An Update and What's Next
News
With the recent release of Lastone: Behind the Choice in another platform that we can't mention here, we're updating Lastone for all of you with another quality-of-life update!
We know that the game is not easy, and was not made to be easy, but we want more players to be able to read the heartful story the writers wrote. So now we're adding a skip system to the gameplay if you're stuck in a game in between the story.
However, to not downplay the puzzle designer's work as well, we made it so the skip button only appears after you lose or give up three times in a row to the same person, so please do your best as well on those games!
We're also planning for a Linux and macOS port next, if you'd like to be part of the port-tester, join us on our Discord! There also might come other exciting updates involving the residents' looks, so keep an eye out for that as well!

Originally, this game was intended for players who have a lot of time to learn the game, especially the pattern when you battle with each character, so players will come back from their loses stronger each time. But, after quite a lot of players I've seen on YouTube play this in their spare time or after a long day of work (I assume), I figured I might need to tweak the game a bit. So, I made a casual mode that you can choose before you start the story of any characters!
The casual mode is intended for players who just want to have a relaxing time playing this game or want to read the story without too much of a hassle learning this game. The learning curve of the casual mode should help the players understand the game's pattern much more easily now, with the same "maximum number of stones you can take" across every games while still varies on "the number of the pots". The casual mode should also unlock the extra, just like the default mode, so you can still replay the scenes unlocked in the casual mode. Now, if you want to enjoy the stories, you can do so through the casual mode.
