Apologies for the lack of news, by third part jobs and various problems i can start back full time working on this project only this month, now i focus my fulltime for finalize and release the beta update, for starting i want show you all how actually run the game and the new map:

The big part of the game rewrite now is done and the game run smootlhy!
Actual status :
Item, skill, crafting Database and map enviroments finalized
Night/Day system rewrited
Random spawns for monster and animals rewrited
Gathering system finalized
Inventory, equip and avatar making finalized (exept for UI)
Avatar Making addition like pants, shirt, underwear, scars, tatoo and eyes curstomizations
Skill progression system done, now skill have 10 LV with a 0/100 progression each di 10 Lv, maximize skills unlock other skills
Now skills are unlockable by making actions( hit enemyes with swords unlock Swordmanship ecc)
The new map is a desolated zone for starting your citybuilding and unlockyng other zones.

Fixing Graphics for the new code (armours ecc)

Anime Avatar Making
Hi guys, Here is how look the Avatar making with the anime models, now i have to take a definitive way , one for simply bugfix the actual build on steam, and close it using the old graphics, or a second with the new art/camera styles.

Possible new artstyle
Finally after years of research, i develope an anime shader that fullfill my wish , my will is to use it for all the npc and player characters for the game , this way i can move 2/3 of my time work on models making from texturing to animation and cinematic for the story (no need for texture with this shader) , this is a first test [previewyoutube="yW8Pidx_Y10;full"]

New Render Engine
Hi guys, i just finish to convert all the game shaders for the new unity universal render pipeline, that give a huge boost on fps count and general performance at the cost of loosing (temporary) some features like ambient occlusion and global illumination, now the next step is to reach the old version art fealing and reimplement all game systems.
On this video i want to show the new buildings that work now for third person view and top down view with roof desapear like old version.

Game Rewriting Progress
Hi guys,
the game rewriting go smoothing now, i start to rewrite the gameplay part for the main character, i put here a video for show you the new ingame camera system in action with the ability to switch from topdown to third person camera .

Due to this new camera and the new cinematics i want to add for the story quest, i need to remodel and retexturing a lot of models for the enviroments, for giving a better visual and adapt the this new camera system. Let me know what do you think !
Enter Beta Stage
The game re-writing process proceed fast and smooth now , atm is done 80% of the work and i start to rebuild the game itself with all the new systems and database!
I did some drastical change to the avatar system , removing the "fat" features for avoid problem with equip adding instead a lot of new detail like eyes, tatoo and scars

I hope to put a build until a finish to test and rewrite all ingame system i need to test after the avatar and saving system done now similar to the actual online , with a changed map for the starting zone, next step contain the foundation for the story quest, the building zone (player isle) and adventure diary and the player village management system (building, npc, pets, quest)

Game Status
Actually i switch to the last Unity engine and i have to rewrite completelly the game and all systems and UI ,
this take long time as expected plus i have a side job who stole other time.
From now the release date is like Dukenukem forever : "When is done!"
For sure i dont abbandoned this project who cost me more than 20k , but with only 400 EA "supporter" with 200+ who ask for refunds , you can easly make your maths for why take so long.
Have patience, im working with no funds now on free time ,
From now i stop to read the comunity post , for focus on developing and avoid to Cancel the entire project just for reading some kid post.

The game is still alive
Hi guys, sorry for lack of news on the last months but i i was stuck on some third party jobs.
Finally i can start to work on Last Stonelord fulltime again!
First thing to say , i migrate all the project to the last Unity Engine available (5.6 first and 2018.2 now)
for take advantage on new features like Cinematic tools and optimization.
I start a general cleanup and rewrite most part of the code for minimize bugs, errors and make all full compatible with the last unity.
Due to the cost of production i drop the story mode for now and focus on making a complete sandbox experience with random isles / event / monster invasion for release 1.0.
Hoping to release this new revised version for the end of this September.

Last Stonelord Changes
First of all guys, sorry for the lack of next, im a little busy with other projects/contest/try to pay bills things!
I think to do some big change on the game progression adding a Level system with classes , 100 levels with one new class to pick every 10 levels, 5 class tiers subdivided in 6 branch , you need at last one class in a branch tier for enable the next tier (on right level) , 64 class in total for now.
Every class have 1 passive skill and 1-3 casts.
The actual skills remainas as is, passive progression from 0 to 100 using items and crafting, i just interpreter it as weapons and crafting mastery now.
After the new skills/class system i planned to work to daily quests (crafting and killing) and story.
Also , i start to write one Light novel for Last Stonelord as base for the Main Story quest .
