms” are not very effective and thus partial retelling can be apt.
So in a short summary: I don’t renounce practice.
I have finished two jams and abandoned the third.



Aside from unintended bugs that could not be squashed in time, some are intentionally left, leaving us with the limited window mode.
Because the time frames have forced me to not gamble with aspect ratio options. Which, by the way, have been bothering me, and continue to do so with regard to KROTRUVINK, too.
The quantity of non-standard monitors has increased in recent years and it is hard to tell how proper a composition would look like on one or the other before someone’s eyes.
It could thus be theoretically argued or I can overestimate this part of the task.
The “Steam Hardware & Software Survey” statistics presently show the primary display resolution is still standing at 1920x1080 and multi-monitor at 3840x1080.
But that simplistic view doesn’t take into account the likelihood that with the resources I don’t have I won’t be able to get an ideal solution.
So, why do I bother mentioning this anyway?
By considering the amount of time and strength that were spent during the process, the “Pipe & 3 legs” envisaged an opportunity for donations in order to help with KROTRUVINK’s development.
And as a Thank-You, in response to a manifestation of generosity prior to the publication of this update (so as not to cause an “indigestible” precedent), I offer You an imminent letter with access to the final results. Whatever they may be.





[Cleansing the message]16;


Each person is different, and that is reflected by the way they think. We could argue whether it is appropriate to rely on the experiences of a given person or not, but once we get over similar ideals we can then agree either partially or absolutely.
Some of these ideals make one unable to offer sudden insights over the hidden, non-obvious things.
We often see how it all comes down to demonstrations of small pieces, upon which many minds manage to trade with each other.
And I’ve unfairly concluded that it’ll be useful for this move.
Because the KROTRUVINK story also has those pieces. And yet, I didn’t let myself faff about something so basic…

The fact is that this development has a purpose.
Objectives which, even if they are harmless, are completely different from the standard developer diet.
Maybe that is the reason for this dramatic mystery to start here? With the “Delusional attacks” pointed at me?
Most often they emanate from fake accounts or vague faces, drowning in the noise. Such accounts are generally either deleted after a few weeks or rehabilitated into advertisement/clandestine store profiles.
Perhaps now my game’s presentation looks crazier than it really is.
But you know, I think it’s pretty blithely to try to tell somebody what he should NOT do.
Instead it is preferable to both waste energy and DO something yourself, speculating from the disgruntled person’s point of view of course.
I understand that invasive emotions are not always loyal to the human mind.
Certainly, that vexes me.
Usually I would have stepped over this angle and focused on destroying the abyss.
Despite myself, this time I think it is better to say a couple of words about those whom I “trusted” greatly a while back.
I’m afraid that this year I’ve “fallen”, again, for a beautiful slogan and a useless set of restrictions.
It is bothering me that they had access to my parcel.
Like last year, I’d keep a little protection for myself because I am greedy when it comes to accuracy.
Cut dialogues, audio, special errors in special places, disabled events and variables. They only got the small bits, but that still makes me very angry.
I realized rather late that I have sent my due diligence to the the wrong place full of dubious sponsorship but alas.
It is a stressful thing or just kind of hard (depending on the scale of the game), to cut out a level from a unified system. Traditionally, removing other areas and redecorating models may be a waste of time most of the time… The ones responsible for my current turmoil were free to choose and based on their choices I can’t read it as anything else but as spitting on my own efforts.



[An Era for those who want to talk and those who want to discuss]22;
It just becomes much harder to find simple words when a vast amount of work becomes damaged against the cliffs of ancient ties. So where did I get my words from?
Well, there are magical people who, if they make a choice they can deliberately decide to avoid the “chemical” signals of routine and instead get carried away.
They’re fine-tuning my mood algorithms. Any small “vibration” can help KROTRUVINK, because I…
Because I’m bound by my objectives and I have to work hard to sustain this development.

It came out literally on April Fools day, so don’t be surprised to see a different name in the interview about “KROTRUVINK”.
Jeff Porter provided necessary to me support on this difficult road and gave me a Hollow Flower filled with essential petals and the freedom to outline them as I wanted.
It’s immortal.
To date, it’s a real example of the independent and diversified game press.
Special thanks to those who post annotations and notes and those who have been following Zolynh’s social account for more than a week.
Maybe it’s a very ceremonial phrase, but it fascinates me deeply to see how scraps of information can still circulate on the Internet without pipes.
Come to think of it, this part has already described what was noted on Zolynh, in a single place.

