Improved environment visuals in the Great College.
Improved environment visuals in the Storm Swept Isles.
Updated the VFX for Dragonfire from the Dragonsong unique bow.
Added VFX for Caches so they are easier to notice.
Removed the extra spacing that appeared after the Memory Amber cost in the Weaver Tree respec modal.
Improved the visuals of the Winged Fire enemy, which was previously too dark.
Added VFX for the Downfall of the Righteous unique item to indicate the range at which enemies are inflicted with Witchfire.
Fixed a visual issue where Annointed’s Consecrated Aura from Judgment was visible from underneath bridges.
Fixed flickering effect in the Time Slow aura from the Time shrine.
The Void Amalgamation and Infernal Husk have new foley, vocalizations, and skill sound effects.
Fixed an animation issue with Sentinel’s Shield Rush where the shield would float to the side.
Rotated the Blade Of The Forgotten Knight’s inventory icon to match orientation of other swords’ icons in game.
Updated the Mage’s casting animation when channelling to a more dynamic version.
Loomwalker's Silk Slam animation now better matches where the attack deals damage.
Quality of Life Updates
Negative ailments such as ignite, slow, marked for death, etc are now cleansed when returning to the Echo of a World or the Monolith of Fate.
Instances of "chance to bleed" descriptions have been updated to "chance to inflict bleed" for clarity and better readability.
The player can now use the report bug panel while opening the recolor option list in the loot filter, allowing screenshots of that panel to be captured in in-game bug reports.
Tomb and Cemetery entrance indicators now have a different icon than the echo objectives for improved navigability.
The Void Mines fired by Void Prophets and by Maul Heart the Pale Enforcer will now dissipate when the enemy that fired them died.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where the Ice Barrage attack of Ice Elementals and similar enemies would fire icicles that looked misaligned.
Fixed an issue where Runemaster's Trinity of Elements invocation was spawning the three elemental beams on top of each other, rather than offset around the player.
Fixed edge cases with movement abilities which could cause bosses such as Rahyeh the Black Sun to disappear from the arena.
Fixed a case where Forgotten Knight faction progress could reset when playing multiple HC characters.
Fixed the visuals for the chains breaking after interacting with the lance in the Tomb of Morditas.
Fixed invalid loot filter files causing UI issues when they are loaded.
Fixed a bug where, after allocating Doctrine of the Anvil, repeatedly using Multistrike while standing still would sometimes result in Multistrike failing to start.
Fixed an issue where a replaced Evade (such as Terrify) was counted as short-ranged for the purposes of the WASD “Short ranged follows movement” movement setting.
Fixed an issue where the Woven Echo reward panel quick move actions were not showing or working properly.
Fix issue with Primalist’s Spriggan Form not triggering its stun animation correctly.
Fixed a issue where champions’ energy VFX would not get deactivated on death.
Fixed a bug where the VFX for Armor Shred lingered for a few seconds after the Armor Shred effect ended.
The Fire Ground DoT fields spit up by Fire Lizards should now only ignite, and no longer shreds fire resistance.
Penance can now only trigger on the affected target once every 0.35s. We don't want to remove the capability for Acolytes to hurt themselves to trigger other effects, but we need to prevent infinite damage loops that were hurting the servers even more than the Acolytes.
Fixed a bug where reducing Smite’s mana cost below 0 while Desperate Measures was allocated could significantly raise Smite’s mana cost while at negative mana
Fixed a bug where Judgement’s Righteous Decree node could cast Smite while Smite has a non-zero mana cost and you are at negative mana
Echo Objective changes
Changed unstable rifts spawns from 2 - 3 to always 2
Increased the loot for clearing unstable rifts when running the echo for the first time
Increased stability reward from 2 x base stability to 2.6 for 1 rift and 3.2 for 2 rifts
Exiled mages echo
Reduced Exiled mages spawn from 2 - 3 to always 2
# Weaver Tree imprint node changes:
- Fixed a bug that caused imprint item nodes to drop items less frequently than intended. - Imprint items more consistently drop items similar to them (they retain the chance to drop other uniques of the same item type, but this chance is much lower than in 1.2.3). - Fixed a bug that could cause rare and exalted items dropped by imprint item nodes to display as normal items instead of their actual rarity. - Reduced the chance of imprint nodes dropping magic items instead of rare or exalted ones.
