Hi everyone, how is this Saturday going? We hope you are all safe and well! We have just released a small technical update that will modify a few things ingame that could have a certain impact on the gameplay and the game feel of Leap of Champions.
We received feedback from you that certain aspects of the 3C design and implementation (camera, character, control) could have been improved and that's what we worked on. At the same time, we took the time to rebalance and tweak the gunplay (specifically main and secondary guns) to hopefully make the game feel more rewarding and fair. We also fixed some bugs in the Forest and Citadel maps and in the Story Mode. We also planned to continue doing so in the next updates as well. We are also looking into improving and optimising UI and UX of the Story Mode as well as the multiplayer.
As always, please let us know how the gameplay feels now and if we can still do something to make it more fun and engaging. Balancing can be a tricky process, but we have all the will to do so, please just have a little bit of patience until we find the perfect tune for our Champions! As soon as we found it, we will publish the new figures and data for all the nerds who are interested in them!
We would like to suggest you to keep an eye on our pages, because we have other news coming up!
Thanks for the support, the attention and the patience that you are showing us, they are must appreciated.
Grazie and have a good weekend LeafGS
Story Mode is out!
Hi everyone, we hope you are safe and ready for some action!
We are excited to announce the release of the Single Player Story Mode for LOC. We didn't add a lot of contents recently, but that was because we were working on this big feature during the rollercoaster of the pandemic.
Even if we spend a lot of time on competitive multiplayer titles, we love compelling and engaging narrative in games and we wanted to challenge ourselves to create a little narrative mode for Leap of Champions. We wanted you to know and fantasise on the universe of Champions as we already do and we wanted to give you a little bit of the taste of how living in the timeless city of Klepsydria feels like.
You will fight as Mehens, a talented Champion fighting together with the Alpha faction. Tired of the Eternal Conflict, he start reconsidering his abnegation to the Eternal Conflict; despite his doubts, he needs to keep fighting to discover the secret behind the was and the Champions themselves.
Build 2.00 (Story Mode) Feature List - Single Player Story Mode that unravels the secrets behind the Eternal Conflict through gameplay and comic styled cutscenes. - Try in advance 2 new Maps and 2 Gameplay Modes such as “Attack and Defend” that will be available later in Multiplayer. - Explore Klepsydria, the Timeless City. - Unlock new Trophies
As for "Industrial Dominion" (Build 1.02), the game price has been increased, but the new update will be for free for all the people that already own the game as usual.
We are looking forward for you to trying it out and let us know what you think about it. Please let us know your opinion or if we messed up somewhere around the game. Things are getting bigger and it's easier to leave something unseen.
Have fun, stay safe and as always, thanks for the support!
Ciao LeafGS
