Thank You For Playing The NextFest Demo! + Upcoming Announcements

Hi everyone!

Thank you first of all for such tremendous support during the Steam Next Fest. We received a msddibr outburst of support through the NextFest and just wanted to thank everyone for their continuous interest in the game. We are all working as hard as possible to ensure that the game will be as fantastic as possible for everyone. We also wanted to first mention that the demo will remain up and unlike the initial Scream Fest demo, people will be able to continue to enjoy and leave feedback for us prior to launch.

With that said, we did want to answer the big burning question - when WILL the game launch? We cannot give specifics yet (at least today...), but are happy to say that the game will be released before summer of this year. We are currently content complete, so we are currently implementing player feedback from the NextFest as well as finalizing internal QA, localization, and testing.

We are happy to say we will have final news in April announcing more specific information. Please stay tuned! Once again, we cannot thank everyone enough for their support here.

We will be back soon with more announcements and previews for the full game. We can't wait to share our exciting upcoming announcements and trailers with everyone. See you all soon!

New Showcase Trailer + Horror Game Awards Participation

Hi everyone,

We're happy to announce that we're participating in this year's Horror Game Awards, whose steam page is being hosted by the game's publisher, Top Hat Studios. As per our participation in this year's awards, we've revealed a brand new trailer, showcasing another weapon in your arsenal; the axe.

Labyrinth Of The Demon King features a wide array of different weapons that each come with their own playstyle, types of damage, and pros and cons. We previously showcased the trusty katana, which can be viewed here:

This will probably be the last you hear from us for the remainder of the year, but don't worry - we will have very exciting news in early 2025. People can look forward to the return of the demo very soon in the new year, followed by some other very exciting news.

Thank you to everyone for your support as usual! We can't wait to see you all in the new year.

Thank you for playing Labyrinth's Scream Fest Demo! + Upcoming Roadmap

Hello everyone,

We wanted to give a sincere thank you to everyone who has played Labyrinth's demo during the Scream Fest. The support we've received has been unbelievable, and it's been amazing to see the feedback for the game and how widespread acclaim for it has been. As mentioned, we have removed our demo from Steam for the time being (current players will retain access) - please do not worry though, the demo will return sometime soon!

In the meantime, the feedback from everyone has been hugely appreciated. Here are some things we are working on addressing, which should rear their heads around for the full release (or the next public demo!):

  • Recovery Item Balancing
  • Stamina/Sprinting Balancing
  • UI & Visibility Improvements
  • Hardcore Mode
  • Sound Design Tweaks/Improvements
  • Combat Smoothing / AI Tweaks
  • Collision Fixes
  • Options Improvements - Vsync, Keybinding, etc.

Once thing we'd like to address is we have heard worries from our discord community regarding our desire to make certain improvements to the game based on feedback; so everyone knows, we have no plans to change the core gameplay of course. Our design philosophy is very set in stone; that being said, much of the feedback we received was very valid and missed/overlooked during our testing process - things such as the UI being hard to read at times, or combat being easily cheesed. These are all things which we would like to fix to ensure an optimal experience for everyone. Essentially, our goal is for the next version of the game which everyone plays to simply be an even better version of what you've played already - not an entirely new game as some people may be concerned about.

Once again, we can't thank everyone enough for playing the demo, and supporting the game. We'll have more news soon on the revamped demo as well as our launch window. See you all soon!

Scream Fest Ending - 24 Hours Left To Grab Limited Time Demo

Hello everyone,

This is just a quick note that the demo for Labyrinth of The Demon King will be up for another 24 hours. While the Scream Fest is ending today, we wanted to give a small amount more time to everyone and general fair notification of such. To be clear, if you already have the demo downloaded/claimed, it will remain in your library regardless of public availability - the demo removal is only disabling new downloads for the time being.

We can't thank everyone who has downloaded the demo enough; the support for the title has been amazing and feedback given to us has been greatly appreciated. As an extremely small team, everyone who has checked out the demo has been vital to the game's development. We will be back soon with a new, updated demo during the next Steam NextFest as well! Thank you once again to everyone. We will also have news regarding a final release sometime very soon ;)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN - LABYRINTH'S DEMO IS OUT NOW!

Hello everyone, and happy halloween!

We are excited to announce that Labyrinth's demo is OUT NOW. We wanted to ensure we could give everyone the best Halloween treat possible.

As mentioned in our last post, this demo features a first-ever public peak at the game online. It features the introductory sequence(s) and a portion of the first tower of the Labyrinth, which includes much of the lower floors and sequenced events up until...a certain unfortunate event.

As a reminder, we have a Discord server as well, which we'd encourage everyone to join to leave their feedback for us: https://discord.gg/yy7javF

You can also leave feedback in the Steam discussion hub, and we will be responding to any points made there.

Thank you to everyone who has been supporting us and we hope you enjoy the demo!!

Happy Halloween!
