Next week there will be a bigger content update, but for now we've decided to push some of the changes:
New game mode: 'cozy mode' that slows down the game, removes some hostile events and makes the whole game much calm and cozy...
New building animations
You now get a prompt before you overwrite your current game save
Other minor fixes and Ui improvements
Next week the 'Ancient Wonders' update will bring not only fixes but new wonders, buildings and other important gameplay changes.
Thank you!
Version 0.5.2 - Repair option, balances and more

Here are other changes:
Market buildings now have the gold output capped at +10.
There is a new background music called 'Spring Season'!
The wind and water mills have been nerfed in their food producing bonus
The buildings list is now ordered. This will be improved further in a later patch.
Earthquakes will only destroy a maximum of 3 buildings
Some minor bugs in the UI and others
The next update should be a bigger one, there will be a new mode called 'cozy mode' that let's you play as a cozy and relaxed as possible, while the regular mode will be the one that is available now.
Thank you everyone for the great feedback!
Version 0.5.1 - Game speed and more fixes
Hello! Another day, another patch.
We have slowed down the game speed and done some adjustments that will impact the mid to late game.
The speed of the game has been slowed down by 33%. This should make the game more manageable but there will be more improvements on this matter
Improved the UI for the exchanges and markets
Now the demolish button won't stay enabled when you open the build list
Resource exchanges and markets have been 'nerfed', so they won't give so much gold
The 'Grand Pyramid' costs have been increased for some of the steps
Other UI improvements on resource costs
A new event will show up offering a storage building in case you don't unlock one past a certain year.
Other minor bugs
There is still a lot to improve regarding UI and others, a bigger update should drop next week with not only fixes but new buildings and events.
Thank you!

The reward building music track sometimes started to loop, it's now fixed
When you demolish a building it now shows a prompt so you can confirm what you want to destroy!
Improvements in UI when demolishing and selecting certain buildings
Fixed an issue where max city capacity would go up to a million
Small typos and missing text
Other minor bugs
We are aware of some of the issues reported and we have a long list of things to improve and fix. There will be a better explanation on how the unlocking of buildings work and more details on the victory conditions and requirements.
Thank you for the amazing feedback!
LakeSide is releasing on Steam Early Access September 28th!
Hello!
LakeSide is coming to Steam Early Access next week!
The game will have 2 victory conditions and plenty of buildings to choose from. It will also have a 'creative mode' that allows you to just create a side-scrolling city and watch the boats move across the lake.
But there is plenty more to come and a detailed roadmap will be shared soon.
Also LakeSide will be at EGX in London starting tomorrow, so check it out if you want to try the game.
Thank you!
LakeSide is coming soon!
Hello! Let's talk about the upcoming early access release, what it brings and the weeks after that.
If everything goes as planned LakeSide will be released later this month!
The early access is going to be released with some limitations but with the full game loop. - 2 Victory Conditions - More than 60 buildings - 3 terrains to build your city, but more coming soon - More than 20 unique events - A Creative mode that allows you to build your own custom city
But a lot of content updates are planned for the weeks after the early access launch. We already got a lot of new buildings and events to add but need just a little more time to see how the game is balanced while people are playing it and sending feedback.
A roadmap will be available during launch so you'll know what will be coming out next.
LakeSide is a city builder with resource management that can get harder as you progress and expand your city.
There is no fixed tech tree and each time you play you will receive different building rewards that you have to choose from. That means that each new game will be different and you will need to adapt to not only the available buildings but to random events that will complicate your citizen’s life.
From earthquakes to wildfires or unpleasant neighbors, each time you play things will always be different.
More updates and information about the game next week!

LakeSide demo in Steam Next Fest!
Hello!
Our cozy city builder is participating in the Steam Next Fest with a small demo available.
It's a pre-alpha build with just the early game buildings available. There is a lot missing from the demo so don't expect this to be anywhere near the final product.
The demo will be updated with small fixes and minor features in the coming days.
Also you can leave feedback in the demo sub forum!
