8 Player Lobbies, Speed Increase and More!

Hey Everyone!

We've got some very exciting changes for Labyrinthine. They are as follows:


  • Support for up to 8 players in a lobby (this may cause some issues on lower end hardware)
  • Moderately increased speed for both players and monsters
  • Higher intensity on the flashlight
  • FOV slider has been added to the options
  • Lighting has been improved in both Chapter 4 and the Case Files
  • Reworked the jump animation to feel smoother and removed the "stutter" when jumping


We're excited to see what players think! So far our private and public playtesters have loved the changes. We're hopeful that it's going to be welcomed by the larger Labyrinthine community. For the sake of balance, items will still be 5 per lobby backpack. This is to prevent players from creating a larger lobby and then taking in 10 items, even if there are only 3 players in the lobby.

Alongside that, we also have the following fixes:


  • Various performance tweaks for players
  • Performance tweaks for monster navigation in the case files
  • Fixed a rare issue that made the mines casefile in-completable due to a disconnect pathway
  • Fixed player's shadow settings not updating for the flashlight if the quality was changed mid-game
  • Fixed a rare issue that could cause a connection error when joining a lobby
  • Fixed an area where you could get stuck at the start of Chapter 1
  • Fixed an error in localisation where it said "press" instead of "hold"

Patch 06/12/24

- Fixed the christmas hat taking up huge chunks of the map / lobby.

Labyrinthine Christmas Event Now Live



Hey everyone,

It's that time of year again and Christmas themed cosmetics are once again appearing in Labyrinthine. As standard, during events, rare cases will appear at a 4x rate and every non-hardcore cosmetic that appears has a 50% chance to be an event-themed item instead. There are no new cosmetics just yet, but all cosmetics from the previous Christmas events are available now.

Labyrinthine 2024 Halloween Cosmetics

Hi all,

13 new halloween-themed cosmetics have been added and are available to find in game.


  • 4 New rare pumpkin variants
  • 1 New spooky bracelet
  • 3 New glowsticks
  • 2 New lanterns
  • 1 New set of clothes (glows)
  • 1 New pair of glasses
  • 1 New music track


We have also pushed a fix for the Lobby brightness as well as some performance tweaks for VR.

Labyrinthine Halloween 2024



Hello Everyone!

It's the spooky season and once again, halloween cosmetics are spawning in Labyrinthine.

New cosmetics will be coming shortly. In the meantime, you will be able to collect the cosmetics added in the previous halloween events! The Event runs from the 1st of October until the 1st of November.

Small pre-event patch

- Added noticeboard stickers for all events
- Removed/Edited a few spawnpoints that spawned items inside objects
- Added arrows and the ability to skip the tutorial, as well as an infinite timer for the tutorial puzzle
- Several changes to try improve the performance of VR on Quest 2 headsets
- Added Serbian as an available language

Small update 27/06/24

- Removed the ability to respawn in zone 1 until you have passed a certain point
- Fixed a bug where monsters would run through walls on the backrooms
- Another fix for being killed at spawn on the swamp casefile
- Improved lighting visuals on the castle casefile to make things spookier
- Added the ability to buy multiple amounts of items in the lobby store
- Fixed floating cob web in Castle hallways
- Fixed cross that could sometimes get covered up by a door frame in Castle
- Fixed z-fighting at Dead Forest exit
