"Launch Party" has changed it's name to "Rockets are Super Hard".
This is due to some feedback received from potential players that they were not able to find many gameplay videos due to the widespread use of the name.
Please Note, you might have to uninstall and reinstall the game in order to run it due to the name change. Sorry about this!
There is also an update to the gameplay. Spit screen mode has been replaced by a universal second player cursor. This cursor is controlled using a controller so two players (one controlled, one mouse) can press buttons in the same mission over Steam Remote Play.
Hope you enjoy the game and apologies for any inconvenience!
PS. Please consider reviewing the game :) Thanks!
Small changes and improvements (v1.1)
Hello!
I've made a few changes (minor bugs) and improvements such as loading missions automatically (including all practice, solo and tutorial missions), as well as substantially improving the loading times between scenes.
As always, let me know if you encounter any bugs or have some suggestions for the game in the community forums.
Hope you enjoy the game - and please remember to leave a review!
Version 1.0!
After months of bug fixing, balancing and content development, Launch Party now has all of its core gameplay implemented. There are a number of big and small changes with this update, and they’re listed below:
There are now 20 missions which have been balanced to accommodate a more moderate player base, and a new hard mode which includes 10 missions of extreme difficulty
A new custom mode, where players can pick how difficult they want the mission, as well as which rocket they want to launch. Players earn points in this point to unlock achievements
Main missions and T-0 missions automatically load the next level upon completion
More achievements
2 new missions for endless mode
Improved loading times
Removed 'fixed' mode (following player feedback)
Red light and alert sound for panels
Many minor changes to the puzzles and guide (guide on v2.0)
Although many of the bugs have been fixed, they're pretty pesky! So please let me know in the community hub if you encounter any, and I'll be sure to fix them promptly!
Thanks!
Update 0.6
Launch Party has now been updated to version 0.6. There's several changes and additions with this version, listed below!
Fixed/Random Modes
In classic mode, you can choose between 'fixed' or 'random' mode. Fixed mode creates missions that are the same each time they are replayed, with all the answers/timings and variables being the same each time. So you could in theory write down every command that needs to be done at specific times. e.g. flick the switch at 45 secs. Random mode is what you might expect, with random answers/timings and variables, but with the same panels (this is what Launch Party has been like up to this point). Fixed mode should be easier to complete, as you can see where you went wrong and know exactly what to do for the next time around. In 'classic mode' missions, you can pick whether you want to play fixed or random.
Random Missions
You can now play random missions by selecting the terminal you want (T1, 2, 3, 4 or 5) and play completely random missions, with random panels and rockets.
7 New missions
There's 7 new missions, 5 of which feature terminal 5, the hardest terminal (see picture below). There's also 3 new propulsion panels (EPSILON IV, SPIELMANN and SATURN), which feature in the harder missions. (These panels can also be played in random missions)
25 Achievements
There's now 25 achievements that can be obtained by completing missions in both fixed and random modes.
Rocket.guide
The rocket guide has also been updated, including the addition of a 'tutorial help' section at the end of the document. This should help make the game easier to understand for newcomers.
Please post any bugs you find in the discussions, and don't forget to leave a review!
Many thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy the game!
Update 0.5
Hi everyone,
Following feedback and observed Steam Remote Play stats, this update brings a new split screen mode (with 10 additional missions). This means that two players can control the same terminal either locally or via Steam Remote Play Together. This mode is very experimental, and you may have some issues with the experience. At this time, one player must use a controller (some configuration with Steam controller settings may be needed). In the future, I hope to update this so both players can use their mice.
Another remote play mode is planned for the future (multiple mice with one screen) and I hope to improve these features during early access, given user feedback. If you do try split screen, please post feedback in the discussion boards so the mode can be improved!
Thanks!

Changes and Bugs
Original ‘campaign’ now changed to ‘tutorial’
Menu changes
Balancing the missions

Fuel hold times changed
Rocket guide typo updates
Please let us know what you think!
Version 0.2 (Campaign mode and small changes)
Campaign Mode
Launch Party has now been updated to version 0.2. Included in this update is a new mode (Campaign), which can be played single player. It's also a good mode to learn how to play the game. In this mode, some of the pages of the manual (the ones you will need for any given mission) can be viewed in-game. We would love to see what players (especially single players) think of this mode, and it can be improved. There will be more single-player missions added to future updates!
Small Changes/Bugs
Following feedback, we have slightly muted the colours to put less strain on the eyes. (Future updates will add settings for this)
Guide book has now been updated (Pigeon altitudes have been slightly changed). Version is now 1.1 and is already live on rocket.guide
Stages button removed for missions where they are not needed
Fixed a bug that was causing the Prime PROPULSION panel to fail
Changed timers on the Config and Boolean DEBUG panels
Changed timers on the Control panel
Fixed typos on the Boolean DEBUG panel
That's it for now! We look forward to adding more missions (it's going to get even more difficult) in future updates!
Thanks.
Update to version 0.1.3
We've updated the game (v.0.1.3) to include 26 single prelaunch puzzle missions, with a large countdown timer. This will allow players to familiarise themselves with certain prelaunch puzzles, and also enables new players to play less intensively.
Following feedback, we have also changed some of the countdown timers to better suit the intended challenge of the mission. We look forward to including a variety of missions, both very easy and extremely hard, to accommodate players of all levels.