*Developer note*: The updates to imprinted item nodes released in patch 1.2.3 unintentionally caused items to appear both less frequently and with less similarity than intended. Additionally, when an imprint did generate rare and exalted items, they were occasionally incorrectly shown as a different rarity, causing them to be hidden by many players' loot filters. After these fixes the amount, rate, and similarity of generated items from imprinted nodes is closer to what they were before.
We're continuing to listen to feedback on the system and are already working on requested improvements - including a way to indicate when an item has dropped as a result of an imprint.
Last Epoch Hotfix 1.2.3.2
Changes
Reverted a change that caused erroneous skill point loss notification spam. As a result, we’re still working on a fix for the skill panel blinking indicator that is meant to fire when an item with +X to skill is unequipped
Last Epoch Hotfix 1.2.3.1
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue preventing the use of abilities in WASD mode after interacting with objects.
Fixed an issue causing items in the stash and vendor window to become greyed out.

Last Epoch Hotfix 1.2.3
Bug Fixes
Skills
Fixed an issue where player was unable to properly use Flame Rush while channeling Focus with Mana Guide equipped.
Fixed Crest of Unity not forcing Elemental Nova to have all elemental tags.
Fixed a bug with Volatile Reversal where allocating Immutable Past did not prevent triggering effects that require being able to jump backwards in time, such as Warped Time.
Fixed a display bug with Volatile Reversal where allocating ‘Immutable Past’ did not remove the buff UI icon displaying how long you have remaining on your ability to re-activate Volatile Reversal to jump a second time.
Fixed an issue where Shield Throw would create multiple shields if Void Knight mastery was selected.
Fixed a bug with Rebuke where Burst of Speed was not granting Haste, and was instead granting 25% increased movement speed.
Fixed a bug where, under certain conditions, Fallen From Grace and Order of Lagon could fail to convert Smite’s base damage to void or lightning respectively.
Fixed a bug with the Forge Guard passive tree where many sources of Haste didn’t have their effects converted to block chance by Forgemaster’s Might.
Fixed a bug where Heartseeker would target invulnerable enemies.
Fixed a bug where Heartseeker would prioritize targeting certain enemy types over others. For example, Exiled Mages could not be targeted unless there were no other enemies in range.
In the Bladedancer passive tree, Argent Veil has been clarified to state that it only triggers when damage taken by enemies puts you below 70% health (rather than any means of dropping below 70% health).
The alt text for Shadow Cascade now has additional information clarifying that Shadow Cascade has 10% base critical strike chance, instead of the typical 5%.
Fixed a bug where the visual trails for Umbral Blades would travel less distance than the blades in the ground.
Fixed a bug where a portion of Dread Shade visuals would be inside of the minion they were attached to.
Fixed a bug where Thorn Shield stayed in spawn place after scene transitions.
The Blizzard’s Wrath, Thunderous Storm, and Grand Cyclone nodes now display subskill tooltips for Tempest Strike’s spells, allowing their descriptions and tags to be viewed. They do not currently offer DPS estimates.
Fixed a bug where changing summoned minions in town could cause both types of minions to be auto re-summoned when exiting the town.
Fixed an issue where players could get stuck after using movement abilities in the Tundra near the inactive bridge.
Imprinted Items
Made a number of fixes and changes to Imprinted items:
Fixed an issue where altering the original imprinted item could affect the imprint itself.
Fixed a bug where imprinted Unique, Set, and Legendary items were unable to result in generating different Uniques or Sets than the imprinted one.
Fixed imprinted item remaining Weavers Will and Affix tiers not correctly corresponding to dropped item average Weaver’s Will for imprinted Legendary Weaver’s Will items.
Fixed an issue where replacing an imprinted item on the Weaver Tree sometimes didn’t remove the other item visually.
Added a chance for imprinted normal/magic/rare/exalted items to result in drops of Unique and Set items of the same item type.
Reworked Forging Potential roll for similar items. Low and medium Forging Potential imprinted items result in drops with higher FP on average, and even low Forging Potential imprinted items have a chance to result in items with normal Forging Potential.
