August 19th 2021 Weekly Maintenance Patch Notes

New Karma - Crimson Lily
Name: Crimson LIly
Weapon: Double Glaive
Type: Melee, Breaker
Crimson Lily is a Breaker that uses Double Glaive as its weapon.
Crimson Lily can sustain its attacks by freely changing forms of Double Glaive. Its skills consume HP in return for higher attack and even lifesteal depending on the situation. How long you sustain yourself off this lifesteal is entirely up to you and how you handle it. With high damage and sustain from lifesteal, Crimson Lily poses a new threat on the battlefield.

Improvement to maximum party size
Following the 4vs4 Normal Match update, we changed maximum party size to 4 players.

Bug Fix
1) Fixed the bug where if karma was switched quickly while dashing, dash would activate again after the switch
2) Fixed the bug where Sacred Guardian would occasionally drop straight to the ground when using Crusade in the air.
3) Fixed the bug where the debuff duration increase passive did not apply to stun from Sacred Guardian’s ‘Crusade’
4) Fixed the bug where after dying from Dual Soul’s ‘Rend’, debuff icon would remain after reviving
5) Fixed the bug where if Lightning Fang’s ‘Tomb of Blades’ is used, the effects of it would also be shown to other characters.
6) Fixed the bug where Lightning Fang would sometimes not be able to combo after chase depending on what action speed the Lightning Fang user has.
7) Fixed issues with PVP skill balance adjustments affecting PVE

- During the Event Period, play using the Crimson Lily Karma to receive 30% bonus to AP / CP / DP.

Improvement to maximum party size

August 4th 2021 Weekly Maintenance Patch Notes

PVP Season 9
Pre-season has ended and Season 9 will begin. Your Season 9 Rank will depend on your rank from Season 8. All ranks will go down by 3. The highest rank you can get from the reset is B1 and the lowest is D1. However, all E ranks will be reset to E1

Season Pass and Season Points and their associated rewards you acquired during the Pre-season will be maintained into the regular season. You can use them until end of Season 9.

Karma Balance
[Sword Taliah]
• Spinning Rising Slash: Reduced damage and break damage (PVP)
[Diabolic Witch]
• Mana Ray: Fixed to not let it penetrate through terrain
[Blazing Fist]
• Blazing Strike: Reduced damage (PVP)
• Reduced break damage of first LMB attack from charging RMB
- Fixed break damage to properly scale based on how long RMB was charged
• Ultimate Heat: Fixed to register the attack even if you are in the same position as the enemy.
[Sacred Guardian]
• Judgment: Reduced damage (PVP)
[Ruler of Darkness]
• Death Blossom: Reduced damage (PVP)

Skill Icon Improvements
Improved the appearance of skill icons for each Karma so that they are easier to distinguish.

Bug Fixes
• Fixed the bug where certain weapons’ effects were taking place in abnormal positions
• Fixed the bug where weapon size would scale based on character’s Body Fat and/or Body Style during character customization.
• Fixed the bug where If a character’s Maturity was lowered, certain attacks and skill effects became bigger.
• Fixed the bug where Blazing Fist RMB charge grab followed by chase attack would drop the target if the target character had a specific Maturity.
• Fixed the occasional bug where if you quickly rotated through multiple characters in character select, the currently selected character’s hair would be changed to a different character’s hair.
• Fixed the bug where certain head accessories and gauntlet items would trail behind a moving character in Eltheca.
• Fixed the bug where breakfall animation would occasionally happen twice.
• Fixed the bug where if dash was repeated periodically, stamina would be used without activating dash.
• Fixed the bug where if Blazing Fist user grabbed and started attacking a Bellatos Claymore Soldier, the monster would disappear or the monster’s gauge bar would disappear.
• Fixed the bug where if Blazing Fist user used Blazing Strike in the opposite direction from where they were holding RMB, the character would slide first before activating the skill.
• Fixed the bug where at 120 fps, if Dance of Wind user uses certain skills while attacking with Cover Fire, the character would sometimes slide.

1. Season 9 Event Challenges!
1) Login for 30 min every day during the event period to receive ‘Start Season 9’ item, one of the materials needed to synthesize Season 9 Supply Boxes.
- Login event to obtain 'Start Season 9' item will reset daily based on UTC.


2) Collect ‘Season 9 Tokens’ from playing PVP during the event
- Play 2vs2 Deathmatch or 4vs4 Normal Match to get 1 guaranteed ‘Season 9 Token’ whether you win or lose. Get up to total of 9 tokens per day.
- PVP rewards of 'Season 9 Tokens' will reset daily based on local server time.

3) Season 9 Supply Box Synthesis
- Use Start Season 9 item and Season 9 Token to synthesize the rewards listed below

You can purchase the ‘Season 9 Pass Bundle’, which has been on sale since the UTC+0 2021 July 7th (Wed) maintenance.
Season points you have accumulated from the pre-season will carry over into Season 9 and be effective until the end of Season 9.

Season 9


Pre-Season 9 will come to an end on UTC+0 2021 August 4th (Wed) Maintenance.
Your rating will be soft reset based on your Season 8 performance and your new rank will be applied with Season 9.
Season 8's rank rewards have been available at your first login since Pre-season 9 began. This reward will be claimable until the end of Season 9.
Make sure to claim your unclaimed rewards before Season 9 ends.

Destruction Improvements
- Reduced experience needed to level up (46%)
- Reduced neutral monster HP (33%)
- Reduced HP of Outer Towers (50%)
- Reduced HP of Base Tower (20%)
- Changed respawn area to also heal mana and stamina
- Reduced Attack Power of summoned Lesser Golem after defeating the Neutral Golem. (40%)

Karma Balance Changes
[All Karmas]
- Increased maximum stamina (33%)
- Removed stamina cost from swap attacks

[Diabolic Witch]
- Reduced Chase attack stamina cost (40%)

[Soul of Magus]
- Reduced chase attack stamina cost (49%)

Bug Fixes
• Fixed the bug where it was possible to attack with certain Karmas after chase attack even when there was no stamina left.
• Fixed the bug where stamina recovery was displayed as 2.00% as best option (yellow) for Costume Weapon.
• Fixed the bug where characters would be stuck in Diabolic Witch’s Ice Wall if it was used in certain positions
• Fixed the bug where after charging RMB with Sacred Guardian, if Crusade was used during multi hit attacks, the endurance that was gained from charging would remain.
• Fixed the bug where if you chase attacked with a different Karma then swapped to Fallen Light to make the following airborne attacks, grounded attacks would happen instead.
