Laser Lasso BALL is my first complete title. It's been a surprisingly long road to getting such a minimal game complete, but I'm satisfied with the end result.
I hope it feels like a world that keeps on living once you shut down the game.
I've also added a couple features in the release build:
- Master CPU difficulty : when you select this, the bot remains at its highest difficulty for 13 rounds. See if you can beat it!
- Switch Color Palette in main menu
Pre-Release Early Access Update
It's been a while, but I've just added a new update of the game. I'm very close to hitting the release version!
Single Player vs CPU mode added!
- BOTKILLER Achievement added for defeating the CPU
- The bot gets progressively more difficult as you work your way through the roster, boosting is reacting speed and adding advanced tactics to its repertoire.
Keyboard Controls
- now on at default
- Player 1 : Arrow Keys and Ctrl
- Player 2 : WASD and Space
- Press P in game to Pause
Other Tweaks
- Crowd member collision more efficient so the game should run better on lower end systems
- New crowd members
- Particle FX to enhance feedback of certain events
- Kicking other players now cancels their attacks, making it a more valid tactic (try it!)
- New help screen
- Weapon Ball is more apparent
- More animations on player characters
- Toggle Palette Swap in main menu with (P) or (Select)
Danger Mode
- danger mode is activated in rare occasions when the match appears imbalanced. The crowd will attempt to rush the center of the arena, setting off deadly weapons.