Guests’ Imprint nodes now work as long as the Host has the same imprint node. The guests’ imprinted items are used for their drops instead of the Host’s. This does not include Woven Echo imprint nodes.
Dungeon, Monolith and Quest
Fixed a bug where using Portal charms would result in one more mod than intended for dungeon tiers where a mod was added when you started the dungeon.
Fixed a bug where the each cast of the Imperial Soulmage’s Hungering Soul ability would permanently increase the damage of any Flaming Soul cast by the Imperial Pyromancer.
Fixed an issue where dying on the Monolith Hub with items around you could visually duplicate the items on the floor.
Fixed a bug that prevented the quest pulse directing you to the Temple of Eterra from appearing after defeating the Giant Weather Statue boss in the Courtyard.
Fixed an issue where the Eternity Cache would not play its reveal visual effect.
Fixed an issue where you could see Memory Amber remaining from previous zones.
Fixed an issue where players could interact with a echo portal and a Cemetery entrance/exit in the same frame, causing transition errors and preventing movement.
Items
Fixed a bug where the Loom Walker idol (increased stun chance and added stun avoidance) was acting as a multiplier to other sources of increased stun chance, rather than adding to them.
Fixed a bug where Mantle of the Pale Ox was giving an amount of increased health for the player that was different from what was stated. For existing items, the listed values for “20-32% increased health for you and your minions” will change to accurately reflect the amount of increased health it was granting to the player.
Fixed a bug where Grasp of the Blood Mage’s mana spent reflected to you as damage could set you to 1 health after taking you out of Reaper Form. It can still take you out of Reaper Form, but your health will be restored to full as usual.
Input
Fixed an issue where players could use Warpath without moving when using WASD.
Fixed an issue on controller where UI fields would be skipped while navigating Unique item names in the Bazaar.
UI/Visual
Fixed an issue where CTRL+F hotkey didn’t work for selecting the Weaver Tree search field.
Fixed an issue where the Skill panel’s blinking indicator for when a “+X to Skill” affix is removed did not function.
Fixed an issue where gold could be lost when attempting to swap to an incompatible Blessing.
Fixed a bug which could cause the Blessing Reward Replacement Panel to display the wrong Blessing to be replaced.

Stash searching now supports macros, expressions, and regex
Updated some in-zone item UIs (e.g. Nemesis, Woven Offering), to
automatically set a relevant search macro or expression based on the
restrictions of the item slot when opening the stash Regex

Eterra Monthly: April. 2025 Edition
Hello Travelers, Welcome to the Eterra Monthly: April Edition! The month of April was a giant leap forward for Last Epoch. After a 9-month wait, Travelers all over the world were finally able to launch the 1.2 Season 2: Tombs of the Erased Patch! With new friends, challenges, skills, Factions, gear, Echoes, and so much more, April gave us a lot to talk about. So let’s dive in and see how things are going in the world of Eterra.
Patch Review
Patch 1.2 Tombs of the Erased was the launch patch for Last Epoch Season 2. Travelers flocked to the servers in an enormous show of support. While there is simply too much to talk about in this one blog, we will go over some of the big things Season 2 brought us. For all of the other juicy details, check out the Massive 100+ page Patch Notes, or the Hype Week Blog Posts 1, 2, 3, & 4.
The Woven
*“Rejoice, Traveler! We’ve prepared a Silken Tomb for you. Woven with golden strands that even you cannot break.”* Masque delivered this line to us more than a month ago with the reveal of the Season 2 Trailer. It’s enough to make your skin crawl, and boy, did the Weaver deliver! The Woven Faction is the newest Endgame Faction for Travelers to join after completing their first Tomb or Cemetery in the Monolith of Fate. After this, Travelers will be taken to a new Monolith Island called The Haven of Silk. On this island, Travelers will be free to speak with Masque and spend Memory Amber so they can progress through the Faction ranks.
As Travelers earn ranks and complete challenges, they will earn Weaver Tree Points that can be spent in the Weaver Faction tree, allowing them to manipulate their Echo map. Travelers can also visit the Woven Altar inside the Cemeteries to slot Woven Echoes into their Echo map for new and exciting challenges.