If it seemingly happened this year again, why should I not share these “infected” parts?
Because it’s incorrect and was only meant for private viewing and finalization prior to “the date”.
Now it’s meaningless to increase this passage.
I crossed this doorstep on eggshells only to find out that these visual sacrifices weren’t fruitless.
So far, I have also learned what technical features do not function properly in the engine or should be tested on different machines. First and foremost however, I need to calm down.
Like the air coming from a synthetic balm cap.
From the beginning of the year, months have been slipping away and recent spurts have been missed due to a doubtful job.
The purpose of this experiment is to counterweight products that are speculating on the “spicy soup”, using templates with mashed up ideas belonging to other people’s quotes.
Maybe their sponsored approach is effective, but what does it matter? What will each one of them talk about after all? What is their message? Only echoes, I guess.
That’s why I’ll take more time for SUMRLIHSEP, emphasis on practicability.

Often I’m faced with situations where identical questions were given to me.
And they were: “Why are game descriptions so poor?”
Well, I think this holiday is a good time as any for an answer!
I find that in the context of indie game development it is typically the case that there is just too much information on a game, unfortunately.
First, I still stand by my conclusion that truly unique decisions are a myth. It is also incredibly hard to remain impartial. Usually when you see something that not only looks like the thing you’ve made, but it also simplifies your statements with laughable changes.
I’m not going to write my biography here, but let’s just say that again, despite the fact that this game is still early in development, I found other, shadier minds that are stripping away my artistic direction without any idea on how to do it right.
Story pieces, visual elements and even audio being taken away or more precisely - music excerpts from various videos.
I found a very recognizable pattern in one of those “games” that began to appear just as soon as my Idea was shown, (which also allows me to speculate on krotruvink’s design mood). I do not think they are as good as mine in quality because they don’t know my “secret” so it sounds like a clumsily made sci-fi musical theme, but I shall let others be the judge of that.
Still, it’s very similar vis-à-vis to my dynamic.
Indeed, those are lazy minds. All I can hope for now is to be acknowledged enough before my diligence will be taken away from me once again.
Paradoxically, circumstances are such that I’m incapable of competing with others in the information spreading race at this moment.
Game essence is too important to me and it takes up a lot of time.
My joy here lies in the accuracy - I predicted content loss and carefully hid some details from the chain. It is quite hard to explain or show proof of the differences between plagiarism and coincidence in a few words. It is however easier to make sure that every copy of the Idea will be a worse copy of the original.



[About calendar and demo]28;

For the last year I have obeyed the “two months rule” for news (depending on the type of update in distinct social media of course) and it proved to be quite draining for a single man to work with. Even with Mr. Bear’s support.
As it appears right now, the information about Krotruvink is still is very specific from other major projects for now, more often than not (but not always C:) it becomes noticed by those who would want to use it for their own purposes.
Which is quite unorthodox too, relative to human avarice of course, but this form of “bullets” doesn’t want to be a non-inherent part of the game’s body and only wants to stomp it before “Krotruvink” will be ready.
That is the crux as to why future updates will beсome truly different.

I have a keen willingness to complete it before April-May 2019.
During demo development, updates will be fragmented. Might be a little bit incomprehensible, but it’s a great opportunity to save my resolve and foray into usual fiction.

Maybe I can be a bit too outspoken, but I know exactly that, given the right circumstances, there is a lot of pressure in the web to invest a specific amount of time in reading “dense” information. So, why not leave a note about anything whenever I see fit?
For the record, on other matters new to me:
NO - I am not selling this game anywhere right now, it’s not ready.
Understandably, it is NOT always the same person on the Internet who sends out signals under similar or even the same alias. The Internet is quite a careless place and not all profiles with the name “Valdram” – are true.

[Addendum, or rather Permission for making a mess]10;
* - Just last month I have participated in a Megajam and finished my prototype to completion, called “My Bird is hjcrjiyf”. I have created it in 7 days for the Jam.


I really enjoyed such an experience and I’m going to further experiment in new suitable possibilities. I need only to find a nice jam theme and a desire to make it real.

Rarely is the human mind infused with appetite, more often instead it is a curiosity of a dubious meaning.
Although the last community update has not been that long ago, there’s a chance that a few people will read or notice posts on Zolynh’s social pages, passed via a link to the topic (and I’m still trying to comply with the two months rule).
Therefore I will be carefully focusing on what is important and on the folding boxes.



