I have decided to make all the DLC for our game Lantern of Worlds : Storybook free. That is, the Art book and the Lore book.
With the game, I tried to combine 3 separate games into one package, and while it has been an interesting experiment, it didn't really work out.
With the engine I am using, things from one game started to bleed over into another, and it all became rather chaotic and messy.
So I think that's it for this game, for now. But I did want to leave you with the free DLC, hopefully you will find something interesting in it.
At the moment, I am busy with remaking the story of Layla, into a standalone game, with updated graphics and mechanics. I hope to be able to show something soon!

BeetleQuest 2 coming to Steam Next!

The Steam Next festival is almost upon us, and our new game, BeetleQuest 2, will participate!
BeetleQuest 2 is a point & click adventure game about three beetlefriends who go on their second adventure.
Join Dagmar, Magnus and Boris on a quest to help the beetle witch Frigga get back her magic spell. Someone has gotten into her cottage and stolen her spell that brings things to life, and the thief is using it everywhere!
Now, all across the land things are coming alive, causing all kinds of mayhem!
Search for the magic spell in forests and hills, in dark caves, snowy mountains, and even in a spooky castle. Solve puzzles on the way and meet with strange and friendly, or not so friendly, creatures.
So strap on your backpack and prepare your wits, and get ready for an adventure of epic beetleness!
We are also planning a big update for Lantern of Worlds - Storybook, but that will take a while to finish!
The Great Desert storyline of Lantern of Worlds: Storybook has now been completed! You can play it and finish it entirely. But more stories will be added to the great desert in the future!
Also, fixes and improvements have been done.
The great desert holds many mysteries and strange and wonderful creatures, so strap on your backpack, fetch your sword, and go out and meet them, in conversation or battle!
Also, the Lantern of Worlds: Lorebook has been published, and can be purchased as DLC. It contains many stories and backgrounds for the Lantern of Worlds universe.

The Lore Book for Lantern of Worlds : Storybook has been added!
In this book of 64 pages, you will find descriptions of the land of Idunia, it’s provinces and rulers, it’s customs, faiths and gods.
Read about the creation of the kingdom of Idunia and the great war that preceded it. A war or liberation to some, but of brutal conquest to others.
In this book you will also find severtal stories of characters you will meet in the game 'Lantern of Worlds : Storybook'. Read about the mighty warrior Brennus, the enchantress Mari, and Marton, hunter of creatures of the night.
With the growing of the game, the lore book will also grow and expand, and more stories and tales will be added!
By purchasing the lorebook, you will help to support and expand the game 'Lantern of Worlds: Storybook!'
The Great Desert Part 1 added!

A new story has been added to the Storybook! The first part of the Great Desert saga.
Enter a land of Arabian myth and legend and fight for your survival amidst sun scorched dunes and glittering oases. Encounter ancient ruines, forgotten temples and great pyramids, and battle the dangerous creatures within.

Lantern of Worlds - Storybook new update!

A new version of Lantern of Worlds - Storybook is ready!
In version 1.2, the UI of 'Lantern of Worlds - The First Quest' has been updated, and new locations have been added to the game.
Bugs have been send to the old bugs home, never to be seen again.
And work continues!
Soon, you will be able to visit the Village of Myrr, in 'Lantern of Worlds - The First Quest,' and talk to the inhabitants there, and go on new adventures!

Version 1.1 ready. Maps overhaul and more!

Lantern of Worlds - Storybook version 1.1 is now ready!
- All the maps of Lantern of Worlds - The First Quest, have been redone!
- A new sea location has been added to Lantern of Worlds - The First Quest.
- Bugs have been terminated.
I wasn't too happy with the original maps of Lantern of Worlds - The First Quest, so I decided to redo them, and I am quite happy with the result!

Lantern of Worlds - Storybook 1.0 ready!

And so it was, that after much work and toil, Lantern of Worlds - Storybook finally reached the distant and magical shores of version 1.0!
- All the tournament days are now complete. - A new story has been added. - Bugs have been investigated, prosecuted and sentenced to immediate squashing.
But there is more to come!
The Great Desert is waiting to be explored, and with it, all the wonder and magic of an Arabian Nights setting! But it's a bit of work, so it may take a while.