Heartseeker
Have you ever wanted to destroy hordes of enemies with a single arrow? Have you ever wanted to compete with Legolas and save your arrows at the same time? Have you ever wanted to do both of those things and whistle a discordant tune while doing it? Well, now you can. Heartseeker is the newest Skill in the Marksman skill arsenal and is unlocked at 30 passive points in the Marksman Passives tree.
Launching a ranged projectile with the ability to recurve to the same target repeatedly, Heartseeker is highly capable in both Hit and DoT style builds to bring high-health targets to their knees. With Heartseeker, you will find a new mechanic in Last Epoch: Recurve Chance.
Sentinel Rework
While Volatile Reversal may have the spotlight for the Sentinel Rework, there’s a whole lot of other changes for the class with this update in both Skills and Passives. Since this is a significant overhaul of the class and its subsequent masteries, we encourage you to check out all of the details in the Patch Notes and Hype Week Blog Post #2 linked above.

Eyes on Eterra
One of the hottest topics in Season 2 is the long-awaited Mastery Respec. Travelers have been asking for this option for some time, and EHG delivered! But we’ve seen some questions about how and where to make it work.
Once you’ve unlocked the End of Time during the main campaign, Travelers will get to choose one of the 15 masteries made available between the 5 base classes. This choice was once the ONLY decision in Last Epoch that couldn’t be undone. Well, not anymore. Turns out EHG put the Epoch to good use and added a new Respecialization option to Chronomancer Lerinne.
It’s important to know two things before you decide to hop over and change your career path.
1. This respc can only be done at the End of Time. Visiting a Chronomancer at any other point in the game will not allow you to change your mastery. Lerinne is the only one who knows how to do it. 2. It’s going to cost you some coin to convince her. The cost to respec your mastery scales from 100g at level 1, up to 1,000,000g at level 100, and is combined with the price for respeccing all allocated passive points. Respeccing your mastery will also reset all of your passive points. So, make sure you really want to change before paying up.

Build Spotlight
This month’s Build Spotlight is going to send a chill through your spine… well, at least your enemies. TriKster’s Icicle Heartseeker Marksman utilizes raw Dexterity and Cold Damage to boost multiple projectiles from the Heartseeker skill with the cold conversion node Controlled Icicle. This build does utilise some specific Uniques, so put on your farming hat. You’re going to need Peak of the Mountain to greatly improve your Critical Strike Chance. A Reign of Winter bow, preferably with a crafted exalted, Crit Chance, and Bow Attack Speed affix. Toss in Mourningfrost boots, which will heavily boost our cold damage for all projectiles. Ucenui's Sphere will be your best option for a relic to rake in even more cold damage.
Like all great builds, there are some Pros and Cons, but for that, we encourage you to check out the Build Guide. Now get out there and win the world's most dangerous snowball fight!
Meet the Team
This month was a wild one filled with twists, turns, and enough chaos to outshine a Chaos Bolt Barrage. But through it all, we got to talk to our very own Influencer Manager, Foton!
Tell us a little about your job and what it includes.
I wear a couple of hats that are pretty closely intertwined. My primary hat is Influencer Manager, where I work with content creators of all sizes, making sure they have the information, assets, and overall support that they need. Our content creator program exceeds 1200 creators now, so it's quite a bit of work making sure they've all got what they need. It's not unlikely you'll see me in your favorite Last Epoch streamers' chat from time to time. I also do things like organize interviews, plan Twitch Drop campaigns, and more. If you're watching sponsored Last Epoch Content, you can safely bet I was involved in making that content happen.
My secondary hat is Social Media Manager. The posts you see are usually written by me. A lot of the marketing and communication there is a team effort, and I work closely with Community Managers on a lot of that. And when I can get away with it, I meme.
What inspired you to get into Video Game Marketing, and how did you end up at this studio?
I've wanted to work in video games since childhood. I always envisioned myself as a designer or director, or engineer. In a million years, I would never have expected myself to land in marketing. Much less influencer management. This may be my first job in the industry, but the industry has had its claws in me for a long time.
How does working at an indie studio differ from working at a larger studio?
I have no idea. I get the vibe that EHG is sort of a special place within the industry, and very much not the norm. How do you balance working from home with your home life?