[AUTONOMOUS NOTHING]21:

It is very easy to tell that some things in life rotate periodically.
And it is not always the circumstances in those periods that match our expectations. What is particularly upsetting is when the dependency of those circumstances are proportionally inverted to the forces expended.
The start of this summer season proved to be such a point, where it became clear that without additional resilience I might not make KROTRUVINK before the end of this year.
And indeed, I’ve been slightly devastated with this knowledge.
Reason: shortage of free time. Because every game needs time and every “leisure” time requires personal support.
So, let us say that I have reached many bus stops already and it wasn’t a useful or a reasonable experience.
I can write long and plenty about how I impudently didn’t take into account that interpretation isn’t always equal to true meaning.
It weren’t murky chambers but just me making a hasty choice.
As a result of this reckless activity I lost even more time and strength during a two month period for nothing, wrecked my calendar and faced the possibility of losing certain “things” from small areas (fragments, in theory, you can observe over this text).
The good part is – I kept a little protection.
What I assume is that I am extremely paranoid, but then how can I just send anything over with so little guarantee... Well, without a second thought I disabled parts of the interface design elements, logic intersections and a rather “special” mechanic, leaving what is strictly necessary in an already modest pack.

It seems that my paranoia was justified after all.
Of course it may seem overly ambitions to write, but I had enough options available at that time. Rationally I came to think it’s about time to defer to one’s intensive heartful research and run a little more.



[RACE TO RUN]14:

But, I will not give up.
Let me explain first why the demo version is such a tough gamble for me. KROTRUVINK is not based on a single level or a stage system but relies on an open world where you are free to go in any direction to any of the previously visited locations and some of the “digs” (basically a fast travel system) are calculated for long distances.
The loading system right now uses world vectors where the game loads the whole world at once.
Needles to say, the game is still in development and it is too messy right now to take something out of it and separate it from the main thing.
Every function in the game is defined by unique events on levels and since I don’t want to show all of the subgroups for specific reasons (quite understandable reasons at that, as I described in a previous section) it can be quite troublesome.
But since I finally had the chance to practice, I think it’s a great idea to waste myself away and prepare a full fledged demo version. To split the contradiction, so to speak.
It’s unclear how quickly I can prepare it, but secretly hope I will be impatient.
Of course, it also depends on certain conditions.
Yet, when the time comes, even though it implies public access, initially I wanted to organize a mode of distribution through coins based on a currency set from the game.



Depending on a type of coin I hoped I could mix-up the process a little. And somehow define who I am going to give special coins for testing before opening the demo gates.
Because first, one must dance with the squeaky shoes.

This year I wish to catch up with other goals, a few relating to the behavior in this development.
Also it would be interesting to try one’s skill and sign up for a game jam. I think this would be a spectacular plunge into the generally short race. To get some needed distraction from the long, resonating corridor.
I’d love to write about it, but not as a KROTRUVINK post on Steam or IndieDB. After all, I’m trying to keep the information clean and on topic here.

I creating KROTRUVINK in a long-standing passion for gaming culture. It’s not a desire to make just anything as I’m trying to make something explicit.
Each element, every sound and mechanic, except localization, are self made.
It takes a lot of time and resources, which should be mined and prepared, a lot of enthusiasm and aspirations for the idea I have.
When someone is affected by such a shell of costly targets, that person can be scattered with different quills.
And I would like to explain this row, ever since February this year I have been distracted by many types of spam attacks.
Again mostly benign, deadbeat spam but that is not all of it.
Certain attacks looked disgustingly aggressive and were possibly aimed to steal my accounts.
I don’t know why these miscreants are so insistent about my profiles.
Sadly, this makes it SIGNIFICANTLY more difficult to work on any deadline.
Unsurprisingly, some of the more expected spam tactics, like “free keys”, and let me be clear, I don’t consider EVERY letter with “review key/key request” and etc. in the title to be spam, however, right now I have A LOT OF automatic emails with the same subject.
Actually, it’s preposterous and particularly tedious to ignore, because I don’t have that much of a concerned real audience right now.
Well, and here I’m wasting enough symbols for this anecdote.

Decided to write this paragraph separately.
Initially, I am planning on starting distribution of the game's playable version neatly on a calendar (I run my indicative timetable).
But with all that stress from continuous attacks and lack of reason to publish or disseminate playable builds as soon as possible, I think it’s totally understandable that I can’t keep to desired “mind schedule”.
Anyway… Closed beta test is planned and will be done without any doubt.
Moreover, if by then I will find a few real concerned players, my particular interest would be expanded to different configurations, where participants could help me to make KROTRUVINK better and exterminate all technical inconsistencies.



But because of the special few who arise occasionally like a mirage, those talkative identities who periodically send me messages and express their, at first glance, quite plausible interest I believe all problems are not that big of a deal after all.
