New Project Kickstarter Launch: XOXO Blood Droplets

We wanted to pop in and mention that our latest project, XOXO Blood Droplets, is now live on Kickstarter! It is, admittedly, a very different take on creepiness than what Lake of Voices has going on, haha. But we hope you’ll still get a kick out of this new, disturbing game of ours.

XOXO Blood Droplets is a cute, comedic, and creepy Visual Novel. The goal is to somehow romance a murderous boy without having the crazy dudes you didn't pick (or even the one you did) end your life. It doesn't tend to go well. In fact, usually it's pretty horrific.
JB has been attending the fancy boarding school Saint Sara Belle for almost a year now. Along with six others, she’s forced to join an after-school group created for students that are deemed ‘unfriendable’. JB is fine with that, especially ‘cause one of the awful people there is her special someone. It doesn’t matter that he has trouble getting along with people and is a murderer; he’s still perfect to her!
Well maybe.
No matter how many sparkly hearts consume her vision at the beginning, anything can happen in this place. The amount of twisted, winding ways the story can unfold is frightening. All you can count on for sure is that it will be crazy.

Minor Fixes & Patreon
Hello!
We've updated the Lake of Voices files to fix the few typos and the one bug that have been reported so far. There were some cases where a description would use the wrong name when referring to a specific character and one choice caused the game to not progress as it should if you let the timer run out. Those issue are gone now!

Yes, the day has finally arrived where everyone can enjoy seeing people drown miserably over and over, haha. It's fantastic to be able to put this game out there for people to try. Thank you so much for all the support that you’ve shown us during development! We seriously hope you enjoy the finished work.

There is a bit of a known issue with Lake of Voices. If you played demos from several months ago, saves from those demos will not be compatible with the finished game. Loading an old, unfinished file up will eventually lead to errors that will stop you from continuing. However, all you have to do is start from the beginning. You can use the skip or tab keys to fast forward through text you've already gotten and get back to the point you were at in a short amount of time. If you're worried any of your files might not work right, you can delete saves by hovering over the slot with your cursor and pressing the delete key. Then you can you can have totally fresh saves while playing through.
Fully Voiced Demo
The Lake of Voices demo has been updated to include full voice acting, as well as a couple small improvements and error fixes. It still stops at the same point as the original, though. There isn't any new script based content. If you haven't given the game a go or you have but are still curious about how the voices came together, please do give this demo a try! I really hope you'll enjoy it.
Important Notice: If you played the old version of the demo your saves will not work in this newer demo or the finished game. To delete old saves you can simply save over the slots with new data or hover over the spot with your cursor and hit the 'delete' key on your keyboard.

Kickstarter and Demo!
Hello everyone!
Thank you so much for checking this new project of ours out. There’s a demo to download here on the Steam page. It has over 17,000 words and a small amount of voice acting. We hope you'll enjoy the ride, if you give it a go.
We’re planning on having full voicing in the completed game. Which brings us to the Kickstarter we’re running! If that gets funded we’ll be to really bring the story to life by adding voices to all the conversations. It’d mean a lot to us if you gave our crowdfunding campaign a look.