It's pretty challenging sometimes. I genuinely love what I do, and I have a harder time breaking away from work than I do fighting distractions. The trick is to log out of Steam. How do you balance creativity with practical constraints like time, budget, or technical limitations?
That's probably the hardest part of the work. Marketing, whether it be influencer or social media focused, is all creative work. And you will reach practical constraints, often. It's important not to let them slow you down or defeat you. Hitting a wall isn't failure. Failure isn't necessarily bad. These things teach us and allow us to grow. And in the marketing department, it's extremely important to throw your ideas out there earnestly. Even if they seem like bad ones. It's a very collaborative process, and there's a good chance someone is facing similar constraints.
What’s the most impactful lesson you've learned while working in an indie studio?
So, this is a great question that I touched on in the last answer. Collaboration is key. Everyone here is here because they have a passion for the work. Everyone brings their own experiences, perspectives, and thought processes to the table. All equally valid and important. Remembering that you are all working towards the same goal is important. Your ideas, no matter how good they are, aren't going to come out of that the same as they went in. And that's a good thing.
How do you stay motivated and creative, especially during long or difficult projects?
I make memes to blow off steam. Some of those make it onto Reddit or our socials. It reframes my way of thinking and reminds me of why I do what I do. What kind of feedback from players do you find most helpful or motivating?
I always feel a little warm and fuzzy when one of the aforementioned memes goes over well. I put a lot of myself into those.
Is there anything you’ve worked on that you are particularly proud of? Anything that stands out as an achievement?
Tour of the Erased. One day, I might tell the story of how this came to be. I learned a lot from it. There were a lot of moving parts, and there were a lot of ways it could have gone wrong. But ultimately, through collaboration with the creators, the team that appeared on the podcast, the marketing team, and the community team, it turned out great. And achieved a lot of the goals we set for it at the onset. Even with last-minute changes to the schedule, we had solid engagement and positive sentiment. I'm already planning the next one.
What advice would you give someone who wants to get into this industry?
Don't give up. There are a lot of ways you can contribute to the creation of a game. Games need Coders, Technical Artists, Traditional Artists, A myriad of Writers, Marketers, Graphic Designers, Game Designers, Operations Specialists, Community Managers, Audio Designers, Composers, Testers, and so much more. (I'm sorry to any team members that I accidentally left out.) Find a specialty, find something you truly love to do, and pursue it wholeheartedly. Be open to opportunities that might be exactly what it is you want to do.
Is there anything else you’d like to tell our readers?
In the words of Abraham Lincoln
"Be Excellent to Each Other." I'll see you all in Eterra!
Discord Fun
The Last Epoch Official Discord is still growing! With new fans and Travelers joining every day, there’s always something to talk about. In case you’re new to the server or just haven’t heard, the Community Management Team has put together a weekly CM Cozy Stream as an excuse to spend even more time with you. Every Wednesday at 10:30 AM CST, a special voice channel will unlock where you can come hang out with the CMs and chat while they create general mayhem in-game. The Streams are hosted by a rotating roster between Kain, Wick, and Averielle. **Fanart Carcinization**
Redditor WilliamGoatCreates took the concept of fan art above and beyond! Everyone loves the Carcinization of Momentum, A.K.A The Crab Ring, but William seems to feel that simply finding one isn’t enough, and decided to make one! The details on this real-life Crab Ring are gorgeous and had to be shared. Please check out their post on the Last Epoch Reddit where you can see the ring up close. Then hop over to YouTube to see How it was Made! Well done!
**April 1st**
While it wasn’t made exclusively for Discord, we would be doing a disservice by not bringing up the warm, fuzzy feeling we all had on April 1st this year. A few devious minds in the studio got together to create a brand new game pitch for you all to kick your feet over. Love Epoch - The Last Epoch Dating Sim came in with a mock-Steam page, gameplay screenshots, Baldur’s Gate references, DLC, and an undercover reveal of two of our favorite cosmetics that were, in fact, very real. The team had a roaring good time putting this together for you all, and we hope you got a kick out of it too. If you want to read the official post, hop on over to This Link Right Here and enjoy.
What's Next?
So, after all of the webs have settled, you may be asking, “What’s Next for Last Epoch?” Or you’re overwhelmed by the sheer volume of new things to do in the world of Eterra and have just been skimming this post. I wouldn’t blame you if you did.
