So after a while (and some personal stuff), I've finally got a new version of Labyrinthian I'm somewhat happy with (all things considered). I'll admit, it's still not quite what I had wanted when I originally started out making it, but It was a great learning experience (as will hopefully be evident between the original and the remake version).
The original version is still there as a separate launch option (The second one. They're both called "Labyrinthian". Not sure why...)
All things considered, I feel much better now that I have this out and done, and can move on to other potential projects. I'll see you guys in the future (hopefully...)
Possible Downtime
Not too sure how noticeable it'll be, but I'm in the middle of updating Labyrinthian with a new version while making the original launchable as well, and I'm rusty so it's a little trial and error. Sorry, but it shouldn't take too long, then there'll be another post on here as well.
What's planned for the future...
I know that this game isn't all that much, for now anyways.
Actually, as some have pointed out in the reviews already, this game is more of a proof of concept than the final version. I'm actually still working on the full version of it, though right now it would look quite a bit different than what's up right now.
The original Labyrinthian (which I'll probably re-name in the future) is made in Unity, but I'm actually working in Unreal Engine 4 now since I find it a lot easier to work with (at least, when it comes to doing anything even resembling coding).
I'm going to try and basically re-build the Original Labyrinthian in Unreal, but if that doesn't work out very well, then I'll just have it as a second launch option. Regardless, the Labyrinthian that exists right now will stay mostly (if not entirely) unchanged from it's current state.
I do want to stress however, that I am still working on expanding and improving the game as a whole. I'm plan on sticking to the main idea of the base version (simple maze game without traps or enemies), but I might mess around with some alternate game modes in the future.
I plan to start posting some occasional updates on what I'm working on, and would love your comments and suggestions.
Ya'll are the ones playing the game, it should be one you enjoy, right?
And on that note, before I get too far in the art style (if you can call it that), which style do ya'll like the best?

Personally speaking, my favorites are 1,2,3, and 4. They give me a somewhat nostalgic feel. My single favorite is number 1, since it kinda looks like a laser tag arena with blacklights and whatnot. So tell me, what's your favorite style, or do you have suggestions for one I didn't put up?
