Now that we've gotten the foolery out of the way, I'm happy to announce that the beta for Episode 6 is now open to everyone. You can access the new content by participating in the beta from the games properties.
Please remember it's still a work in progress, so if you encounter any bugs or some things seem missing, let me know on the forums. The full public release will come in a few weeks with a little additional content that we don't talk about.
I really hope you like this new episode, I've busted my ass these last few weeks to get it into a presentable state. :)

November 12th Update
Hey!
I added the ability to turn of all the lighting effects in the Unity5 version since some players experienced a black screen when the lights were used. It's an extremely rare occurence but a serious one nevertheless. So now you can press CTRL in the VHS title screen to turn all of the used effects off! This is not a permanent solution but more of a quick fix so everyone is able to enjoy the game. Although you are all probably playing Fallout 4. ;)

Happy Halloween! Lakeview Cabin 5 released!
The new episode is finally officially out! Huge thanks to the awesome community who have helped me tremendously these last few weeks. The game wouldn't be what it is without all of you!
This time the Lakeview Cabin series takes a mysterious turn. An unkillable evil is stalking the teens in a quiet suburban neighborhood. It is up to you to get rid of the curse and find out what is happening by solving a series of obscure puzzles. Do you have what it takes?
Other news:
The game is currently going through the transition of moving from Unity 4 to Unity 5. The new version should fix the the audio problems some people have experienced and improve performance. There will be some hiccups with this new engine, so until all the issues are solved, the default version will still use Unity 4. You can access the Unity 5 version from the games properties if you're interested in trying it.
Also! Lakeview Cabin IV has also gone through some changes. The episode now uses a much less intrusive color palette and a lot of the performance issues have been solved.
Thanks to all the players and I hope you have a scary Halloween!
PS: You can follow me on Twitter (@Hypnohustler) for small updates on the status of the game and sneak peeks of the next episode.

Next episode: Curse Of The Lake, coming July 15th
Hey,
First of all, really sorry for the lack of updates on the games status! I'm working on the game mainly solo and I just can't seem to find the time to interact with the community as much as I'd like. It's no excuse though, and I'm going to try to focus more on these other aspects in the future so you don't feel like I'm just being a lazy asshole.
So about the next episode! Set in a mansion on the other side of the lake, your goal is to escape a cannibalistic family in an environment filled with traps and deadly items. I'm aiming for it to be a lot more replayable experience, with more emphasis on the action.