As you can imagine, the team is constantly working to bring you the very best. As such, you can expect new Patches and Hotfixes to roll out as quickly as possible to address the needs and wants of every one of you. As you may have already seen, the Studio has implemented an In-Game Banner system to make players aware of any upcoming updates. So keep your eye above your chat window so you can stay ahead.
This has been Eterra Monthly; a report on the happenings and changes in the world of Last Epoch. We hope you have enjoyed this month’s report and will see you all again soon.

Fixed Draal Queen tentacles potentially being killable before the Draal Queen herself in edge cases.
Fixed Draal Lava Gatherers not scaling with level or monolith mods in the Draal Queen fight. Mods from other Echoes aside, they have about 30% more damage at level 100, similar damage at level 60, and about 50% less health at level 60.

Improvements
Increased the drop rate of Resonances in parties by 60%. This change will mean that some players who have played together for an extended period of time previously may receive a Resonance shortly after playing together again.
Optimized loading times for procedurally generated side zones.
Opening the character sheet using a controller now also opens the inventory panel.
Improved search bars for the Skill trees, Passive trees, Weaver tree, and the Monolith Echo web. They will now be able to search for localized text.
The stash button on Woven Echo crafting panel now closes the stash when clicked if the stash is already open.
When using a controller and highlighting Keys or Charms in your Keys inventory, the tooltips now display all of the quick button options, including that the X button moves the key/charm to the Dungeon entrance panel.
Added a new controller targeting paradigm which predicts enemy's movement for more accurate targeting, tailored for Meteor, Acid Flask, and Explosive Trap.
Shield Rush’s animation speed now scales with move speed, rather than attack speed. This is only a visual change.
Reduced jitter in the movement of Chaos Bolts in Online mode.
Reduced jitter in the movement of Static Orb in both Online and Offline mode.
Reduced the screen shake from the Sewer Dweller and Swamp Fiend enemies.
Fire Lich Cremorus’ dungeon boss fight has been given some visual polish. Projectiles and minions will now appear with visual effects, and projectiles end with a visual effect. Skull projectiles no longer face in odd directions.
Fire Lich Cremorus' Fire Line attack will no longer go under or fly high above the arena. Ability visibility has been improved.
Imprisoned Mages have been adjusted to be slightly brighter and easier to spot visually.
Added a new visual model for the Tolmat’s History Of Eterra Unique catalyst.
Added a new visual model for the Aberroth’s Command Unique sceptre.
Updated Holy Paladin model for Mage, Primalist, and Rogue to include the kneepads on the boots, instead of on the body armor. The visuals of the set when equipped together are unchanged.

game visuals more accurately.
Updated VFX for Divine Essence on the Paladin passive tree.
Added missing localization entries for new Affixes.

sealed prefixes, non
sealed suffixes, or sealed affixes an item has:
Prefix count (Min, Max)
Suffix count (Min, Max)
Sealed (Any, Not Sealed, Sealed, Sealed Prefix, Sealed Suffix)
Added an error message that displays when trying to list items that are not allowed to be listed in the Bazaar.
There is now a new sound effect for picking up Memory Amber. Additionally, the sound is much clearer in the audio mix.
Improved the experience while suffering from moderate packet loss, which often manifested as desynching and disconnections.
Other Changes
The experience provided as a reward for completing Timelines no longer provides Favor or Reputation for Item Factions. In Season 2, we introduced two changes that created a situation where one could, in early stages of progression, create new characters just to complete these quests for gaining Favor and Reputation:
Monolith of Fate’s progression being shared between characters that share a stash
New mechanic that is able to provide a variable amount of experience from completing quests. We used this with Timeline completion quests to provide a much bigger experience reward (capped to a full character level or the experience value, whichever was the lowest amount of total experience).
Bone Scavenger mimics now emerge to attack players from a longer range, but are invincible before doing so.
Cursed Threads (from the Possessed Mod ability pool) now counts as a DoT effect. It can no longer stun or critically strike players.
Removed unnecessary voice lines from endgame Liath.
Resized Grael in multiple scenes to make his size consistent throughout the game.
Prevented a rare issue where players could load, delete, or create a character while the character list was loading.
